We will see what See You Again does in airplay over the next eight days. Currently, theres over 200 million difference in audience impressions. Obviously by next Wednesday that will be much less. But, if See You Again can manage a 200k sales lead, it should take #1 next week. I would guess it'll be another big weekend for F&F7 at the box office, so that should keep the song selling well through Sunday night. Wiz's sales lead and Mark's airplay lead will more or less cancel each other out. It'll all come down to streaming. Wiz is ahead on Spotify, but YouTube/VEVO streams seem to hold much more power. Wiz's video is now available on his VEVO channel, but most of its streams are coming from the Facebook video (20 million now!) or the F&F7 page on YouTube which is listed under "Movies" or something. So basically, 90% of Wiz's music video streams won't count. Yeah, but the label isn't limiting the audio to just those two YouTube channels. There are a lot of videos using the audio and getting 1 million + views.

Is Furious 7 what's got "See You Again" selling as well as it is? Cameron Jibril Thomaz has only had three top 10s as a lead act.

Wow, Uptown Funk will easily break the record unless some huge artist drops a surprise single or something.

I love Uptown Funk, but honestly I don't want it to break the record of One Sweet Day. So better snatch that #1 from UF, See You Again! Yay for Shut Up and Dance. It's #2 on iTunes! Fall Trap Queen fall! Definitely the worst song in the top 10. Want To Want Me, please enter the top 10 and replace that sh*t. Hang on there TOL and Style.

By the end of the week UF will still have a 200M AI lead over SYA. Even with double the sales, it's not going to be #1.

I can see Shut Up and Dance coming for the top 10 soon. Currently #2 on iTunes and has a .2889 rating to SYA

Sales will drop off after the first week and the airplay isn't there to sustain it at #1.

Everything going on (momentum) is reeking from UF not even getting a 15th week at #1. SYA (sales alone) I think are gonna be massive and that's not including streams whatever the amount. Could not clearer that across the board support for UF is crashing. Plus, Sugar is ahead and other songs are catching up! Forget about #1, wouldnt be surprised if UF falls to #3 next week or the week after lol. Airplay is starting to def. fall now for UF while Sugar is STILL gaining overall and it's only Tuesday! lol.
W/ the way the system is now I think it's just gonna be very, very hard for a song to top 13-15 weeks at #1 (as songs are not just dependent on airplay/sales anymore) which was an easier system to manipulate. However, oddly this new system actually benefits UF cause under the old system I believe #1 for SYA would basically a 100% done deal just based on the huge sales it's gonna prob. get. I'd be the first to say since it's only Tues there's time for SYA to slow down but this is a VERY different kind of song than BBHMM lol. In a way I'll be happier if UF only gets 14 weeks vs 15 'cause if what happening now happened next week I would've been more salty (as it would of only been a week away from tying the record). Keep in mind FF7 was pushed back a bit. If it came out even a few weeks ago, months ago or whatever, UF wouldnt have even gotten this far.

Im pretty good but not a chart guru like you hopefully are lol. Like I just said in another post, Id actually prefer UF to just give up the crown at 14 weeks than 15 at this point. lol If UF somehow gets 15, just watch them totally not get 16 and not at least tie.

Well the consolation prize (also invloves Mariah). 14 will tie Black Eyed Peas and Mariah for the century record at 14 weeks.

Well the consolation prize (also invloves Mariah). 14 will tie Black Eyed Peas and Mariah for the century record at 14 weeks. If it ties, pretty sure far as overall points (the bigger song) will end up UF!. Its airplay and stream lead alone is still super high and will likely stay in the top 5 for many wore weeks. WBT and even IGY didnt have streaming. WBT didnt even have that much sales (was mainly airplay). So, due to those factors, UF most likely will end up the bigger song out of all 3

Sales will drop off after the first week and the airplay isn't there to sustain it at #1. Yes but that's only IF the sales do in fact drop significantly. SYA is getting consistent dark greens for a few days and is showing no signs of slowing down yet. By the end of the week UF will still have a 200M AI lead over SYA. Even with double the sales, it's not going to be #1. Hope youre right. Im pretty good but not a chart guru like you hopefully are lol. I disagree about rather having 14 weeks than 15. 15 is a much bigger achievement IMO; 7 songs have gotten to 14 but only 1 song has gotten to 15. I'll be very happy with 15 weeks at #1 (of course I'll be happier with 16 but now only time will tell. It will depend solely on SYA and how soon its sales start sliding and whether or not a video will actually be uploaded to YouTube and generate lots of streams. As of now, UF still has a huge lead in streaming and airplay so the question lies in whether or not SYA will have enough of a sales lead to make up for that. With the old formula, it would've probably been a done deal at this point. Streaming might be able to save UF...

Sales will drop off after the first week and the airplay isn't there to sustain it at #1. Thats ironically what happened with WBT. It lost a week to Carrie Underwood! Otherwise Mariah easily wouldve gotten 15 weeks and had the longest #1 single for a solo artist. She'll still share the longest #1 w/ Boyz II Men.

I can't believe Candy Shop had nine weeks at the top; I didn't recall it lasting that long. Talk about #1s that are barely remembered...

Not gonna lie I don't care THAT much about the record but I'm gonna be bummed out if it doesn't pass 14 weeks considering that it had all the right cards in hand with a huge lead over the next-highest increasing song in week 14 :(

One of the best examples (and worst era in R&R history) 1999-05/06 of quality..almost iconic songs (SUBG) that got *robbed due to the most ridiculous reasons. SUBG is possibly one of the best, beloved, remembered, overplayed songs from the past 10 years.

Since it prob wouldnt matter (I'm SURE if the lead and momentum weren't so big) the discount would be happening this second or any moment. All it would be is desperate now.

Again, though we'll see. There are still more than a few people who still insist the airplay and streaming (far as we know) are still enough to block SYA. They may be right but Im gonna go w/ my gut what's just looking logical. If it was even a 50%ish lead and SYA was at least getting a FEW red updates, Id be more open minded. The fact the green updates continue and its lead is increasing and Sugar even pulling ahead lol, well...already made my point ;).
