I have a feeling Lahey is just a bad townie, and not scum... But I'm not getting scum vibes from Zebra either. Not getting town vibes either... Honestly I'd be most happy with a Surf lynch, but at this point I'm keeping it on Lahey.

My biggest concern here is that I don't want to lynch a townie that I'm almost sure is a townie. With the delayed arsonist kill (well, I'm assuming this) on top of the scum kill tonight if we mislynch that's 3 townies down, leaving 50/50 scum and town if there's 6 scum players. That's why I'm so hesitant to lynch him. I'll hammer just for the sake of progress, but I think Zebra is the better target. Why do you think Zebra is scum and Lahey is more likely town? I read through Zebra's posts last night and honestly didn't see anything that made me seriously consider him scum. With that in mind, nothing screamed "TOWN!!" either so he's up in the air, while Lahey's defense of Green Baron and subsequent vote on Zebra seemed very strange to me and did scream "BANDWAGON/COVER UP!!!". I guess the only thing in Lahey's favour right now is that he wasn't on the icant pre-lynch, though I'd have to go back and check to see whether he was even here while that was going on. It could have been an opportunity missed for him. Anyway, I'm just saying if you think Lahey is a mislynch, don't hammer him with so much time left because it doesn't do us any favours, especially if you actually believe Zebra is a better chance at hitting scum. Right now, I'd say I'm probably 70/30 for Lahey being scum and like 30/70 for Zebra being scum. If there's a case to be made, it might be helpful to make it. People keep saying this, and then turning around and saying Lahey is scum but only because they think Zebra isn't? Or like I'm Codex's post above (?) where he says neither go either way but he's staying on Lahey because yolo. Lahey seems to be trying when he logs in-- everything Zebra has said up till now has been lazy or an appeal of emotion that has nothing to do with the game. I'll also just go ahead and out him because he'll (hopefully) role claim before hammer anyway-- I think Lahey hinted at being vanilla oh so subtlety D1. I'll quote it when I get the chance. Additionally, why would a green baron cover be scummy? I've done the same thing and you think I'm town? I'm starting to think people covering for Zebra may be in a scum faction with him.

Also did Green Baron not basically put him at L-1? Staying on Zebra would've been just as well for scum if Lahey/Green Baron were aligned-- they aren't. So the defense of green baron isn't scummy at all lmao

I did it, josh did it, super did it (sorta)... It's nothing new. Probs just tired of writing vanilla townie over and over? ...I think? Here's the post. Anyway. Lahey's Lucky Star if this isn't your role, then I suggest you role claim.

Ugh, wanted to get my vote in there before you hammer. I;ve twice seen Lahey get lynched for scummy behavior when he turns up town, including last game. He was way too quiet last game too and hardly popped in. I think he could just be disengaged.
I am not feeling that strong about Zebra either. I am actually with Codex on this one. I think we have other options, which I've alluded to several times, but nobody seems interested in those options and seem unwilling to change their vote, and now the deadline is upon us. We definitely have scum on one of these lynches, and that;s something we're going to have to use for D3.

We have 12 hours, so unless all of us change our minds in that time, we're looking at either Zebra or Lahey.

People keep saying this, and then turning around and saying Lahey is scum but only because they think Zebra isn't? Or like I'm Codex's post above (?) where he says neither go either way but he's staying on Lahey because yolo. That's not what I said. I'm keeping my vote on Lahey, because he seems more scummy to me than Zebra, even if I'm not entirely confident on him. I'm more suspicious of Surf than Lahey, but with 12 hours left we aren't going to get a majority on him, we have to chose between Lahey and Zebra, and out of those I pick Lahey.

Your post said that you thought Lahey was a bad townie, but then you turned around and said you weren't getting town or scum vibes from Zebra... so it made it seem like you were more sure of Lahey's town-ness as opposed to Zebra but were leaving your vote on him. Maybe that was poor wording, but that's what I got out of that post.

We keep lynching him for scummy behavior, then he turns out town. In Josh's game I was so sure he was scum and then I copped him and he turned out to be town... again. But, is that a reason to give him a free pass though?

Unvote: Lahey
I just want to make sure we don't mislynch, I'm on mobile so I can't really review all the posts right now, but I will (hopefully) be on a computer and place my vote later.

Sorry, in a rush to head to work but I'll try to answer these. I don't think Lahey or Zebra's roles are mutually exclusive. I think people have that frame of mind because they're the two likely targets now. I don't think they are and if I removed my vote from Lahey for some reason, that wouldn't mean it would go to Zebra just because. For Lahey's green baron cover, it's not that he covered for him that was scummy to me but everything around it and his reasons for voting for Zebra as a result of that, it seemed too convenient for me and the reason he gave for voting Zebra seemed like such an insignificant reason to vote him when there were other more scummy things going on. But as I've said, I don't get why the target is on Zebra now anyway so I'm obviously missing something.

But as I've said, I don't get why the target is on Zebra now anyway so I'm obviously missing something. I'm not saying that your top two have to be Zebra and Lahey just because, but the fact that we're this close to deadline and those two seem to be the top two targets means, well... you need to pick one, so it's not like blatantly escaping me why people are picking Lahey over Zebra, I just frankly disagree with the logic behind choosing Lahey over Zebra. The vote on Zebra was "lazy" in the sense that it seemed almost bandwagonny, but that and his inactivity are the only two "scummy" things I've seen Lahey do. What other evidence do you have against him? For Zebra, he's done lazy voting (with Green Baron), been largely inactive, hasn't really provided justifiable reasons for being inactive, has done the whole being active elsewhere but not in this thread... I'm sorry, I just don't get why people think Lahey is that much more scummy than Zebra that it's worth their vote. At this point I'm probably only arguing for it because I'm like, set on this, but to me Zebra's been playing a scummier game. So when I hear people say "neither are that scummy, but I'm voting Lahey and wouldn't neccessarily move my vote to Zebra", it almost feels like you're protecting Zebra. As for your last point, see my above statement.

Kunt does bring up some pretty good points. I'd be fine with either one of them being lynched.

Random, and some of you know this, but I am leaving tomorrow afternoon for a week in Montana and Idaho. I'll be able to check in, but won't be as present on D3 (if I'm still here).
On another note, when I look at who is voting who, it does seem like a higher percentage of the people I'm sure about are choosing Lahey. Lahey's the only one on the Zebra list who I think is sketchy. And Drag/Nick's roles have been outed. Rocky/B4L, clearly, no one is switching their vote at this point, and since both sides need two more votes, you should take a stand.
