Same premise as my A #2 that should have been a #1. Tell me why you feel a #11 country hit should have been a top ten. I will give you an example. Ready?
Kenny Rogers' If You Want To Find Love from 1992 should have hit the top ten so he would have had top tens in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s.

^ Good idea. :)
* "The Seashores Of Old Mexico" - George Strait (2006)
* "Love Done Gone" - Billy Currington (2011)
* "Sounds Like Life To Me - Darryl Worley (2009)
-----------------------------------------------------
Some that got to #11 on Billboard but top 10 on R&R/MB. ;)
* "Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)" - Big & Rich (#7 on R&R in 2004)
* "As If" - Sara Evans (#10 on MB in 2007)
* "Good Little Girls" - Blue County (#9 on R&R in 2004)
* "Eight Second Ride" - Jake Owen (#9 on MB in 2010)
* "Where I'm From" - Jason Michael Carroll (#10 on MB in 2009)
* "Ride" - Martina McBride (#10 on MB in 2009)
* "Always The Love Songs" (#10 on MB in 2009)
* "Strange" - Reba McEntire (#10 on MB in 2009)
* "It's Good To Be Us" - Bucky Covington (#9 on MB in 2008)
* "Johnny And June" - Heidi Newfield (#8 on MB in 2008)
* "One Wing In The Fire" - Trent Tomlinson (#10 on MB in 2007)
* "Tough" - Craig Morgan (#9 on MB in 2007)
* "Wrong Baby Wrong" - Martina McBride (#10 on MB in 2010)

As If, Wrong Baby Wrong, and Johnny and June should've definitely made Top 10 imo. Those three are some of my favorites. A lot of those songs I like though; the outlier is "Eight Second Ride," which is awful. And I don't really care for the Darryl Worley or EYB songs either.

The one that always bugged me was "Strange" by Reba McEntire.
Also:
"Ride" and especially "Wrong Baby Wrong" - Martina McBride "It Was" - Chely Wright

Thank God I've been a follower of R&R/MB for much of my life, so I can enjoy the fact that "As If", "Tough", "Save A Horse", and "Always The Love Songs" went top 10. ;) But most are comfortable with Billboard here, so it would have been nice to see those go top 10 on both. Most of them were super close calls BTW. Sara's got to #10 on MB because of Garth going recurrent after three bulletless weeks in a row. He remained on Billboard, causing Sara to stay at #11.

Jon Pardi - "Up All Night". I recall that all it had to do was stand pat to make the top 10 but it lost a crapload of AI or something like that.

Ronnie Milsap's All Is Fair In Love And War from 1992 should have hit the top ten so he would have had an even 50 top ten hits.

Being a big Clay Walker fan, I'd say "Where Do I Fit In The Picture" and "Live, Laugh, Love".
Another not saying it should've lol, but I was suprised when "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" didn't hit top 10, as that a song that is probably one of Kenny's most known.

Forgot about "Still Holdin' On" by Clint and Martina. And looking up Clint's singles, noticed this was his first to not hit top 10 (according to Wikipedia...) Kinda surprised me.

Holly Dunn would have ended her MTM years on a top ten note in early 1989 if It's Always Gonna Be Someday made it there. After all, MTM folded and Dunn found more success at Warner Bros..

Only Love Can Save Me Now was a #11 hit for Crystal Gayle in 1988. Had that hit the top ten, she would have had top tens in fourteen consecutive years (1975-1988).

Vince Gill has a #11 hit from 1988 called Everybody's Sweetheart. Had that hit the top ten, it would have been his fourth on RCA following: 1. If It Weren't For Him-1985-#10 2. Oklahoma Borderline-1986-#9 3. Cinderella-1987-#5 If you were to take a look at the years, it would have been his fourth consecutive year of having a top ten.

Today is a buy one, get one free day because the reasoning applies to BOTH artists. Ready? BlackHawk's Goodbye Says It All (1994) and the Tractors Baby Likes To Rock It (1994) should have hit the top ten so they could have joined Diamond Rio as the other Arista groups to start their careers on a top ten note. Diamond Rio did it in 1991 with their chart topping Meet In The Middle in 1991.

Let's pick on both #11 hits George Strait has had: Tell Me Something Bad About Tulsa (2003) and The Seashores Of Old Mexico (2006). Had those hit the top ten, Strait would have 88 top tens, pushing him closer to Eddy Arnold's all-time mark of 92.

Eddy Arnold would have had 93 top tens had Don't Look Now But We Just Fell In Love hit the top ten in 1981.

Shania Twain's decade of dominance (1995-2005) would have started on a top ten note had Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under hit the top ten in 1995. Her next single, Any Man Of Mine just blew the roof off for her.

Mama's Rockin' Chair by John Conlee from 1987 should have hit the top ten for two reasons: 1. His first five Columbia releases would have been top tens. 2. He would have ended his hitmaking stretch on a top ten note.

Still Holding On was a #11 hit for Clint Black and Martina McBride in 1997. If that hit the top ten, the following would have happened: 1. Black's streak of top tens would have been at 28 going back to A Better Man (#1 in 1989) to The Shoes You're Wearing (#1 in 1998). 2. It would have been Black's second top ten duet following A Bad Goodbye with Wynonna Judd (#2 in 1993). 3. It would have been McBride's first top ten duet. 4. She would have had nine consecutive top tens starting with that duet and ending with There You Are (#10 in 2000).

Kenny Chesney had a #11 hit in 2000 with She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy. Had that hit the top ten, the following would have happened: 1. The Everywhere We Go CD would have been his first with a quartet of top ten hits. First two singles hit #1: How Forever Feels, his biggest hit of the 1990s and You Had Me From Hello (both 1999). His fourth single was What I Need To Do in 2000 (#8). 2. He would have had six consecutive top tens beginning with How Forever Feels and ending with Don't Happen Twice (#1 in 2001).

There are a lot of good songs being mentioned but my hands down pick would have to be a more recent song. It should've been a #1 hit easily. That song is 19 You+ Me by Dan + Shay!

Reba McEntire has one #11 hit and that is Strange from 2009. Had that hit the top ten, the following would have happened: 1. She would have started her career at Valory on a top ten note. 2. Her first four singles at Valory would have been top tens. She followed Strange with Consider Me Gone (2010-#1 and chart wise, her biggest hit), I Keep On Loving You (2010-#7), and Turn On The Radio (2011-#1).

Tennessee Flat Top Box by Johnny Cash in 1962 should have hit the top ten so that song would have seen that section of the chart twice. His daughter, Rosanne Cash took it to #1 in 1988.

Look What Followed Me Home was a #11 hit for David Ball in 1995. Had that hit the top ten, all of his top 40 hits would have been top tens. The other three are: 1. Thinkin' Problem-1994-#2 2. When The Thought Of You Catches Up With Me-1994-#7 3. Riding With Private Malone-2001-#2-chart wise, his biggest hit

What Kind Of Love by Rodney Crowell from 1992 should have hit the top ten so Crowell could have ended his hit making stretch on a top ten note.

Mark Chesnutt had a #11 hit in 2002 with She Was. If that hit the top ten, the following would have happened: 1. He would have had top tens in the 1990s and 2000s. 2. He would have had top tens on two labels: MCA/Decca and Columbia.

One of those songs that once it went recurrent, it was never heard from again. I believe though it was on a Totally Country compilation album.

The track listing: 1. Modern Day Bonnie And Clyde - Travis Tritt 2. I Breathe In, I Breathe Out - Chris Cagle 3. Just What I Do - Trick Pony 4. My Town - Montgomery Gentry 5. That's When I Love You - Phil Vassar 6. The Best Day - George Strait 7. But for the Grace of God - Keith Urban 8. Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo - Tracy Bird 9. Ol' Red - Blake Shelton 10. Life Happened - Tammy Cochran 11. The One - Gary Allan 12. She Was - Mark Chesnutt 13. Wrapped Around - Brad Paisley 14. The Impossible - Joe Nichols 15. I Don't Want You To Go - Carolyn Dawn Johnson 16. I'm Movin' On - Rascal Flatts 17. Ashes By Now - Lee Ann Womack Just looking at the CD cover, it said 17 chart topping hits. I would like to know what chart She Was was #1!

Let Me Into Your Heart by Mary Chapin Carpenter from 1997 should have been a top ten so her first five CDs would contain top tens: State Of The Heart, Shooting Straight In The Dark, Come On Come On, Stones In The Road, and A Place In The World.

Hello Trouble by the Desert Rose Band in 1989 should have hit the top ten so they could have had eight consecutive top tens from Love Reunited (1987-#6) to Start All Over Again (1990-#6).
