#60 Just Give Me A Reason Pink feat. Nate Ruess
Over the years there have been too many P!nk songs that I liked so wasn't surprised she in 2013, was still making gorgeous music. A pop ballad that leads with a nice vocal by both singers and has a sweet melody that has me still reaching for it. As good a piano ballad as she has made. It ended up being a major hit for her, but that is the least of my concern. It gave me voice and emotion and I felt it.
Pink usually gives you that tough chick but i love the vulnerability.

#59 Body Party Ciara (The Chosen One)
Another ballad yet very different, a sensual and soft cooing that is bound to unleash the sex freak in you. You know we all want to slowly grind our hips as this bop plays in the background. Unlike another artists who has a song on this chart, I loved she was singing sex but kept it classy in the video. Sometimes girls and bois we need to keep a little to the imagination. Tease daaahling, tease em but not put everything out there. A down tempo R&B cut that under played and appreciated by the masses.
Ciara didn't have her comeback with this but she reminded once again, why i love her so. A smooth vocal, sultry subjects and nice moves. Keep on making music always regardless.

#58 What Love Is Made Of Katy B
Hey it got a digital release and was on the UK singles chart, good enough for me. This one I first heard at a party had no idea who or what it was. Since then been captured by the way it gets me to wanna move and have fun, and it has that haunting vibe too. Its captivating and its hook is beyond what i consider the generic dance that I don't like. Its has its own unique sound and hell the bitch can sing, check all her records.
I love the raw, dark, back alley feel of the video too. Perfect for a night out or to get you in the mood to dance for your life. If you like this song and haven't checked her out yet, please listen to "5am" incredible.
"And I could stay like this for days Looking at your beautiful face Give me your word, say you'll never go Let me know, what love is made of"

Love "Body Party." Wasn't as high on Pink's duet as most people were, but it's serviceable.

#57 Blurred Lines Robin Thicke Ft Pharrell and TI
Ok so this was massive and I did like it but never was in love. I prefered a different mode of song from Robin but I can't deny that this was very danceable and in the right mood or under the right substance, I was dancing for my life quite often to it. Its another brilliant production from Pharrell and that is the #1 saving grace of the song and the video is cute but something about the singing and the song itself stopped me from loving it, like most people I know.
It was the type of song you just couldn't escape from but I just had to be in the right mood and hey when I checked my plays, it was the #57 most played single of the year so I liked it enough.
It sold over 14 million, was one of the longest standing #1's , it was massive yada yada end of the day all that counts it was HOT.

Hmm @spiritanimal not too fond of #58, but Dance records aren't really for me unless they are MC remixes ;)

#56 Dark Horse Katy Perry
ummmm yeah. I'm shaking in anger and embarrassment Who? What? What the f**k is going on here? Is the world about to end. That night I was sitting on twitter already hating on her other singles and someone posted a link to the song on twitter. I clicked play so I could bash her no singing ass on twitter some more cause we know I do that! Then I heard that intro and Juicy J and was like interesting and then she did something I been asking. Stop trying to sing. She fired words out in a singing way but almost like a sing rap and guess what THAT WORKED FOR HER! the verses are hot! the more she sings on the record the less effective she is.
I got my life from the beat, it was catchy but end of the f**king day there is a limit to how often I can listen to her and believe I listen to it, i can't even watch that atrocity.
The audio to Dark Horse is my #56 song.
Brb need a cold shower!

#55 Loved Me Back To Life Celine Dion (1/3 of the Vocal Trinity)
1- Canadian 2- A singer, not just a singer but SANGER! 3- Nostalgia 4- Naturally Gifted
Those reasons and the anticipation for Queen Celine had my expectation really high, so this song really had to knock it out of the ballpark and it did. She brought a power ballad but with a almost dance beat, it was a interesting mix. She sung it with that undeniable voice that she has graced us with over the years.
In recent months as my life has been slower paced than it was when this came out, I really have been listening to her album again, while I initially said I liked this song and a few others, the album isn't as boring as I made it out to seem. You just gotta get into it. Buy it. Support it.
She may or may not have another single upcoming, I dunno!

Celine f**king Dion with a S. YAS And nah, I don't expect another single after both this and "Incredible" underperformed (not that they could have done well without any promo from the label).

Radio isn't here for all the talented, older ladies, sadly. Also if they make younger more in music they still get abused as acting like children so they are stuck in limbo. Just make music I say and let the quality of the albums speak for itself!

#54 Wild Jessie J ft. Big Sean, Dizzee Rascal
Jessie J is a bad bitch, that walk alone is hotness but between the banging beat and the rapid fire style she sings this with really takes me to another level. Sometimes a rap feature can either be hot or unneeded but in this case the rap definitely adds to the song. Its a mix of pop, r&B and hip-hop and is one of the more fun songs of the year
This song charted high during the summer of '13 and all those party moments but will have to admit it didnt have the same staying power as a few others. Can we make Jessie J happen in North America please?

#53 Kisses Down Low Kelly Rowland
Ughhh, hot. Kelly really turned up the sexual innuendo (well that is actually becoming the norm) but the way she seductively glides up and down on the track and her naturally huskier vocal tone makes this just extraordinary. He might be a tad redundant at times, but nothing like a Mike Will Made It production on a R&B bop.
The song and the video might no exactly go together but its cute, colorful and as always Kelly looks like a smokeshow! The song went on to sell over 500,000 downloads and that's about as good as it gets for R&B girls, so it made a impact last year.
"I like, I like, I like my kisses down low Makes me arch my back When you give it to me slow Baby just like that"

#52 Love Me Again John Newman
Soul SOUL MORE SOUL then add a beat and dance ability factor = GET YOUR LIFE!
There is a powerful, anthem like feel to this one and its right down to the end my type of song. Have to say the British are really bringing it!
Another artist who really is undervalued and another in a long line who I stay interested in even though I feel they should be moving mad units and be world famous by now!

#51 Pour It Up Rihanna
Riri really dug deep and brought it on this record, we all know I love my strippers anthem and this is no exception. A insanely, catchy and ratchet bop that served up her style of vocals blended with a hot beat and her best Lil'Kim looks in the video. I love the vibe and I'm always here for urban Rihanna.
As much as i rag on her at times ask hitseeker., her last album gave me lots of songs and if "Nobody's Business" was released as a single, it would be in the top half of the chart. I enjoyed half of her last album and her lead single might have been the worst of the bunch on the record.
"Strip clubs and dollar bills I still got my money Patron shots can I get a refill? I still got my money Strippers goin' up and down that pole And I still got my money Four o'clock and we ain't going home Cause I still got my money Money make the world go round I still got my money"

#50 Applause (Viceroy Remix only version charted) Lady Gaga
Ok I wasn't a huge fan of the original "Applause" because I dunno, I just prefer her more instantly melodic and fun songs like a certain song still to go on the chart, but it wasnt until I heard this remix that I actually started to like the song. A more breezy, fun and catchy version imo. I never realized how actually catchy the song is until this remix made me listen.
Its really hot, interesting and gave me a new appreciation for a song that i didn't like during its run. It almost has a Caribbean feel to it and enhances the dramatics of the song overall.
I guess my indifference was over the production and not the actual song. Yasss Gaga serve me drag teas.

YES at #60 (I think most of pulse likes this song tbh.) #56 ( at your description though) #55 (YESSSSSS sad that it flopped though) #54 (YESSSSSS sad that it did nothing in U.S. as well) #52 (Love this song, shame he's a one hit wonder in the U.S. though) #50 (Not a huge fan of the remix though, I very much prefer the original) Great chart so far!

YASSS!! I love this song: the beat, the hook...Rih really served it on this pone! I definitely agree about "Nobody's Business": even though it features Douchebag Brown, it would've been a multi-format smash had it been released...oh well :'(

Another great batch Coco! I love all of those.
I do agree that John Newman is undervalued as well.
