lbr, I love Brit but the 2016 performance was pretty stiff. Would have ranked that at #10 solely because it was nice to see her back on stage.

imo 2016 was a good performance, she hit all the marks she was supposed to, the problem is that the song itself is slow which meant something crazy had to happen visually to offset...the shadow hands at the beginning was a good opening but the rest of the performance was just incredibly simple...which for Britney Spears at the VMAs, is weird.
That's why I would've wished "Better" or "Slumber Party" would've been released first, because they based her entire album release sort of around the VMAs and those would've made better live showings. "Make Me" is a great song/single, but it's not exactly one that would excite live.

It may even deserve to be #1. I remember my mom trying to grab the remote controls out of my hand because she (and everyone else in the room) thought she was naked which is hilarious now. Honest opinion, Britney didn’t perform for her video Vanguard award because she wasn’t confident enough to? They couldn’t afford to pay her performance. Paycheck only for appearance. |

After learning more, it sounds like he broke Sean’s door down and shook him violently. Britney had to remove the boys from the house. So many disturbing thoughts in my head. If he did that to her son gotta wonder what he has done to her. How has be abused her. Taken advantage of her, caused her illness and profited of her. Where is her mother,extended family, sister . Why is Britney so neglected and left in the hands of this supposed monster. I always assumed the industry did this to her but clearly it all stems from home.
She is a survivor and clearly strong and I pray she makes her way out of the depths of hell she must be stuck in.

It’s both. The industry has no doubt exacerbated her own issues, but being under her father’s thumb probably hasn’t helped. Her kids were her world though... god, even if she’s the one who took them to court I can’t be sure she knew she’d lose custody because of Jamie’s hand in the conservatorship.
This is an absolute nightmare. The residency cancellation, her mother’s outbursts, the continued review of the legality of the conservatorship... like the writing has been on the wall for a while. Let this woman be happy on her own terms, goddamn.
Who has the kids now, I wonder? Kevin, or are they in custody of the courts/state? Maybe Jamie Lynn?

What the hell is going on?!?! I don't know what to believe and what not. It's all a huge mystery and the oxymoron of news vs how she acts on insta only adds to this. I just wish someday she exposes everything and everyone not because she owes it to us but to herself. But then again she never cared what others thought of her so idk. On a not-so-unrelated note, I watched Miley's Black Mirror episode a few days ago and I'm convinced it was inspired by Britney 10000%, especially since Miley is a stan of hers.

I am still not over what I’ve been processing with the news this past week. What I can, and must, say is that this bitch makes music that makes me feel things that almost no other musician makes me feel. Even her filler album tracks are better than anything I can turn on the radio and hear. You can just feel the passion in what she delivers and no one since her has been able to replicate it. I hope that she’s as passionate about her music as it sounds like she is. And if she is I hope she gets to share all of this with us in her way, in her time. Listening to #Blackout #Glory and #InTheZone.
