Exactly. It seems like no matter who she meets is shit. So why not go out on your own away from it all for a while and get the help you need? There’s already been a few times in her life she should’ve done this. I hope she finally does.

According to documents obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday, Asghari's divorce filing cited irreconcilable differences as their reason for divorcing and includes July 28 as their date of separation.

In the filing, the model is requesting spousal support from the pop star and that she pay the legal fees. The filing also states that Asghari "reserves the right to amend" petitions over property and community assets.

The fact that he can request alimony and actually has a case “to maintain the standard of living during the marriage” even though he never gave up his career is bullshit. Normalize not getting married in that state.

Technically, he’s not contesting the prenup, but I see why people were reporting he was. I’ll hold the L, think pink. had the read. That’s Occam’s razor at this point.

I’ll be generous and assume you just don’t understand this conversation. Acknowledging that Britney has had an objectively turbulent life is not making excuses for her. Adding context to a conversation about mental health, and why we can’t make assumptions about someone’s health based on Instagram and he-said, she-said tabloids, is not saying she doesn’t need to take responsibility for her health and get help (to the degree that she needs it– we don’t know). Saying shit like it’s clear “she’s very ill” is, frankly, weak as fuck. If you know something we don’t then by all mean, please share with the class, otherwise please sit down.

As for Sam, people are pissed because someone who has his own money and has never had to give up a damn thing to be with Britney is requesting compensation for being married to her and using his media team to skirt around defamation law. I don’t care if his marriage was genuinely that bad, you don’t go telling the world about it. Especially knowing what she’s been through. Side with no one, I don’t care, but by every metric he’s an asshole and if you genuinely believe she is ill, then I don’t know why you’re backing the dude exploiting her for that alleged illness.

You know since that divorce filing was from July, maybe those rumors about the book being delayed weren't actually about JT or Colin, maybe they had been separated a while and Sam was being edited instead?

Without speculating any further, I think in the end we'll probably find out they were both at fault for various reasons.

And I could totally see Britney storing knives everywhere, especially since that sorry security team she had let Jason slip right on in on her wedding day. I'd be on edge too.

Glad to see public opinion has once again gone back to being on Britney's side.

I'm confused that she didn't even acknowledge her new single on social media... but acknowledges her relationship breakup? Nothing makes sense or adds up with her as per usual. 

You'd think any A-list artist would not want to be on social media discussing their personal drama instead of new music that came out barely a month ago. Especially someone who's consistently been under media microscope like her. 

You'd also think the new comeback song would not be clearly an unfinished scrapped demo from a decade ago dug up as a last resort cash grab as if she's deceased and incapable of making new music. Then the fact she just did not acknowledge the said song as if her team released it behind her back and didn't notify her. 

Bottomline not sure if she's still under extreme behind the scenes control at this point which makes the portions of her presented to the public so cryptic & unusual, or if she actually is truly free but just in some incomprehensible state to where nothing is rational.

I don't find her lack of promotion irrational?

She barely posted about Hold Me Closer, so why would we expect her to do so for this one? It seems more likely than not to me that this song was likely just a favor for Will who is her friend. I don't think she sees these as "events"... she probably just sees it as helping out Will and that's where it ends.
