Wrecking Ball verse teas
I'm not sure if Tove Lo was involved on this one, but she did write for the album. With Max and Shellback involved, there's probably going to be a lot of Wolf Cousins involvement.

such a shame that "Never Close Our Eyes" flopped, that song was a smash NCOE was excellent. Hopefully this song can get him back some traction on radio.

Dying in your dreams, you say...? If I'm not mistaken, (and assuming it is metaphor) it's been quite a while since we've heard about this kind of, erm, dying...in song:

^ First thing I thought of was his most popular cover he did on Idol, Mad World, and the lyric "The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I ever had"

so it seems like whistling in songs has a become a thing now Nah hes about 3 years late. 2012 we had Moves like Jagger, Whistle, It girl, and a bunch of copycats use whistling in their songs.

Hope this lives up to the great reviews. Sounds like it has the potential to be his biggest hit. Fingers crossed.

all these reviews are nice and of course i'm excited but these let's see what happens upon release. i've seen too many singles be hyped up by dj's on twitter ("omg smash hit in the making") only to not get much radio play once out.

Yeah the hype around Judas was ridiculous I remember a British site saying it was as good as Bad Romance (which is a ridiculous statement to make even if Judas was a good song)

The UK great reviews doesn't mean nothing at all. He always get that kind of reviews before the releasing of the albums. I find curious, because he is not a big star in UK (at least he wasn't before touring with Queen). I think Never close our eyes is his biggest hit there and it peaked at 13 (if my memory doesn't fail). But he received similar reviews before the release of Tresspassing.
I think the most positive thing is that this time the label is going to support the release, and i think he is popular enough to carry some good sales based on fans only at first, so if the label really support him, this time he'll get airplay, and the rest will be easier

Really dont hold with the 'label didnt support him' line. Why would they do that? He had some good gigs for his last major singles, for instance a prime American Idol slot for NCOE, but it had little sales impact. This issue was dated music (and imo image) which didnt appeal to pop radio. It looks like he has modernised musically, and maybe its not quite too late....we'll see, but his sale trends arent hopeful.

Sorry but the lack of support of his last era wasn't an invention, it was quite obvious. And it's not only him, that's the usual treatment talent show contestants receive. Once they cashed on the popularity after the show the label cut the expenses to the minimum, if it works, great, if not, there are a lot more talent show contestants out of shows. The first era was really bad handled, the release of the first single was a freak show and a waste oportunity, but the second it was way worse. And frankly fire a singer but announce you are going to release a greatest hits album of that singer is distasteful. And what appeal and what not to pop radio depends a lot of the money the label wanted to put on it. There are songs playing on the radio that doesn't seem to appeal to anyone, but they played them anyway

I'm trying to avoid these reviews and not let myself hype this up. Very excited to hear it though.
