Doesn't Billboard have a rule about multiple songs appearing in one video for streaming points? the guy video only counted for guy. If they change now then manicure should have charted too. Maybe Venus too

It's a win-win situation for AOM I guess. Either it will get to #1 or land among songs that spent the most weeks at #2 without getting to #1 (although arguably the second one isn't really a good thing, since it was so close yet so far from being #1...) however as the article said the gap is being bridged so since Happy is falling notably harder than All of Me in streaming and airplay and about the same or a little bit harder in sales I think AOM should be #1 next week. If the label was smart this would have been the week "All of Me" sold for 69 cents on iTunes.

Lol not necessarily...I think AOM still has a pretty good chance of squeezing in a week or two at #1 before Fancy takes over.

Pharrell and John Legend are both on the same label so they aren't going to use the same tactics so either artist can get an advantage.

That segment alone shot All I Do Is Win into the Top 30 on iTunes. Amazing. And "Hook," which came out 20 years ago and peaked at 23 on the Hot 100, to #68 on iTunes. ooh I like Hook! yay cool

Dark Horse back in the top 3...looks like it's pretty much guaranteed to be Katy's first song to crack 40 weeks on the Hot 100...maybe it will even get a year on the chart...

I just checked the iTunes top 100 and "Loyal" is #85... why is it so high on the Hot 100, streaming? radio? I don't get it. I presume it's those but also all the versions: 85. Chris Brown - Loyal (West Coast Version) [feat. Lil Wayne & Too $hort] 117. Chris Brown - Loyal (feat. Lil Wayne & Tyga) 322. Chris Brown - Loyal (East Coast Version) [feat. Lil Wayne & French Montana] 397. Chris Brown - Loyal (East Coast Version) [feat. Lil Wayne & French Montana] 1238. Chris Brown - Loyal (feat. Lil Wayne & Tyga) Combined they add up to 11.88% of Problem, which puts it at #27 not counting multiple versions of other songs.

Chart Watch: Pharrell Steps UpPharrell Williams's "Happy" tops the Hot 100 for the 10th week. As you all know, Williams was featured last year on Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," which spent 12 weeks on top. Williams is the first artist in chart history who was featured on a song that was #1 for 10 or more weeks to later step up to a lead role on another hit of that magnitude. It worked the other way around for another artist with the same surname, Michelle Williams. She and her fellow members of Destiny's Child were #1 for 11 weeks in 2000-2001 with "Independent Women Part I," after which she was featured on Nelly's "Dilemma" (10 weeks at #1 in 2002). Since 1955, just four other artists (besides Pharrell Williams and Michelle Williams) have logged 10 or more weeks at #1 with two or more hits. Boyz II Men stayed on top that long with three hits, "I'll Make Love To You," "End Of The Road" and "One Sweet Day," an equal-billing collaboration with Mariah Carey. Carey also scored with a hit of her own, "We Belong Together." The other two acts are The Black Eyed Peas ("I Gotta Feeling" and "Boom Boom Pow") and Beyonce (the aforementioned Destiny's Child hit and her own "Irreplaceable"). Williams' 10-week run at #1 is the longest for a song that was nominated for an Oscar, but didn't win, in 71 years. The last time that an Oscar also-ran spent 10 or more weeks at #1 was in 1943, when Harry James and his Orchestra's recording of "I've Heard That Song Before" logged 13 weeks at #1. The song originated in the 1942 movie "Youth On Parade." James's recording reached #1 on March 6, 1943—two days after the Oscars were presented at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub in Los Angeles. So the song's long run at #1 came too late to impress Oscar voters. But it probably wouldn't have mattered, anyway. The song was up against what many consider to be the biggest hit of all time—Bing Crosby's "White Christmas." "Happy" also lost to a massively popular song, "Let It Go" from "Frozen." "Let It Go" hasn't been as big a hit single as "Happy" is, but the combined success of the "Frozen" movie, DVD and soundtrack have made up for it. "Happy" is #1 on Hot Digital Songs for an 11th week, with sales of 208K. It's the first song to spend 11 weeks at #1 on this chart since "Low" by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain logged 13 weeks on top in 2007-2008. "Happy" is also #1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for the 12th week. John Legend's "All Of Me" holds at #2 for the sixth straight week. "Happy" held a 16% lead over "All Of Me" in total Hot 100 points last week. This week, "Happy" leads by just 5%. "All Of Me" moves up to #1 on the Radio Songs chart, ending an eight-week run on top by "Happy." "All Of Me" tops the 3 million mark in digital sales this week. It's by far Legend's biggest hit. His previous best-seller, "Green Light," has sold 1,242,000 copies. "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J rebounds from #4 to #3. Perry has a second song in the top 40: "Birthday" vaults from #83 to #37 in its third week. "Talk Dirty" by Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz dips from #3 to #4. The song this week becomes the third song (following "Happy" and "Dark Horse") to sell 3M copies in 2014. "Turn Down For What" by DJ Snake & Lil Jon jumps from #7 to #5. It's Lil Jon's biggest hit in more than eight years—since "Lovers & Friends" by Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz featuring Usher & Ludacris logged three weeks at #3 in early 2005. "Turn Down For What" is #1 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs for a fifth week. "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX leaps from #18 to #7. Azalea is the first female rapper to land a top 10 hit (as a lead artist) since Nicki Minaj hit #5 in June 2012 with "Starships." Billboard's Gary Trust notes that Azalea is only the third female rapper to reach the top 10 with her first Hot 100 hit since 2000. She follows Lil Mama, whose "Lip Gloss" hit #10 in June 2007, and M.I.A., whose "Paper Planes" reached #4 in September 2008. Azalea could land another top 10 hit next week: Ariana Grande's "Problem," which features Azalea, is expected to sell more than 300K digital copies in its first week, which could translate to a top 10 debut on the Hot 100. Stay tuned. Azalea's debut album, "The New Classic," enters The Billboard 200 at #3 this week. "Fancy" is the second top 10 hit for featured artist Charli XCX, following Icona Pop's "I Like It," which peaked at #7 a year ago. Notably, both hits are all-female collabos. Here's a recap of this week's top 10 songs. The Top Five: Pharrell Williams's "Happy" holds at #1 for the 10th week in its 17th week on the chart. This is its 13th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #1 (208K) … John Legend's "All Of Me" holds at #2 for the sixth week in its 29th week on the chart. This is its 10th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #2 (187K) … "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J rebounds from #4 to #3 in its 32nd week on the chart. This is its 17th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #7 (104K) …"Talk Dirty" by Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz dips from #3 to #4 in its 19th week on the chart. This is its 14th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #3 (145K) … "Turn Down For What" by DJ Snake & Lil Jon jumps from #7 to #5 in its 18th week on the chart. This is its fifth week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #5 (131K). The Second Five: Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" dips from #5 to #6 in its 22nd week on the chart. This is its seventh week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #4 (133K) … "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX jumps from #18 to #7 in its eighth week on the chart. This is Azalea's first top 10 hit; Charli XCX's second. Digital sales rank: #6 (108K) … Bastille's "Pompeii" drops from #6 to #8 in its 37th week on the chart. This is its 14th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #17 (65K) … Justin Timberlake's "Not A Bad Thing" dips from #8 to #9 in its ninth week on the chart. This is its second week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #9 (87K) … "Loyal" by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne & French Montana or Too $hort or Tyga dips from #9 to #10 in its 15th week on the chart. This is its second week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #28 (52K)/ Lorde's "Team" ends a 14-week run in the top 10. This is the first time that Lorde hasn't had a song in the top 10 since last August. Let's keep an eye on two other songs that are listed in the top 10 on Hot Digital Songs. Luke Bryan's "Play It Again" inches up from #9 to #8 on that chart (96K). Ed Sheeran's "Sing" drops from #8 to #10 (80K). "Sing" jumped from #15 to #14 on last week's Hot 100, switching places with "Play It Again." Sara Bareilles's "Brave" tops the 2 million mark in digital sales this week. It's her second song to reach this plateau. "Love Song" has sold 3,717,000 copies since its release in 2007. "Brave" received a Grammy nomination for Best Solo Pop Performance. There was a minor controversy last year in which some pundits said that Katy Perry's "Roar" was a rip of "Brave." The kerfuffle gave "Brave" a second wind—and it hardly stopped "Roar," which has sold 5,313,000 copies. Brantley Gilbert lands his first million-seller as "Bottoms Up" tops the 1 million mark in digital sales. Gilbert has two other songs that are extremely close: "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" (999K) and "Country Must Be Country Wide" (985K). Two other songs top the 1 million mark this week: Imagine Dragons's "On Top Of The World" and "This Is How We Roll" by Florida Georgia Line featuring Luke Bryan. It's Imagine Dragons' fourth million-seller from "Night Visions." at Paul Grein confusing Michelle Williams with Kelly Rowland

Lol I was in uni September to December (just finished my January to April co op term) and it was my jam, but then a few weeks into January it just plummeted on my chart haha...it was weird how it was still one of my favorite songs one week and the following week I just didn't listen to it at all pretty much lol...good memories

Chart Watch: Paramore’s Breakthrough By Paul Grein 13 minutes ago Chart Watch
Paramore lands its first top 20 hit as "Ain't It Fun" leaps from #21 to #14 in its ninth week on the Hot 100. Lead singer Hayley Williams has notched two top 20 hits as a featured artist, B.o.B's "Airplanes" (#2 in 2010) and Zedd's "Stay The Night" (#18 in 2013). Paramore's biggest hits before this were "The Only Exception" and "Still Into You." Both songs reached #24.
This week's big chart news is Pharrell Williams's "Happy" notching its 10th week at #1. I covered this, and the rest of the top 10 action, in a Chart Watch blog that we posted Wednesday. If you missed it, here's a link. This blog is a look at key movers and debuts below the top 10.
American Authors's "Best Day Of My Life" rebounds from #13 to #11 in its 24th week, matching its highest ranking to date.
Luke Bryan's "Play It Again" holds at #15 for the second week in its seventh week. The song reached #14 two weeks ago. Digital sales rank: #8 (96K). The song logs its third week at #1 on Hot Country Songs. Bryan has headed this chart for 24 weeks since last summer. The streak started in August with "That's My Kind Of Night" (12 weeks at #1) and has continued with "Drink A Beer" (five weeks), Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll," on which he was featured (four weeks) and now "Play It Again." Ed Sheeran's "Sing" drops from #14 to #16 in its third week. Digital sales rank: #10 (80K).
It's another big week for British pop sensation Sam Smith. Naughty Boy's "La La La," on which he is featured, jumps from #26 to #19 in its 10th week. Disclosure's "Latch," on which he is also featured, moves up from #59 to #57 in its sixth week. Smith's own "Stay With Me" leaps from #93 to #67 in its third week. Finally, Josh Kaufman's version of "Stay With Me" is the week's second highest new entry at #92. Kaufman is a contestant on "The Voice." Calvin Harris appears to be headed for his fifth top 20 hit as "Summer" leaps from #44 to #26 in its sixth week … MTKO's "Classic" jumps from #39 to #27 in its 11th week … Rixton's "Me And My Broken Heart" jumps from #41 to #29 in its fifth week … "Wild Wild Love" by Pitbull featuring G.R.L. jumps from #43 to #35 in its ninth week … Katy Perry's "Birthday" vaults from #83 to #37 in its third week.
Future has two singles on the move. Both are from his sophomore album, "Honest," which enters The Billboard 200 at #2 this week. "Move That Doh" (featuring Pharrell, Pusha T & Casino) jumps from #56 to #46 in its seventh week. "I Won" (featuring Kanye West) debuts at #100. Neon Trees's "Sleeping With A Friend" jumps from #60 to #51 in its ninth week. The group's third album, "Pop Psychology," enters The Billboard 200 at #6 this week … Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong" vaults from #91 to #54 in its second week … Coldplay's "Midnight" leaps from #84 to #65 in its second week. It may eclipse the group's other charted hit, "Magic," which jumps from #66 to #59 in its eighth week. "Magic" has climbed as high as #24 … Shakira's "Empire" leaps from #97 to #71 in its fifth week. The song has climbed as high as #58 … KONGOS's "Come With Me Now" jumps from #85 to #74 in its fourth week.
Avril Lavigne's "Hello Kitty" is the week's top new entry at #75. It's the fourth chart hit from her fifth studio album, "Avril Lavigne." This marks the first time a Lavigne album has spawned four Hot 100 hits since her 2002 debut, "Let Go." But three of the four "Let Go" singles made the top 10, while none of the "Avril Lavigne" singles have. The first, "Here's To Never Growing Up," cracked the top 20, but the two-follow-ups didn't even reach the top 40. Phillip Phillips's "Raging Fire" re-enters the chart at #81. The song has climbed as high as #58. … Chris Young's "Who I Am With You" debuts at #94. It's the second Hot 100 single from Young's fourth studio album, "A.M." … Billy Currington's "We Are Tonight" debuts at #96. It's the second Hot 100 single (and title track) from his fifth studio album.
MAGIC!'s "Rude" debuts at #97. It's the Canadian band's debut single. The song has been a hit in Canada, Australia and New Zealand … Joe Nichols's "Yeah" debuts at #98. It's the second Hot 100 single from Nichols's eighth studio album, "Crickets" … Craig Morgan's "Wake Up Lovin' You" debuts at #99. It's from his 2013 compilation "The Journey (Livin' Hits)."

It's a win-win situation for All of Me, as it will score an amazing achievement whether or not it reaches number one (although it seems like Happy will cede the summit this coming week and All of Me will be number one for two or three weeks before Fancy likely takes over). If it hits #1 this week, it will be the third longest ever climb to number one and if it doesn't, it will quite likely tie or break the record for the most weeks at #2 without ever hitting number one. Either way, it will make the Wikipedia page and set a significant achievement. I think it was good timing on performing the song at the Grammy awards to send it up the charts then.

How many weeks has All Of Me been at #2 now? IIRC the record is currently held by a Foreigner song

And the record is a tie between the Foreigner song and Missy Elliot's "Work It" (10 weeks each at #2 without hitting #1, so AOM is just 4 weeks away from tying the record if it doesn't get to #1 which I doubt).
