I was pleasantly surprised to hear this played as an Extra on Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 this pat weekend.
I was surprised that this song was able to hit #1 on CHR despite its lyrics: "I wanna take a ride on your disco stick."

Not counting BDR, this was her worst single pre-2011.

When I first heard this, it reminded me of Ace Of Base's "Don't Turn Around". It was a hot summer jam.

Loved it. This epitomized her image during that era and pretty much everything I used to love about her. Not as good as 'Just Dance', but probably right behind that as my favorite single from The Fame.

Definitely one of my favorites from her. I've always adored the melody.

My favorite single from The Fame. It's a shame it seems to be forgotten compared to the other singles from that album. The video was great. Simple, yet effective.

Eh, this was pretty boring for me. It definitely doesn't stick out amongst her other hits, IMO.

I actually love the production. But the hook on this one was really weak and the lyrics were kinda dreadful. The weakest single from her debut, but I still use it occasionally.

It's only "bad" because it pales in comparison to the other singles, but otherwise, it's a great song. That album was packed!

My favorite part of the song was always the "Hold me and love me, just wanna touch you for a minute" part. ESPECIALLY when she does the high note when saying "for". I have always loved that specific part for some reason.

Probably her most dated hit, the beat is alright for the time but now it sounds really cheap and the hook is pretty boring overall. I can see why this was a hit at the time, however I also see why this hasn't been remembered that well compared to her other hits.

I liked it at the time, but I find the song rather forgettable now.

I got the impression this song was meant to be the catch-phrase single (ie, memeable before memes were a thing) from the album, with the whole disco stick line, but because it basically got overshadowed by everything else, it didn't quite work out that way.
My least favourite single from the album but the competition is pretty stiff as it is.
