Is this just a ploy? Film one sound check for everyone to see of live singing and think that will stop lip syncing accusations when she does it later on? Does anyone think she even does sound checks anymore?? Her vocals in shows have always been such a mystery.

She did sing some parts of some songs live on the DWAD tour. She's actually done parts of some songs live in every tour (except Vegas). The people who refuse to admit that are just as frustrating as the ones who used to refuse to believe she lipped. I do hate that these days they seem to go to such lengths to hide her voice. I love her voice, imperfections and all. It's one of the main reasons I remained a fan through good times and bad for over 15 years. In fact, my favorite performances from her, hands down, feature live vocals. And sound great (IMO). I just don't get why you would want to suppress that. |

Also there's more to sound check than just lead vocals. It looks like she had a live band and backup vocalists there. She'd need to practice with them and make sure everything was working even if she wasn't actaully singing.

The last thing he's done that even remotely interested me was Blondie's 'Call Me'. His newest stuff is more like JRPG soundtrack bullshit meets 2012's top 40... so I'm not so much excited, but definitely interested.

I'm not going to get my hopes up, because her team isn't that smart... but a month or two after this song's buzz is dead, she needs an album announcement. It's a high-profile collab (or at least, it's being believably marketed that way)-- they better capitalize on that somehow.

The only place this is going to smash is South Korea, who would quite literally send 3.5 minutes of her queefing to the top of the charts for weeks. Granted, I haven't heard it-- but if it's true to Giorgio's sound then I doubt it will do anything short of attract a lot of (hopefully) positive buzz online.
