Could someone tell me, for example how many views (approximately) does a song have to be considered as one of the top streamed songs of the week? And could you make a kinda prediction list(chart) of this week's most streamed songs? (I Know no-one can understand what I'm trying to say) For example: 1)Uptown Funk 2)Thinking Out loud 3)FourFiveSeconds 4)Style 5)Take Me To Church

LMLYD is up to #2 on iTunes! If it overtakes Uptown Funk today and holds its position, continues its big radio gains and maybe goes up a bit in streaming, I wouldn't be surprised if it went #1 next week (or at least top 3/2).
What is the sudden jump of Wonderland for?

What is the sudden jump of Wonderland for? I love LMLYD more than the majority of the top 10 songs but it hasn't that #1 vibe. I can't explain it, but Ellie has had some more #1 like-ish songs and this is gaining attention because of the movie! I'm not hating, as I said this is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite of the Top 10! Also, Wonderland was only available on the Target Exclusive edition of the album, so Taylor just released it on US iTunes because apparently it had a great appeal, and now more people can get it. It's not an official single though, but I think it might become at some point :)

I like Birthday a lot and the only thing I can think of as to why it didn't go top 10, is I think it's a relatable thing to the lyrics. Even tho the lyrics are good and make sense, your Birthday only comes around once/year. not that exciting to sing about treat me like it's my birthday today when it's not. maybe a part of the reason at least. It isn't a birthday song, though. She's singing about it making it his birthday everyday. It isn't a holiday song. I was disappointed in Style's initial performance after the video was released but now I'm happy that it will be top ten hit nevertheless.. She hasn't had too many third singles reaching top ten (because her album sales are so huge) I don't think you can blame that on album sales. Have any of her third singles (as in, mainstream/crossover) reached the top 10 in airplay? For whatever reasons, in general she hasn't strung together pop hits (until now, it seems). Is everyone here wanting TOL to hit #1 this week? I am. UF is great but time for Ed to get his I feel like the only one who doesn't want TOL to hit #1. It is kinda boring and slow IMO, but Uptown Funk is getting annoying, so i'm like half and half right now leaning to uptown Funk. I like Ed, seems like a good guy, but "TOL" is poorly written to me. It's so redundant. "don't work like they used to before" (no need for "before") and then that "evergreen" line where he's already defined "evergreen" but still has to sing it. Ugh.

I'm listening to it right now to see what you're talking about. I think it's a great song tho. The evergreen part doesn't bother me at all. His voice is insane good to me in that song. but that's why music is cool it affects us all differently.

I don't know why, but to me Thinking Out Loud is barely listenable. I'm not a big fan of Uptown Funk, but at least its fairly catchy.

If I recall, to people who think a slight lead "won't" get a number one, John Legend barely reached No. 1 with "All of Me" back in May of last year. Things have changed since then though (streaming points dropped a little and radio points dropped more). If I recall, the song was #1 on pop radio at the time but had dropped off the top spot on streaming and on-demand charts and dropped to #4 on digital charts after Iggy Azalea's Fancy and Ariana Grande's Problem came out.

What kind of lead has "UF" had in Billboard airplay lately? Obviously "TOL" is going to need a big enough lead in sales and streaming to overcome that difference. "UF" has a fairly large lead via Mediabase, but BDS will have lower numbers for both.

Those are strong stream counts for the Drake tracks, in just three days and change. I do wonder how many entries he'll have. 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' beat out Drake's last album for the most-streamed debut week in Spotify history. Drake's surprise album has set records on Spotify. The music-streaming service said Tuesday (Feb. 17) that the rapper's new album, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, set the record for most streams from an album in its debut week in the U.S. The album, released Friday, was streamed more than 17.3 million times in three days.Drake's 2013 album, Nothing Was the Same, previously had the record for most streams in a debut week with 15.8 million. The new album also set a record for most streams in a single day for an album in the U.S. with 6.8 million streams on Saturday.

Is that the sum of all the tracks, or plays of the album straight through? I'd think the former, but thought I'd ask. :)

Wow, Uptown Funk's stream gains last week must've been small. Like I said, if TOL is the new number one, it would be a very close margin!

What kind of lead has "UF" had in Billboard airplay lately? Obviously "TOL" is going to need a big enough lead in sales and streaming to overcome that difference. "UF" has a fairly large lead via Mediabase, but BDS will have lower numbers for both. Judging from what's been posted, Ed slightly leads on sales and YouTube streams (and was in dead heat on Spotify streams so UF! might at least gain the On-Demand chart but would probably drop to #2 on Streaming). The radio airplay gains weren't much for UF. TOL's gains were slightly more if you go on what Mediabase and Kworb posted last week (at no point during last week did TOL's audience gains go below a million whereas UF's audience gains were below a million). Very interesting...

Yet in December Spotify said J. Cole had the most streams with 15.7 million in a debut week. Regardless, that's amazing because I was one of the people not willing to shell out my coins for a mixtape.

Is there any other clips that may contribute to TOL stream? Does live performance video count? Anything?? I'm just hoping that TOL could have at least 1,5 Million lead in Stream, as it will be what it take to defeat UF if my calculation is right.

Looks like Ellie Goulding is officially a contender for Number one, with her song reaching number one on iTunes.
