On October 31, at 12:51 pm, Kurt let me enter the world of Pulse.

On November 3, I debuted my Top 44 chart for all to see.

On January 31, I showed all of you the 125 songs that made my 2014 chart...

...but what about my all time favorites?

Well guys, in 10 days, I will reach the 104th tracking week since I began my chart. Reaching 2 years is a great milestone to reach and looking back at all my charts, I have had several great and memorable songs come and go. But which ones are the best? Starting in 12 days, I will begin and implement a new annual chart:

JL44's All Time Chart

What is this chart you all ask? Well, this is going to be a chart that will show you the top 100 songs that have made the chart since the beginning. This will also become an annual chart that will be updated every year around May 3, the day I began my chart.

Who will make the cut? Find out on April 26.

This chart goes into early 2013. This is gonna be a little lengthy history lesson, just warning ya, but this may help some with why I'm choosing that specific time period and it may also answer a few other questions you and/or others might regarding this chart:

As you might already know, I listened to oldies and classics the first 18 years of my life and in April 2011, I made a Top 100 list of my all time favorite oldies and classics. I heard my first mainstream song, "I Gotta Feeling" in 2010 and I loved it, which got me into listening to the Black Eyed Peas. But it never really jump-started my interest in mainstream music. Over the next 2.5 years, I heard "Party Rock Anthem," "We Found Love," "Rolling in the Deep," and a few other songs that I liked from my acquaintances' phones or from weddings. But it wasn't until late December 2012 that I got into it. On an AC radio station I listened to for the first time, I heard "Don't You Worry Child" for the first time and afterwards, I listened for about a few hours to some others songs on that station. I liked those songs as well. That Christmas 2012, I got my first tablet and I used it to research other songs and download some songs I heard on the radio stations.

Just last month, I found and recovered about 10 note cards that I made of my top 30 favorite songs at a given period between January 2013 and April 2013. For those cards, I have already scaled the point values of those songs into one week intervals between dates and added to the all time chart. Around the end of April, I had so many great songs I couldn't just single out 30 songs, so I decided to make a top 100 list. That list started May 3, and although my all time chart expands into the beginning of 2013, that's the date I'm gonna be updating the all time chart every year because of two reasons:

1. It's the date I started an official personal chart.
2. The same week I started this chart, I started following Billboard's charts.

In the first 3 months of my chart, over half the songs on my chart were old Hot 100 hits and a few were current Hot 100 hits. That Hot 100 percentage gradually increased over those 3 months. Nowadays, almost 100% of the songs on my chart every week are Hot 100 hits.

From May 3 to August 1, 2013, I made 20 charts over 13 weeks, and I scaled the point values for those songs by 30%. From August 2, 2013 to November 10, 2014, I made a chart twice a week, every Monday and Friday. Point values were scored based on the song's ranking for every chart (44 points for #1, 1 point for #44) Starting November 14, 2014, I made only one chart a week, and that's every Friday as you all know. Since the majority of the charts I made followed a biweekly scoring method, for every chart I made after November 14, I doubled the point values of every song for that particular week. So for example, the #1 song for a week gets 88 points and the #44 song gets 2 points.

That's basically my chart history in a nutshell. Hope that answers some questions you all have!
