Actually, some promo for "Pretty Girls" would help in the UK, although I guess it's going to be only for radio in its week release (the track will be released on June 14) to be honest. Anyway, Capital FM already playlisted the track and although I don't think BBC Radio 1 would do - I'm not sure about this, but I've read that the last track from her that was playlisted was "Hold It Against Me" in the C-list - Iggy plays a key factor because they could do because of her.
Personally, with the new rules (sales and streaming) on the Official Charts, I don't know if it's able to debut into the Top 10, but I guess it would do on the sales one. I mean, if "Work Bitch" debuted at #7 based on sales without any support from BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM, "Pretty Girls" should do it with the support from the latter in my opinion.

She did do some promo for FF but by that time it was too late, she was already on her 4th single, which happened to be the weakest one of the four (in terms of hit potential), so the promo didn't really help. I think if she is promoting for PG, she needs to perform it somewhere and not just talk about it a little bit. The last memory the UK has of her performing was the X Factor performance, which really wasn't a nice note to leave on. As a side note, what Vegas song do you guys think will be dropped on the setlist in favor of PG? My guess is Perfume since it seems like the most disposable of all the songs. |

If the BMA lineup posted in the Kelly Clarkson thread is accurate, it seems like Mariah is in fact getting the Icon award. I want Britney to have it, but honestly Mariah should get it first. Both are way more deserving than a couple past recipients I'm thinking of though.

I too am pleased with the performance. Her dancing, hair, outfit, everything was on point! Iggy wasn't bad either. I love how it was a continuation of the music video.

Definitely very pleased with the performance! She looked HOT, lively and into it. The camera angles and overall direction was a MESS but Brit was killing it.

She was doing more than Nicki who got a free pass for uh.. not even trying? Kids these days, smh. The camera angles were jank as f**k and I still wish it was live, but other than that I'm finding it really hard to complain. |
