#38 23 Mike Will Made It feat Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J
Okay come one we all have a guilty pleasure, this little ratchet banger is mine. The first couple of times I said, no thank you. I'm not here for Miley or this nonsense. However lets be real MILEY fucking CYRUS made this song. It has nice beat and is fun lil diddy.
I have nothing to say about this but i enjoy getting my life to it and its cute. Trite or not its the kinda song you need to counter balance everything else you're listening to. It brings a little levity to your life.

#37 Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe Kendrick Lamar
A moody and introspective jam that struck with me right away, I use to love to just get into this and get right into it. I love intelligent rappers who bring more to the table than just the usual and standard. Kendrick on this and another song became a mainstay for me last year. If you ever partook in marijuana once in a blue then hey play this!
You know a song made a impact when its title has become a term used a lot last year, overused actually
"Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe"

#36 Lose To Win Fantasia
The first few listens I was like, meh, but then I got into the vocals and the inspirational story behind the song. Fantasia went through alot and even though she was wrong for fucking another womans husband, once she went through that whole suicide thing, I was over it. That was admission she knew she was wrong and let her move on people.
I always root for her because she is a soulful singer with one of the best live voices out there now. A power ballad with just a strong message and is one of my urban go to songs.
Her American Idol performance of this song is legendary.

#35 Dirty Laundry Kelly Rowland
Kelly Rowland bares her soul and lets it all out over a thumping beat. I love the brutal honesty and introspection vibe. She worked it all out on this urban banger and got all the girls talking.
Can I just say her album was slept on, so many great songs that never got released. Red Wine is one of the best urban non singles of the year btw.
"So here I am in the spin cycle We're coming and we're going Nobody can know this And I was trapped in his house, lying to my mama Thought it could get no worse as we maximize the drama Started to call them people on him I was battered He hitting the window like it was me, until it shattered He pulled me out, he said, "Don't nobody love you but me Not your mama, not your daddy and especially not B" He turned me against my sister I missed you"

#34 Baby I Ariana Grande
The best single from Ariana of her debut album, crossover candy cane stuff. Sweet and innocent and I love the tone. She reminds me of a young Ashanti and Jessica Simpson. This is a throwback to teen pop of back in the day and I love it for its nostalgia.
This was originally by Babyface for Beyonce but it was instead given to Ariana, I think Beyonce felt maybe it didnt give her vast range room or was songs she done left alone back in 2001.
Cute song, and a feel good song. I like it more today, than yesterday. Baby I>>>>The Way.

#33 We Can't Stop Miley Cyrus
Can i just say I love Miley so much now, like really love her energy and her album was lights out! Another song that grew on me so much and my second favorite Miley single. This is one of those songs that is perfect for the summer, or for a drive around Toronto.
Hella catchy, and like she says in the song " only god can judge us, forget the haters"
She has a free spirit, leave her alone! Miley can tone it down a bit , but her music is perfect right now to me.

I'll get back into the chart tomorrow sometime but there was MANY, too many , christmas songs released last year, I liked maybe 10 of them. My top 3 favs were easy
3- Toni Braxton- Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (solo version) I love Toni's sultry voice over anything.
2- Kelly Clarkson- Underneath The Tree melodically my favorite, i wish she sung it smoother instead of that sing-scream way, gorgeous song.
1- Leona Lewis- One More Sleep another upbeat , feel good x-mas song and vocally Leona always slays for me.

Great list so far! "Dirty Laundry" is one of my favorites of 2013. "Baby I" is one of my favorites from Ariana's album, along with "Honeymoon Avenue." Your Christmas top three is fantastic too.

#31 Holy Grail Jay-Z featuring Justin Timberlake
In the overall career of Jay-Z not the greatest song but in 2013 it still was a song that deserves love. The beat is what made me listen to it so much it goes really hard and Jay_Z signature flow is a bit diminished here but still strong. Justin Timberlake vocal assist is much needed here and I loved his parts the most. I was burnt out on Justin in 2013 but when he doesnt have to carry a 10 minute song he still the shit.

#30 Stay Rihanna featuring Mikky Ekko
The first Rihanna ballad since "Take A Bow" that i was able to get into. I will admit the first couple of listens i was like ummm no thank you. As time went on and I moved away from my pre determined judging of her vocals, I really got into the anthem feel of the song, it's really powerful. I actually have to Riri respect here because even though I'm not here for her tone, I felt the emotion she was emoting here.
It was a beautiful written and composed song and it really needed that feature guest vocal to assist.

29 Belong To The World The Weeknd
My Canadian little genious, I love the infusion of world music and genres going on here. Its giving me a quiet storm feel and love how his voice just so effortless carries through that big beat. Might sound crazy but its giving me something like you would find on the "Velvet Rope" but on steroids.
This song isnt for everyone but if you give it a chance and listen a few times, I'm sure a few people will be as hooked as I became.

#28 Black Skinheads Kanye West
Okay the beat, the production is beyond incredible, this is one the most interesting songs. Easily the best song on his otherwise disappointing album. I never want to see this live anymore but the studio version, is beyond genius.
His raps sometimes could be better but the production alone will make you wanna hit repeat over and over. Lyrically all over the map, spotty rap skills EPIC PRODUCTION.

#27 Dance Apocalyptic Janelle Monae
Now you B's know if "Electric Lady" was released as a single it would stay perched at #1 for me, but lucky for me she has quite a few #POW moments and this is one of the many. This is just a old school part song that is sure to get up and jumping each and every time. There are a PLETHORA of reasons why I love this woman but the energy and raw magnetic talent she brings is main. This is a perfect example of that as she just turns this song inside and out. Old school but fresh and always 100% Janelle
The video is just pure class and she is so sexy and beautiful without even trying. Her talents are the same, effortless and full of sunshine.
Come dance with me!

#26 White Noise Disclosure featuring AlunaGeorge
I have never listened to this song seated and not about to start. It has always had the ability to get me in a trace and moving. I love the all production elements and the entire vibe, but BABY i don't know who that girl is, but we love her voice. She make this song so hot along with that incredible beat.
Not much to say but this song stands out in 2013 for me because of its complete originality and danceability. I don't listen to generic dance music but I love dance music in general when its done right and its done right here.

Of the songs I know since I last commented (most of them) I enjoy all of them. I'm especially glad to see "XO", "Baby I", "V.S.O.P.", "Holy Grail", and "White Noise" represented here. Looking forward to more.

#25 Fine China Chris Brown
Oh Chrissy, I sometimes wanna smack you upside the head, but when you make a song like this you remind me why i like some of your music still. A throwback R&B bop served up ever so deliciously, this is the kind of non ratchet non pop shit I live for, a retro R&B song will always have me doing cartwheels.
I sequenced this song and "Nobody's Business" so they would play right after each other because I love both for that exact same reason, they gave me what I needed from R&B and lawd knows urban music could use more songs like this.
Hopefully one day his personality and attitude will catch up to his talent.

#24 Bad Wale Featuring Tiara Thomas
I really loved this song even more when it came out than #24 but over time it slipped a bit. A perfect urban ballad with a beat and I love the blend of their voices together. I love that Wale took a different approach than just a ratchet ass mess. It went on to become a medium sized hit for Wale and get his album noticed
I like its various remixes/mashups, just a really strong song.

#23 Overdose Ciara
ughhhh so many missed opportunities, why are they not allowing Cici to be successful? There is nothing this woman can't do well and whether its urban bops or pop bops she effortlessly shines, she can dance, she is fucking beautiful. What the fuck is the problem?
i love this song because its not just a generic song like some other pop dance songs, she adds her own style and Cici into everything she does. Its strong and has a infectious hook.
Cici is the truth.

#22 Without Me Fantasia featuring Kelly Rowland, Missy
What happens when you call up 3 of my favorite girls and ask them to ride over a hot beat, duh you get slayed bitch. They took turns giving me life and that beat with my headphones makes me wanna slip and slide of all types of places
This is a bop if I ever heard one, another song that should have BLOWN THE FUCK UP
