True, but at least they posted here, Laheyoncé still hasn't posted. Plus Codex and Zebra and suspicious to me as well, Codex is Maybe Town and Zebra is likley town. But I'm suspicious of all 3, but it's very unlikely all 3 Mafia is being quiet, that'd be a bad Stratagy imo. Laheyoncé is more suspicious than the others, but the others are suspicious as well.

Max did this as well. I still feel better about Max being scum (something about his role claim seems *really* convenient, claiming vanilla seems scummy because it's the easy way out, while claiming a useful power roll puts him in major danger of being night killed. What's the compromise? Claim a now use-less power roll. paper is in, let's hope i didn't flub it. supposedly it's one of those classes where you're guaranteed either a B+ or an A but you never know.

anyhoodle, this game, goodness. my thoughts are jumbled and a mess but here they are in all their messy glory -

- Max and Codex have both done one thing that irks me and that is not.pay.attention. now in a fast moving game this is forgivable; it is easy to miss things. this game however is not moving fast at all. like, there might have been two full pages of posts for each of them to catch up on at before commenting and yet they both chose to just stumble on to the last page and make statements/votes that inevitably looked scummy b/c they weren't taking into account the last few things that had been said.
- now with that said i have played with Max before and attention to detail truly is not his strong suit (no shade Max) so that is a small pass that i'm willing to consider. Codex on the other hand was very strange. not only did he skip over the recent posts but he seemed very hurried and almost panicked about it. tagging josh was even weirder; i'm going to assume he knew josh was online at the time but even so why would you specifically tag another player? that not only smells scummy but also smells like a setup - were you trying to frame josh to distract from your real partner(s)? i get the feeling you were reading through the thread, got to a certain page and saw max at L-2, and were a bit excited to get the lynch done quickly. if you're a mislynch i wouldn't even feel bad about it b/c that was just an inexcusably terrible move, i can't think of one single townie justification for doing what you did.
- Drag and Max can't be partners, Codex and Max can't be partners, Codex and Drag are likely not partners, Ginger just moved his vote to Max so Ginger/Max aren't likely partners.
- if Codex is scum I already have my ideas on who one of his partners is, same with Max.
- the biggest problem we have right now is focus. we just ran through three lynch bandwagons in less than 12 hours, that is ridiculous. but it's because we have several suspicions (or in scum's case, deflections) we want to make and so we just keep shuffling around in hopes that eventually we'll all shuffle to the same place. this would have been a really useful flurry of activity four days ago but now it's just distracting and ironically not leading anywhere, when we need a conclusion the most.

i'm leaving my vote on Codex but am not opposed to switching to Lahey just because I personally find any player who is heavily active on the rest of the board but can't even pop in here to say smell ya later' suspect.

I just said that I was on a 2 week vacation lol, I was tanning and swimming for 90% of the time since this game started, my time on the internet was spent playing Big Brother, I haven't even checked this weeks H100 yet. I started saying stuff today because 1. the weather turned shit

I don't know, Codex. The problem for me is that your reputation for smooth talk precedes you, so I don't know if I believe that role claim. I mean, I guess that could be a town role - or you could also be tweaking a scum role to make it sound town? I'm not sure - what is an identity thief anyway?

But I'm pretty certain you didn't mention it in here. This is not passing the smell test for me - it sounds like you are saying the vacation started just as this thread opened up, and you got home just in time to address the heat that's on you.

I found his claimed role on mafiawiki

The Thief is an informative role that targets one player each night to steal an item related to that player's role. They are told what they stole.
In essence, Thief is a flavorful Flavor Cop, and on occasion a permanent Roleblocker.
Thief is not necessarily pro-Town, but the Mafia usually has no need for a Thief instead of a Role Cop or Roleblocker. It usually only appears in games where roles each have some form of unique flavor.

So what I'm getting is that the role could be scum.

And I think you have had enough activity in the RT thread and games section that you could have at least popped in with more than a "dead" gif in three days, at least to say you;re away and will offer some sort of analysis later. to clarify on the bolded, my suggestion/theory was that Codex was reading through the thread and when he got to the page where Max was at L-2, he voted before reading the rest of the thread and tagged josh so josh could hammer, not realizing that some people had moved their votes later.

as for the role claim, he is still pretty much in the same boat as Max is - the title is definitely a Kunt-like title that fits the flavor and it's entirely possible that both are telling the truth about their title and the powers that come with their roles, but even with that their alignments could go either way.
