Great to see CFMF jumping and that high re-entry for The Hills, as well as the gains for Cheerleader and Fun (I assume the bold indicates a gain this week for the song)! Great chart as always!

Intro: Some followers wanted Lean On to hit #1...
Yes Lean On! Just go up one more spot!
Lean on needs to go #1 :v
Lean On no.2!! Hope it gets to no.1!! Great chart :) ...others were upset of its #2 peak...
...just as long as Lean On doesn't end up with #2 peak >:( ...they constantly cheered for Lean On...
...so the big question this week: Will Lean On finally hit the summit? Let's find out!
Hello, and welcome back to the Top 44. First thing's first, let's answer the question you all have: Did Lean On finally hit #1 this week? Answer: Yes it did! A #20 debut, 11 weeks in the top 5, but no #1 peak... until now. With its Hot 100 update and its popularity spike over the vacation weekend, Lean On gains 8 points, which is enough to help it rise 2-1 and become the chart's 27th #1. This gives Diplo his 2nd #1 hit, DJ Snake his 1st, and MO her 1st. As for Diplo, he becomes only the 2nd artist to replace himself at the summit. Iggy Azalea did it last year as she replaced "Fancy" with "Black Widow."
After 6 straight weeks at the summit, Skrillex, Diplo, and JB's "Where Are U Now" might have finally met its match as it falls 1-2 and loses 20 points this week. Even with the fall from the summit, it still has racked up an impressive 14 weeks in the top 5. I'll let you know later if it will threaten any records soon. Two new challengers may be up soon to the challenge of dethroning "Lean On." The first? The Weeknd as he spends a 3rd week at #3 with "Can't Feel My Face," but with a 9 point gain. The other? Demi Lovato as she returns to #4 and gains 6 points with "Cool For the Summer." Wrapping up the top 5 is Fifth Harmony and Kid Ink as they fall to #5 with "Worth It."
Returning to its peak (and debut) of #6 is Selena Gomez and A$AP Rocky with "Good For You" and vaulting up 15-7 this week is The Weeknd with "The Hills." T-Swift and Kendrick Lamar's former 3 week #1 hit "Bad Blood" falls to #8, OMI's "Cheerleader" falls to #9, and Zedd and Jon Bellion stay put at #10 with "Beautiful Now."
Elsewhere on the chart this week, Fall Out Boy reaches #11 with "Uma Therman," Ed Sheeran reaches #12 with "Photograph," and Life of Dillon reaches #18 with "Overload." The week's highest debut is "Good Thing" by Sage The Gemini ft. Nick Jonas.JL44's Top 44 as of 07•24•15 (WK117, Chart #191)TW:LW:PK:WKS01:02:01:12 Lean On by Major Lazer and DJ Snake ft. You're just gonna have to find out later this month/August. And what is this? 01:02:01:12 Lean On by Major Lazer and DJ Snake ft. MO (34) (First week at #1) 02:01:01:20 Where Are U Now by Skrillex and Diplo ft. Justin Bieber (20) (Spent 6 weeks at #1) They're summit points. Tells you how big of a lead each song has over another. 75 summit points are available each week and usually top 5 songs hold down summit points although a song at #6 and #7 has earned or held summit points before.

Intro: What happened this week? Let's find out.
Welcome back to the Top 44, where some songs go big quickly, but fall down the same way sometimes. So we got 35 weeks down, only 17 to go! By now, it looks like I can easily predict to the nearest group of 10 where each song will probably finish. But also keep in mind: Some big hits are being expected to drop very soon and hits can come out of nowhere and surprise you with their year end ranking.
To the countdown we go, and for a second straight week, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and MO is at the summit with "Lean On," despite a 4 point drop. After 3 weeks at #3, The Weeknd moves one step closer to becoming the 2nd artist to nab 3 #1's in JL44 history as he vaults 3-2 with "Can't Feel My Face" this week. With an 11 point gain and the difference now 4 points, The Weeknd is in great position to nab the summit next week. If that happens, the first half of Clauss' prediction last week will be correct:
I'm saying 2 weeks at #1, then CFMF 3 at top.
Will he be correct about the duration of CFMF's reign too? We'll see...
Rounding out the top 3 is Skrillex, Diplo, and Justin Bieber as they fall 2-3 with "Where Are U Now." Spots 4-7 stay put this week: Demi Lovato at #4 with "Cool For the Summer," Fifth Harmony and Kid Ink at #5 with "Worth It," Selena Gomez and A$AP Rocky at #6 with "Good For You," and The Weeknd at #7 with "The Hills."
Rounding out the top 10 at #8 is Zedd and Jon Bellion as they reach a new peak with "Beautiful Now," which first peaked at #10 in its 2nd week on the chart. Two new songs enter the top 10 this week as well, the first being Fall Out Boy's "Uma Therman," which rises 11-9 and Ed Sheeran's "Photograph" as it rises 12-10.
Outside the top 10, Carly Rae Jepsen nets this week's surprise jump as she vaults 21-13 with "Run Away With Me," Life of Dillon continues to shock everyone as he goes up 18-16 with "Overload," Sam Hunt rises 19-18 with "House Party," and X Amabassadors reaches the top 20 for the first time as "Renegades" moves 26-20. This week, 4 new songs enter, the highest entry being "My Way" by Fetty Wap ft. Monty.JL44's Top 44 as of 07•31•15 (WK118, Chart #192)TW:LW:PK:WKS01:01:01:13 Lean On by Major Lazer and DJ Snake ft.
