Prediction 1. Happy 2. All of me 3. Talk dirty 4. Dark horse 5. Let it go 6. Turn down for what 7. Not a bad thing 8. Pompeii 9. Fancy 10. Loyal Sing will jump to #11 or 12, hopefully to hit the top ten the following week! *fingers crossed* This prediction is really solid. I'm rooting for you. Looks like my prediction of "Sing" beating any other song to the #1 spot may be wrong. "Fancy" is exceeding expectations in every way.

Fancy might go #1 next week. It's featured in a video that's going viral:
5 million views in less than a day. They play the song from the beginning until the second verse. It's the first song in the video.
Still #1 on Spotify and selling 40% more than Happy/60% more than All of Me on iTunes.

Over on the Digital Songs chart, P harrell's "Happy" spends an 11th week at No. 1 (208,000 downloads; down 24 percent), marking the second-longest run at No. 1 ever. The only song with more weeks at No. 1 is Flo Rida's "Low," which clocked 13 weeks at No. 1 in 2007 and 2008. Digital Songs launched nearly 10 years ago, with the chart dated Oct. 30, 2004. "Happy" leads a static top five: Nos. 1-5 all hold their position for another week. John Legend's "All of Me" is No. 2 (187,000; down 12 percent); Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty," featuring 2 Chainz, is No. 3 (145,000; down 27 percent); Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" is No. 4 (133,000; down 16 percent); and DJ Snake & Lil Jon's "Turn Down for What" is No. 5 (131,000; up 10 percent).Azalea's "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX, climbs 12-6 (108,000; up 29 percent) with the chart's largest unit gain (up 25,000). Katy Perry's "Dark Horse," featuring Juicy J, is stationary at No. 7 (104,000; down 8 percent), and Luke Bryan's "Play It Again" rises 9-8 (96,000; down 8 percent).Timberlake's "Not a Bad Thing" jumps 11-9 (87,000; up 1 percent), returning him to the top 10 for the first time as a lead artist since the June 15, 2013 chart. That's when "Mirrors" spent its final week in the region, at No. 10. Ed Sheeran's "Sing" rounds out the top 10, falling 8-10 with 80,000 (down 24 percent).Digital track sales this past week totaled 23 million downloads, down 4 percent compared with last week (24 million) and down 5 percent stacked next to the comparable week of 2013 (24.3 million). Year-to-date track sales are at 402.1 million, down 12 percent compared to the same total at this point last year (458.3 million).Billboard

C'mon Happy. 1 more week at #1 then you can free fall.
Although I wouldn't mind even more weeks but that's not going to happen. And thumbs way down for that Fancy song. Ugh.

Lord, radio is all over JTs b*llsack lol. He puts out something 'bearable' and it's an instant/guaranteed #1 (on radio). Sales are decent at best so it's def. looking like a Mirrors situation though I don't think NABT will peak at #2 on the Hot 100. I'm still beyond baffled why Birthday isn't doing jack on iTunes. Even w/ these stellar radio updates it's making very little difference. I get there were many who didn't care for it but also many people loved it. That said, it's very concerning it's struggling to even get into the 50s on iTunes in her biggest market lol. W.W. the song is at least top 20 in many big countries. No idea what's missing from the song to make it(so far) not connect w/ the U.S. public. I think something similar happened with Treasure last summer. Was def. sluggish on radio/ sales for a while then he did a few high profile performances (like Katy should do..soon!) then it took off, had amazing longevity and ended up helping album sales. It's now beloved by most and considered a major influence on the retro sound that's hot again.

JT's NABT is top 10 in digital sales so radio is not just carrying it. He had two other songs that didn't do as well so there's no indication that everything he puts out is guaranteed to be #1 radio.
I don't really care for Birthday and I could see why it's not selling as well as her others. That falsetto tone she has in the song is kind of grating to me.

^ haha you make some good points about B-day. I 'think' that could be a factor. Even though she's def. attempting to ride the retro wave and the song has all the ingredients and melodies etc..of her past songs, her vocals maybe aren't a good fit to many for that kind of sound (late 70s/early 80s funk). People seem to prefer Katy doing her 100% safe/ contemporary thing. Yes, it def. doing great on radio (so far) but every day I'm feeling more and more like this is gonna end up another Unconditionally (maybe worse if radio gives up on this sooner due to the poor sales) :/. Far as JTs first 2 singles- it was similar to what's happening with B-day. First two singles had major initial radio support but sales were mediocre at best and radio eventually gave up.

It's weird that the Spotify and VEVO charts aren't updated yet. I know right? It's already Wednesday and they usually have them updated by Monday or af the latest Tuesday...

C'mon Happy. 1 more week at #1 then you can free fall. Next week's #1 will probably be the Ariana/Iggy song tho.. Now that streaming is in the equation, there's no way in hell 300k or even 400k sales for Problem will be enough for it to debut at #1 on the Hot 100. I don't recall it getting many streams and it has just taken off on radio so it might just barely scrape the top 50 on radio next week. The highest it will debut at on the Hot 100 is I would say #5. My prediction is that it will sell 350k - 360k don't ask me why.

He replied to imbondz who was hoping for a tenth week at #1 for Happy and surely he wasn't talking about a tenth week on digital songs because Happy got that last week.

I bet Avril's "Hello Kitty" got a lot of negative views. It was like watching a train wreck.
I'm surprised to see Marilyn Monroe in the top 10 US as Come Get it Bae is the new US single.

"New number one?" I'm scared...I hope something viral I was unaware of doesn't dethrone Happy before it gets 10 weeks at #1...hell I hope something viral doesn't ever do it, having like approximately 0 sales and airplay.
