I'm pretty sure that if Brits team didn't want Iggy to speak on it she wouldn't have which she didn't speak for awhile. So that doesn't make sense. Even after she spoke on it she was still in Vegas to support brit and that was just weeks ago. I think everything will be fine. Yeah I don't buy that the Iggy collab isn't happening. I don't really care one way or the other, but it seems like they've had Iggy really go out on a limb with the thing - the tweets, going to Vegas to show support, answering fan questions about the song. To me, that seems like a point of no return for the song to exist and to be heavily involved in whatever the project ends up being (probably another greatest hits ????). All of those things could have just as easily been of Iggy's own free will. I think to read into it that much is being a little... idk, presumptuous? Besides, Kyle is an incredibly reliable source who has been correct many, many times before about Britney's affairs-- and Iggy is known for speaking too soon about projects. The only way to spin what he said to mean the collab is still happening is that it's not the first single, but then if everything you listed was intended to "promote it", why bother with doing all of it? That's where the logic falls apart. Either she's off the song, or Kyle is wrong. I'm inclined to believe the one with proven connections in her camp. |

Other than that, Iggy's the one who wouldn't shut up about it, claimed it was the single, etc. On paper, it looks about as professional as her AMA slip up where she leaked she'd be on it before the official announcement. She probably got excited, Britney's team said it was a hot song (what else are they gonna say lol), and she just got ahead of herself. It's not unprofessional, it just wasn't very tactful. I wouln't call it messy either. It's no different than a producer saying they made a hot song for Brit that ended up on the cutting room floor. |

Giorgio Moroder was interviewed by Yahoo and he praised Britney's vocals, adding the following: "I listened a lot to her (Britney) latest songs, which were all a little... the voice was a little mechanical — so many effects. While on this one, she's basically without... a little delay, but no effects, no nothing. So it sounds really natural." No autotune on her voice. YES! :'( |

I don't know what to expect either when it comes to the quality of this new album. She's become such a wildcard with the last few albums so the anticipation when it comes to that is kind of exciting.
I hope for a half Max Martin-produced album, 2 songs from Bloodshy/Avant and the rest with new producers.

Just listened. Sounds like a Jessie and the Boy Toys leftover from 2011-- not feeling it unless they give it a total overhaul.
That said, tons of fake "leaks" pop up around the time when album speculation is kicking into high gear so I'm not convinced of anything unless I hear her voice on it.
Granted, my standards for this album are going to be particularly high given what I know she's capable of, and what I'm hoping she'll put out to compensate for her past commercial failure. Britney pls
