Sad week.

Today, we and the top 10 mourns a loss. The legendary Martin Tungevaag and his "Wicked Wonderland" falls off from the top 10 after an amazing/superb/sick/cool/unbelievable/incredible/fantastic/extra-ordinary/insane/crazy/beyond belief/historical/f**king/retarded 27 weeks run there. A remarkable run, let's take a minute and remember the magic in it and the influence and happiness that it has given. Me myself will be full-black in this chart.

Okay so i have had a massive trouble to keep up with this, partly due to laziness and partly due to real life issues. Initially i wanted to discontinue the chart, but popstop forced persuaded me to continue so s/o to him

Mikey's Top 20 - Week ending 8/31/2015

• "Shades of Grey" is the first number one in the new top 20 - deservedly so :'( It should have had a multiple digit reign if i had continued my chart :(
  
  
• We have some random Carly there popping up between the EDMs. I really like her album, possibly my most favorite pop album this year, and that's quite an accomplishment because you guys know how strict my pop taste is
  
  
• KYFRA's remix of "Jammu" is the winner of the song's remix contest, and i think he deserved it. Love the tropical house approach! <3
  
  
• History is made with Oliver Heldens charting his upcoming track, which is still an ID (Although it's safe to assume it is his remix of Da Hool's "Meet Her At The Love Parade" ) . ID is a term for tracks that haven't been announced. This is the first ID to chart, and i love it so. Oli also charts with his other project, HI-LO, whose "Wappy Flirt" enters at #18

Mikey's Hot 20 - Week Ending 9/6/2015

• Decided to do the charts on Fridays from now on, considering it is literally the only free day i have.
• Anyhow, "Shades of Grey" stays on the top for the second week. Last week's record-breaking Oliver Heldens' ID, has now been confirmed as the HI-LO's edit of Heldens & Da Hool's "Meet Her At The Love Parade" (Or shortened to "MHATLP"). Following the premiere of the original mix on Heldeep Radio #65, it massively jumps to #2. This is Heldens' 9th top 10 and 6th top 5 hit. Heldens is also the first artist to occupy the top 2 spot in the same time.  
• "Lost Words" is Julian's second top 5 hit in a row. Might it be his second consecutive topper after his last single, "Blinded by the Light" ?
• KSHMR's "Memories" is basically "Secrets" 2.0, so i'm not expecting any love for it. I don't care.

Mikey's Top 40 - 13/11/2016

Um hi guys Decided to come back and post some charts as I feel i have too much free time

This week, "Shelter" keeps #1 for a second consecutive week. The Porter Robinson & Madeon collaboration is still killing it and I always enjoy the song everytime it appears on my playlist. While it might be able to hold on the throne easily this week, don't take it as granted that it will lead next week, as below it, some fierce competition is going on. At #2 is machineheart's "Watercolors", which jumped from #7. It manages to leap over Mike Perry's "Inside the Lines", which stays at its #3 peak. The #4 spot also doesn't change, as Jay Hardway & his 2016 AMF anthem "Amsterdam" stays at its peak. Rounding off the top 5 is "Oh Baby (Croissant)" which drops from its #2 peak. 2 new songs enter the top 10 - "All Of Me" at #8, jumping from #14, and Jonas Blue's "By Your Side" at #10, massively leaping from #34 and by doing so getting the honor as the biggest jumper.



There are 6 debuts this week, the highest being machineheart's "Circles" at #25, their 2nd appearance in the chart. CVBZ's "Be Like You" enters at #26, while the last 5 spots comprise 4 debuts.

Hello friends quarantine has made me sleepless and messed up with my body clock so I ended up listening emo songs on Spotify at night. Emo songs somehow gave me ideas to use my time more effectively so I told myself, "Hey! Why don't you check pulse for fun; It's gooooodd to be a bit nostalgic and look at how pure you were compared to now " Then that rush of nostalgia really strucked me when I went to this thread and man, how I miss that thrill of making weekly charts!!! So out of the blue, i'm gonna start doing these charts again hehe. Don't know how long I can sustain this (uni starting on Aug so excited!!!!!!!!) but imma try my best

Not into bigroom/edm in general as much as I used to - partly bc of the lower quality these days uhhhhh - but it helps to widen my likings and appreciate music more!!! basically, I got better in listening to chiller music I am enjoying indie/bedroom pop/synth pop recently too!!

STILL A MAINSTREAM HATER THOUGH so expect many hidden gems that y'all might not know heheh so really looking forward to share those with y'alll!!!
