I don't get why she pays the Artpop singles so much dust (aside from GUY which is understandable cause it's cringey af). Do What U Want was actually one of her most non-polarizing hits and Applause is pure fun on top of being a hit too. I was just thinking about this! I know her biggest hits are from her first era, but at the SuperBowl she performed 4 songs from her first era (Fame/Fame Monster) and TWO songs from all the other eras combined! It's like she keeps reminding the general public that her prime was long ago... |

The Superbowl was exactly what the majority wanted from Lady Gaga, and they got it. It certainly went over a whole lot better than an extension of the dive bar thing would have. I think her using her real name for A Star Is Born is actually a very smart move. One reason why a lot of established celebrities have difficulty transitioning to film is because the second their name shows up on the screen, it immediately conjures up things that have nothing to do with an acting career. Granted, it's not guaranteed to work, but it's a sly way at least try to circumvent the perceptions of 'Lady Gaga'. |

Listened to AYO and realized how similar to voice is to the iconic Ashlee Simpson. It's also apparent on "You & I" and "Edge of Glory", as I could picture Ashlee's voice on that too.
They should collab, as I'm sure she's been one of Gaga's inspirations.
