In an interview FKi did with Complex back in May, they hinted that a reunion with Iggy was possibly in the works, and - at least - one of the results of that is Rich's explosive new track over the FKi and Dun Deal beat. "The lord says my love for Iggy has never changed. Every time she worked with us we was f**king Kicking It and the Zooly Magic happened organically. Edit: So according to her tweets a couple days ago she didn't even know about it, her part was from an old demo called "Choppa" (so they put it out without telling her).

"Yes, I'm going to tour here, definitely in the first half of next year," Azalea told AAP during the event at Cafe Sydney. "Once my album comes out I plan to come back and it will happen. I just don't want to do it until my album is out. I don't want to do anything until my album is out. So once that happens I will cement a plan and I will let you guys know," she said.

Azalea released her debut album, The New Classic, last year with plans to do a full US tour later this year entitled The Great Escape. However, the tour was first postponed and ultimately cancelled, the rapper citing a creative change of heart.

"I kind of ran into trouble with that, the last album, where I thought I was done and I started making plans ahead of time, and I made commitments and then I didn't, and it really delayed the album a lot having to go back and forth. So I just want to make sure that I'm sure it's finished before I make any more commitments," she said.

This time she wants to make sure that her second album, which she's currently working on, is well and truly in the bag before she goes out on the road. And the wheels are already in motion for her home tour. "I definitely have offers and there's things on the table that we're talking about but I don't want to put anything in stone until I'm one hundred per cent sure that I'm finished with the album," she said.

She knows going so far left with new music that it alienates the existing Pop fanbase she's acquired would be a feasting day for all of her critics and overshadow the music, even if it is legitimately great. Even if it's just 1-2 tracks, I expect some fully mainstream material from the new album.

True, but by doing that she could easily fall in the same approach she said she had with TNC (which ended up not being a very cohesive project because she tried to please different formats etc) and going by that recent interview in Australia where she was talking about her new album I feel like she might be doing this (just working with "her friend" on this project) exactly to get away from that and have a solid body of work instead of being worried making sure she has the potential "hit singles" ready (which is probably not the right strategy for her commercially considering she became popular thanks to those singles and finding that mainstream balance but maybe she doesn't feel fulfilled creatively as like I said there's such a huge change from her mixtape days to where she is or was a few months ago with the Reclassified era having stuff like Trouble and PG out)

Well yea but Def Jam was dumb enough to put out Reclassified (in a way it wouldn't even count towards TNC's overall sales in the 1st place) and basically stall her momentum + then allowed her not to shoot a video for its lead single (which could've been a bigger hit) something thats always helped her previous songs campaigns and on top of that book an arena tour without new music out, then postpone it, etc (although I'm not sure if that's up to Def Jam or her mgmt lol) plus a bunch of other stupid decisions in the past that I don't even remember anymore so I wouldn't put anything past them I still remember when her fans had to write a letter and deliver it to the DJ offices after she gave them the name of the president or something so they'd release CYL on iTunes US back in late 2013

If she didn't retire while on mixtapes I highly doubt she'd do it now after an incredibly successful debut era. And even if she flops commercially from now on she most likely already has spare money to bankroll enough albums to keep you lowkey perched in her album threads looking for the latest news for a few more years

I'd say let's not in general until we get to hear the music period. (what if it actually ends up not being top 40-bait like its kinda expected of her now?)
People tend to overreact and do alot of reaching overall when it comes to her career (both negatively and positively) and I think hinting at retirement from making music in her 20s when thats whats been filling her bank account for the past half decade esp with the stats she had in the past year definitely fits that statement
