We know 35 positions of the Hot 100 tonight. Last week at this time, we had 50 :/ 36…Billboard mentioned in their article that "La La La" slid 29-41 this week. But yeah, Paul seemed a little lighter than usual on chart numbers. Maybe there just isn't much exciting movement this week?

I can't wait for hangover to debut at #1 next week due to streams Gentleman didn't debut at #1 (and that was an actual single!) so Hangover won't either. I think redseagulls was joking.

Azalea is the first artist to hold down the top two spots on the Hot 100 with her first two chart hits since the Beatles in 1964. Azalea, 24, wasn't impressed when she heard that stat. "It doesn't mean anything," she told Billboard. "I'd rather be the Rolling Stones." Cheeky or rude? You decide.
Iggy, I like you, but really? ??

All I Do Is Win was apart of a video with multiple songs. This is just a single song so it could chart with the streams alone. Whether it is under a music banner or not is what counts for its eligibility. It's not just the music banner, it's also that the song has to have enough points for the top 50 in order to chart. After the lipsync video AIDIW only had enough points to chart in the 80s. The All By Myself video isn't that big (40k+ views in one day - see www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9XLWrCi6DE) so the song has no chance of re-entering. Wait, so how does this jive with Billie Jean being at 14 with practically no streams apart from the kid dancing and no sales?

I'd really like to see the full question and answer, I hate when quotes like that are pulled out of full context. If the question was "Does this mean you're as big as the Beatles?" then it's a humble answer, if the question was "Are you proud of having the top 2 songs?" then it's cocky and rude.

@markg94 I think radio was late with those songs though. Give me everything deserved to be #1 for 6 consecutive weeks not just 1. GME was instant and made the top 10 on itunes quickly (on the second week of its release date), so radio had to over play it since March in order to reach #1 in May and avoid to compete with Rolling in the deep in June. Timber, on the other hand, was never #1 on the radio and suffered for airplay in December. The monster and Counting stars were getting the higher airplay.

GME definitely had the potential for quite a few weeks at #1 (8 weeks in the top 2 IIRC) but it had tough competition from RITD and afterwards PRA, both of whom prevented it from getting more than that one week at number one. It was really lucky to get that one week at number one (and I was relieved at that since I was waiting for RITD to get off already after so many weeks at number one and I knew PRA was coming up fast) due to its radio success as its sales were weak compared to RITD in the first few weeks and compared to PRA in the next few. And Timber started to crash quite soon in radio, I admit. But it started that to crash in sales as well not too long afterwards. And it was #1 on Pop radio for 3 weeks, which is pretty good and as well a #2 peak on overall AI since you can't really expect much from other formats WRT this song as it doesn't suit them much whereas Counting Stars was an all-ages track great for Pop as well as HAC and AC (and to some extent Rhythmic and AAA). I'm excluding The Monster because it fell off of #1 before Timber peaked and Timber was blocked by Counting Stars. GME was more appropriate for good HAC and Rhythmic success as well as moderate AC success (probably Latin Urban too, although that doesn't account for much). IIRC, Back In Time, International Love, and Rain Over Me had extensive support from radio with rather weak sales (correct me if I'm wrong) which shows that radio is in fact trying to help him rather than ignoring the tracks that people want to hear. Overall he has had his good share of quite successful songs so it's not like he's exactly being shunned by radio or public so don't say he's underappreciated or anything. Many people including myself dig some of his tracks. Man, that took a long time to type lol.

So "This is how we roll" will return to #1 on the country songs chart because a new remix includes an R&B artist. SMH This ain't the music world I grew up in, that's for sure.

LOL - look again
Your daily radio charts have absolutely nothing to do with the airplay chart that feeds the Hot 100. However, this one does.

@markg94 back in time had strong sales, so it made the top 11 on billboard. It peaked at #4 on iTunes and remained in the top 10 for 2 months, yet radio only gave it 64 million AI despite it was outselling where have u been when they were competing on iTunes. International love was also another strong seller with low airplay! It peaked at #6 on iTunes and remained steady. And timber was always above counting stars and the monster on itunes, so radio should have given it priority to Timber because it was clearly the most popular, but nope, they insisted in overplaying other songs when timber was the song they had to over play the most! On gme: it was a strong seller too. Rolling in the deep had advantage cause was performed it on American idol and others tv shows, but the gap between those songs were not that big, so give me everything ended up at #1. :)

www.billboard.com/biz/articles/news/chart-alert/6121297/chart-moves-florida-georgia-line-on-a-roll-with-jason-deruloChart Moves: Florida Georgia Line On A 'Roll' With Jason Derulo Remix; Jamie N Commons, X Ambassadors Surge Thanks To Beats, 'Orange Is The New Black' Synchs; Ricky Martin's 'Vida' Vaults By Gary Trust | June 13, 2014 As previously reported, Iggy Azalea spends a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX, while holding at No. 2 as a guest on Ariana Grande's "Problem." Plus, Sam Smith soars 19-10 with "Stay With Me," his first top 10. Who else does anything but stay put on Billboard song charts this week? -- Florida Georgia Line: Atop Hot Country Songs, Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll," featuring Luke Bryan (2-1), halts an eight-week run at No. 1 for Bryan's Luke "Play It Again" (1-2). "Roll," which previously led the survey for four straight frames in March/April, rebounds with Digital Gainer stripes (130,000 sold, up 130 percent, according to Nielsen SoundScan), with more than half of those sales (55 percent) from its new pop remix featuring Jason Derulo. The three acts performed "Roll" as part of a medley, with ZZ Top, to open the June 4 CMT Music Awards. On the Hot 100, "Roll" roars to a new peak (26-15). "Roll" marks the second FGL summer remix of a hit with a pop/R&B act. Last year, the duo added rapper Nelly to its debut hit "Cruise," helping it reach No. 4 on the Hot 100 and No. 7 on Mainstream Top 40. Aided by its reinvention, "Cruise" topped Hot Country Songs for a record 24 weeks. -- Katy Perry: Perry propels to an unprecedented 14th consecutive Dance Club Songs No. 1 with "Birthday" (3-1). Also Perry's 14th total topper, "Birthday" ties her with Jennifer Lopez for the eighth-most No. 1s in the chart's 38-year history; Madonna leads with 43. Remixes from Cash Cash, Mark Picchiotti, Wayne G, and Mike Rizzo, among others, helped Perry reach the pinnacle. (On the Hot 100, "Birthday" drops from its No. 17 highpoint to No. 22.) -- Nicki Minaj: She captures her 17th top 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, as "Pills N Potions" pops 11-10. (It's back 42-43, but with a bullet, on the Hot 100.) The climb extends her record for the most top 10s by a female rapper; Missy Elliott is second with 12. "Pills" pushes 21-19 on Rap Streaming Songs with a 16 percent gain to 1.8 million streams, according to Nielsen BDS. Views from the official lyric videos on Minaj's Vevo on YouTube channel account for 62 percent of overall streams. Streams from the song's official music video released on June 9 will impact next issue's charts. -- Little Big Town: The quartet posts a career-high debuts on best-ever debuts on Country Digital Songs (No. 6), Hot Country Songs (No. 22) and Country Airplay (No. 32) with "Day Drinking," which starts with 48,000 sold. (It enters the Hot 100 at No. 87.) The foursome premiered the new song on the CMT Music Awards and performed it June 7 at a sold-out concert at Nashville's LP Field as part of the CMA Music Festival. Little Big Town will serve as the host act of the annual ABC special "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock," which airs Aug. 5 and includes performances taped during the four-day event. "Drinking" introduces the group's sixth studio album, for which no release date or title has yet been announced. -- Imagine Dragons: The band scores its fourth top 10 on Hot Rock Songs, as "On Top of the World" rises 12-10. (It bullets at No. 90 on the Hot 100 after reaching No. 79.) The group also debuts "Battle Cry," written for the "Transformers: Age of Extinction" soundtrack, at No. 50 on Hot Rock Songs. Imagine Dragons worked with composers Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer to create the track. -- Linkin Park: The band notches the Hot Shot Debut on Hot Rock Songs with "Rebellion," featuring Daron Malakian of System of a Down (No. 21). On Hard Rock Digital Songs, the track marks the band's fifth leader. The group holds the latter list's top three slots, as "Wastelands" rises 3-2 and "Final Masquerade" debuts at No. 3. This marks the first time an act has achieved the feat with new material, and first occurrence since AC/DC first made its music available for digital sale and controlled Nos. 1-3 over seven weeks in 2012-13. All three songs appear on Linkin Park's "The Hunting Party," due Tuesday (June 17). -- Jamie N Commons and X Ambassadors: After spending two weeks, charting as high as No. 40, on Hot Rock Songs in late April, Jamie N Commons and X Ambassadors' "Jungle" re-enters at No. 20 with 86 percent of its chart points from digital sales (19,000, up from a nominal amount the prior week). The resurgence in sales of the Alex Da Kid-produced song can likely be attributed to its placement in an episode and trailer for the second season of the Netflix original series "Orange is the New Black"; the trailer for Paramount's forthcoming film "Welcome to Yesterday"; and a synch in a five-minute World Cup commercial for Beats Electronics. Both blues rocker Commons and alt-rock band X Ambassadors are signed to Alex Da Kid's KidinaKORNER imprint, a subsidiary of Interscope (and home to Imagine Dragons). Commons previously appeared on Hot Rock Songs with "Lead Me Home" (peaking at No. 38) in March 2013. Both Commons and X Ambassadors also collaborated with Eminem on "The Marshall Mathers LP 2." -- Three Days Grace: The band scores its 11th Mainstream Rock No. 1, as "Painkiller" climbs 2-1. Dating to the chart's March 21, 1981, launch, the band breaks a tie with Tom Petty (10 No. 1s; four solo and six with the Heartbreakers) and trails only Van Halen, which leads with 13 No. 1s. "Painkiller" previews Three Days Grace's fifth studio album and first with lead singer Matt Walst following last year's departure of Adam Gontier. Walst doubles as the lead singer of My Darkest Days and is the brother of Three Days Grace co-founder Brad Walst. -- Tito "El Bambino": He scores his eighth No. 1 on Billboard's Tropical Airplay chart, as "El Gran Perdedor" jumps 6-1. The bachata/pop track rises by 73 percent in plays, according to Nielsen BDS. He'd last scaled the chart in November 2013 when "Carnaval" spent a week at No. 1. "Perdedor" will appear on his new album "Alta Jerarquía," due in the fall.
