SHeDAISY's 2001 hit, Lucky 4 You Tonight I'm Just Me should have hit the top ten so their first four singles would have been top tens. It followed: Little Good-Byes (1999-#3), This Woman Needs (2000-#9), and I Will...But (2000-#2).

There would NOT have been any #11 hits last year had Lady Antebellum's Goodbye Town did not stop just short of a top ten placing.

Buck Owens would have had a top ten hit on the Warner Bros. label had Play Together Again Again (with Emmylou Harris) hit that region of the chart in 1979.

Feel Like A Rock Star was a #11 duet between Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw in 2012. It was the first miss of the top ten for Chesney since The Tin Man in 2001 (#19). Had it reached the top ten, McGraw would have had top tens on four labels: Curb, Warner Bros., BNA, and Big Machine.

The Eli Young Band would have had their first top ten in 2009 had Always The Love Songs hit that plateau. However, they had to wait until 2011 when Crazy Girl became their first #1 hit.

Linkin Park - "Leave Out All the Rest" crapped out at #11. If it went top 10, then they would have the first band to have two albums with five top ten hits.

Lady Antebellum would have gone three for three with their debut CD had Lookin' For A Good Time hit the top ten in 2009. It would have joined Love Don't Live Here (#3 in 2008) and I Run To You (#1 in 2009).

Martina McBride would have ended her RCA era (1991-2010) on a top ten note had Wrong Baby Wrong hit there in 2010. That's probably my favorite female country song so far in the 10s. I don't mind it being 11 as it's my favorite number, but I always thought it had Top 5 potential back then.

Did you know that George Jones only had one #11 hit and that was "I'll Just Take It Out In Love" from 1978? This should have been an automatic Top 10.
Lyrics says it all: "I've been a daddy to your children and I dried your tears when you were sad."

1986 will go down as the year where there was a different #1 for every week. It would have been #11 free had Out Goin' Cattin' decided to be a top ten for Sawyer Brown and Joe Bonsall.

Travis Tritt would have had at least three top tens off his first three CDs had Looking Out For Number One hit the top ten in 1993. His first CD, Country Club had four top tens. His second, It's All About To Change matched it and his third, T-R-O-U-B-L-E only had two.

Dwight Yoakam would have kept his streak of having his lead singles hit the top ten had Turn It On, Turn It Up, Turn Me Loose hit there in 1991 off the If There Was A Way CD. He hit the top ten in 1986 with Honky Tonk Man (#3 off the Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. CD), #7 in 1987 with Little Sister (Hilllbilly Deluxe), and Streets Of Bakersfield, his chart topping duet with Buck Owens off his 1988 CD, Buenas Noches From A Lonely Room.

Clay Walker's self-titled debut CD of 1993 would have contained a quartet of top tens had Where Do I Fit In The Picture reached there in 1994. It would have joined chart toppers What's It To You (1993), Live Until I Die (1994), and Dreaming With My Eyes Open (1994).

Loretta Lynn would have started the 1970s on a top ten note had Wings Upon You Horns hit there in 1970. Ironically, Lynn would win the Artist of the Decade Award for the 1970s from the A.C.M..

Norma Jean will always be remembered as the woman Dolly Parton replaced on the Porter Wagoner Show in 1967. However, Jean's Let's Go All The Way in 1964 would have started her career on a top ten note had it hit there.

Atlanta would have had three consecutive top tens had Dixie Dreaming from 1983 reached that section of the chart. The one before that was Atlanta Burned Again Last Night (#9 in 1983) and the one after was Sweet Country Music (#5 in 1984).

Jerry Reed would have charted consecutive top tens for the first time had Ko-Ko Joe hit there in 1971. It was the follow up to his biggest hit, When You're Hot, You're Hot.

There would not have been any #11 hits in 1985 if She Used To Love Me A Lot by David Allan Coe not peaked there.

Mickey Gilley would have had 14 consecutive solo top tens during the 1970s had Bouquet Of Roses hit there in 1975. It would have returned to the top ten for a second time as the original by Eddy Arnold was a #1 in 1948.

Pam Tillis would have had a quartet of top tens from her first Arista CD, Put Yourself In My Place had the title track hit there in 1991. The others that made the top ten were: 1. Don't Tell Me What To Do-1991-#5 2. One Of Those Things-1991-#6 3. Maybe It Was Memphis-1992-#3-her vocal masterpiece, period!

Just for sabre14 (and everyone else): Had the Hard Way by Mary Chapin Carpenter hit the top ten in 1993, The Come On, Come On CD would have had a quintet of top ten hits. The others: 1. I Feel Lucky-1992-#4 2. Passionate Kisses-1993-#4 3. He Thinks He'll Keep Her-1994-#2 4. I Take My Chances-1994-#2
