It's official! Gorgon City's new single is going to be "Go All Night", which was co-written by Kiesza and features vocals from Jennifer Hudson. It will be released officially on December 14 and it's included on their debut album Sirens. From Contact Music:

When I saw the title of this thread I got really excited. I mean Gorgon City and Jennifer Hudson together? How could I not. I wasn't disappointed by what I heard either. Perfect choice for a next single.

This is the best song on their album. I thought that the Katy B song was next though.

I thought that the Katy B song was next though. I also thought that since it had a free standalone release, but apparently they decided to go with this one instead. I guess it was because of the instant reaction/positive feedback it had after its premiere on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 programme and being selected as the Hottest Record In the World there.

I love this! I heard it on my store's Dance playlist last week. I noticed that the vocalist sounded a lot like Jennifer Hudson. I Googled some of the lyrics I had written down and I was pleasantly surprised to learn it was this one.

"Go All Night" (featuring Jennifer Hudson) [Radio 1 Live Lounge] I wish Jennifer wasn't reading the lyrics of the song, but I can't deny that this was amazing!

She sounded AMAZING. This is exactly the kind of music I want to hear from her.

I think her voice is actually better suited for house, or at least house/disco influenced R&B, than a lot of the R&B she records. Her voice overpowers a lot of her material, but it works great with house/disco tracks.

From the Official Charts: Midweek update in the UK and it slips a spot to #8. Still crossing fingers for a Top 10 debut, although a Top 20 entry is a lock.

Woo amazing.
It's rising quickly on streaming (was only released on spotify sunday). It's #166 on the daily chart and rising fast it seems. Hopefully the fast rise on streaming will help keep it on lock for a top 10 debut.

From BuzzJack Music Forum: 9 Gorgon City feat. Jennifer Hudson - Go All Night * 10 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass This is the Friday update in the UK and it falls to #9. Also, it has been inside the Top 10 all the week on iTunes, so it will now depend on streaming.

Debuts at #14 in the UK, becoming Gorgon City's fourth Top 20 in a row there. A Top 10 debut would have been better of course, but if it's considered how "Unmissable" did, I think it's good though.
#4. "Ready For Your Love" (featuring MNEK) #7. "Here For You" (featuring Laura Welsh) #14. "Go All Night" (featuring Jennifer Hudson) #19. "Unmissable" (featuring Zak Abel)

Great to see Jennifer Hudson back in the UK charts. The song's streaming is increasing, so hopefully it'll stick around for a while.
