She's working through a long time of trauma so I'd cut her some slack, only God knows just exactly how much she has endured during her career and its normal to often just break or snap randomly (not that im justifying that behavior) but its a natural obstacle on the road to recovery and happiness.

Look some of her recent photos are to be kind a choice. Her Instagram is a mess . Her eyes seem dead to me and that's a signal of something. However I think we need to give Britney grace and love and let her heal and do what she wants but I also hope I finally see the light in her eyes again and happiness and healing. She’s a married woman with kids. Idek know if she’s married because all we saw was some wedding pics then he disappeared. I hope her husband/partner is helping her or getting her the help she needs |

I think fans need *less* involvement at this point honestly as the overly obsessive ones are only proving themselves to be a part of the problem. It seems blatantly obvious Britney is mentally unstable/unwell at this point (understandable all she has been through mind you), and that's from the outside looking in, so I can only imagine what isn't being seen. With that being said, you have millions of people hyper-fixated on literally any and every minute detail of her existence to bolster extreme conspiracies (like she is dead and has been replaced by a duplicate) and gossiping over this woman's mental health through a slanted stan gaze that is never going to give them an accurate view of the situation at hand and if anything is likely only adding to the stress in her life and to the detriment of her overall wellness. She didn't ask to be freed from the shackles of those who placed her into that horrid conservatorship, just to be bound and chained by the overprotective nature of her well-intentioned fans. The general public needs to let this woman live and leave her alone before they end up literally forcing her into the arms of insanity themselves.

I wish people would stop treating her social media like reality TV. The line between genuine concern and sensationalizing a victim of abuse isn't that thin, really.
I also agree with Sam. Lizzo can have her whole ass out and everyone acts like it's the new testament of body positivity. Britney gives us little pussy peeks and everyone defaults to the same tired stigmatization of mental illness. Very bizarre and unhealthy behavior.
ETA RE: #FreeBritneyII, generally agree with the sentiments above. It's clear she needs help and I genuinely hope she gets it or is getting it, but people are becoming obsessive to the point of detriment. Not only hers, but also their own. That level of obsession is not healthy. I'm also not entirely convinced it's coming from a good place either, almost as if people who made a name for themselves on the back of #FreeBritney are doing more for their brand than for her.
Really disappointed in how everything that's transpired over the past year has played out. She deserves better.

She testified that she didn’t want a psychiatric evaluation by the courts. The original “evaluation” never actually happened, or at the very least documentation concerning it couldn’t be provided by Jamie’s lawyers. They only produced a diagnosis of early-onset dementia by a doctor that couldn’t be reached with no record of her ever actually being evaluated. That doesn’t have any bearing on her seeking help outside of the legal system and on her own terms. She needs a proper evaluation, but I can also understand why she’d be non-compliant with treatment considering her father abused the mental healthcare system under the conservatorship. Her recounting her experience on YouTube (that she took down) implied that she wasn’t averse to therapy though. There’s no way to know for sure if she’s getting it, but I hope she is. It can take a while to really settle into the process of trusting the mental health system and I say that from personal experience. When I was younger, my father would put me in therapy against my will and try to bribe the therapist into violating HIPAA so he could find out what was “wrong” with me. Even that was enough to turn me off of the system until very recently, but Britney had to deal with much worse. I can only imagine where her head is at. All we can do is hope for the best. |

Also IDK if anyone here is aware/keeping tabs on anything, but while the conservatorship is over, the litigation is not. Her dad and his lawyer are still pushing for Britney's estate to pay for all of the legal fees (yes, even though he has no access to her money he is STILL insisting she foot HIS bill). Rosengart is working to keep her out of any of the legal proceedings but surely she's still very much aware it's far from over and that headache persists.

The Blackout cover was really disappointing when it was unveiled significantly because that was pretty much the only promo pic that was being used. They just took it and added the squares. I don't remember exactly if it was used for ads for her VMA performance, but if not, it appeared very soon after and was pretty much the only new professional photo of her until the album came out and there were other pictures in the booklet.
