"Bloodstream" is a song from Ed Sheeran, which is included on his second album x. The track will be released as the fourth single from the aforementioned album, but in a new version with Rudimental. This is what Ed told MTV UK on the red carpet of the BBC Music Awards 2014: No additional information besides the one posted above, so I'm going to add Rudimental as a co-lead artist since it's going to be their first single too, although I woudn't be surprised if Ed turns into a featured act in the release. Anyway, time will tell. Listen to the original version of "Bloodstream" here.

So, I'm guessing some sort of DnB sound?

So, I'm guessing some sort of DnB sound? Yeah, i think so too, as it is Rudimental's style. What i'm still confused is how a quite-mellow guitar track can be changed into a DnB track, which usually is uplifting. Of course, there is still a chance that it isn't a DnB. Maybe, Rudimental only gives some sort of additional bass, percussion, etc. ?

Oops! I think I forgot to mention that Rudimental and Ed performed this song at the Glastonbury Festival mid this year in the former's slot and it was very DnB.

This version hasn't been premiered at all correct?

This version hasn't been premiered at all correct? Not yet. There's only a live version from Glastonbury, so I'm guessing Ed's new single should be this too.

Rudimental mentioned that their new single is coming at 7pm UK time (same as Ed tweeted yesterday) and Max from Capital FM unveiled that she's dropping the song too at 10pm UK time, so looks like this is indeeed the new single from both acts.

That's a really good upgrade for this, definitely makes it more instant and single-friendly.

Disappointed. It sounds like the album version with the most paint-by-numbers drum'n'bass drop possible looped into the chorus.
Not bad as a remix, but as Rudimental album launcher? They're capable of so much more.

Prefer the album original to the remix version. One of my favorites from X. I hope it sees a NA release at some point. Much prefer this to his current single.

I'm glad he did that to be honest lol
It's a smart move.
Hope it becomes a success in the UK, Ireland and Oceania.

The original version of "Bloodstream" stays at #26 this week in the UK. However, the new version with Rudimental is out there and it's a #1 contender for next week.

And it didn't happen. "Bloodstream" climbs 24 spots to #2 this week after the version with Rudimental was out, being blocked by "Hold My Hand".
