Originally released in 2012, the Felix Jaehn remix of this song has gone to #1 in Denmark and Sweden this past year. It hits the U.K. on February 23.

I actually like the original solo by OMI much better. But certainly Felix Jaehn gave the song, and through it, the singer OMI greater international exposure.

I listened to this and was thinking it was okay. But then I had it stuck in my head for the next few songs I was listening to, and I went back and now I love it lol. I think the remix is better, but the original isn't bad.

this has also hit #1 in australia. Besides Australia, it was number 1 in Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands as well. It was Top 5 in Norway, and reached the Top 20 in Belgium, Finland and New Zealand.

Cheerleader is the first song to cross 1,000,000 streams on Spotify in one week in The Netherlands. :)

Moves up to number 1 in Ireland while making an early debut at #27 on the UK charts. Currently it's #2 on iTunes.

Finally, after 11 weeks, this isn't at #1 anymore on my country's Top 40 chart. I'm getting sick of it, srsly.

Currently it's #2 on iTunes. Lol serves them right for withholding the release for so long, even a fake version was top10...

Moves up to number 1 in Ireland while making an early debut at #27 on the UK charts. The song made its Top 40 debut last week at #37 in the UK, but it should be considered that it has been charting there since January. UK chart run: 96 - 86 - 73 - 76 - 70 - 72 - 86 - 91 - 75 - 72 - 61 - 47 - 37 - 27Currently it's #2 on iTunes. Lol serves them right for withholding the release for so long, even a fake version was top10... The fake version is still there? I thought it was going to be deleted when the original came out.

It was deleted but it managed to make the top10 before it was, they've lost plenty of sales by prolonging the release.

I heard this on a local CHR station here twice in the past week (so it's already getting some Kansas City love). It's not bad. I really love the trumpet part.

Fends off a strong debut by LunchMoney Lewis's "Bills" to hold on to the number 1 spot in the UK.
