According to Kworb, it's set to sell about 244k this week. "Problem" sold 438k and missed the top spot. I'm not so sure "Bang Bang" can debut even in the top 5 (unless it gets serious streaming).

I guess a top 5 debut is possible. But not #1. If "Payphone" got more than twice the sales and didn't debut at #1 (and Maroon 5 is radio's pet so it's safe to assume that that one got significant first-week airplay as well and I'm pretty sure it debuted pretty high on Spotify that week as well), it doesn't have a chance against "Rude" or "Stay with Me".

There's just 1% gap between "Stay With Me" and "Fancy" on the 8/9/14 issue while "Rude" has 16% lead over "Stay With Me". Top 2 is for sure. #1 won't likely happen this week but I guess it could be in the next week or two. |

The latter will certainly happen (I'm surprised it didn't happen this week) but I don't think it will dethrone "Rude" just yet. Although I do see it doing it eventually. On a side note it would be hilarious if "Happy" returned to the top 10...it almost did this week but just as "Summer" is crashing, Jessie J will probably prevent the re-entry of "Happy" next week. Also, "Boom Clap" will probably hit the top ten if not next week then the one after. |

Happy will stay 11-13 on next week's Hot 100 lol. "Summer" will fall below it, Jessie J will debut above it and possibly "Boom Clap" and "Love Runs Out" will rise above it. Would be hilarious if "Happy" returned to the top 10 lmao Edit: never mind, you're right Daniel, it will be 11-15. I forgot also about "Bailando" and "All About the Bass". I'm really srprised with "Bailando"'s success. Don't know how many singles it took for Enrique to finally have another hit. |

This will be an interesting week with "Bang Bang" and "Chasing the Sun."
"Bang Bang" shot quickly to #1 on iTunes and brought Jason down all the way to ~35%. Of course, the number two (now Meghan Trainor) has rebounded to ~80%, but "Bang Bang" should still bring in a solid ~250k debut. Streaming wise, it has Ariana Grande in it, so its streaming is likely to be very high for just an audio video. It has roughly 4.5 million views on YouTube right now. I'm assuming it's already available on Spotify as well. Not incredibly high streaming, but decent, and of course #1 digitally. Its airplay will be great for its first week as well (already #25 on pop!). A top 10 debut seems guaranteed, probably around #7.
"Chasing the Sun" shot quickly to the upper 20s on iTunes, though it has since fallen below the top 100. should pull in ~35k, though. Its streaming is what's interesting to me for the Hot 100. Its official video is near 9 million views with an extra 200k from its audio video. Now, I figured Hilary would have good streaming numbers on her videos if she were to ever come back, but I'm not sure the percentage of US viewers. She kind of falls into that category of artists that are likely to get huge streaming numbers outside the US. (Brazil loves their low stardom popstars!) Low airplay, though, will hurt this. I'm guessing just below the top 50.
