I think she prob means no "main single" iTunes releases since she said the Zillion track is a part of the album & the Demi feature will also be there when her album's released in October right lmao

Anyway I'm glad we're already getting new music!! I'm excited for the new sound and a new video! I wonder if the track is produced by D.R.U.G.S.

Hasn't shot the video for the buzz track yet. When asked if itll be based off a movie again: "no, revamping things was for the new classic. this is totally dif. i will still creative direct things tho."
(I still have no idea when Zillion's dropping could be this week or in 2 months considering how often she changes her mind I guess lol)
We might get to hear the actual lead single "as early as December".
Kinda hinted the Lil Kim collab could still be in the works (won't be on her album tho).
Documentary is no longer happening, the network that approached her wanted it to be way too "reality tv" for her and she wanted to keep it about the music.
Album scheduled to be released "at the start. ish" of 2016.

To be fair he'd probably still get more checks from her than most (all?) of Hustle Gang's members combined anyway + he didn't toss her back when she truly wasn't making any splash at all so it's weird he'd do it now because of that imo.

She's clarifying/responding to something that's been in the press all day about her (and isn't exactly positive press either) thru her own personal account, it's not like she was rude towards him and she implies they or their team already had a talk behind the scenes with the "He seems to think theres nothing wrong with what he said, everybody else seems to disagree" tweet.

I think Iggy/her team are probably being influenced by all the those clickbait titles because of the initial misleading video title, maybe he's unaware of the big mess caused and is basing his opinion/thinks his actual comments from the interview were nbd, however the overreaction by the media did/does kinda warrant a statement to clear things up but w/e.

:duh: the media (and Hot 97) truly are the f**king worst (and yea Iggy herself doesn't rly know how to deal with these situations the best way either -I guess it takes us back to the whole tragic PR team discussion we had on this thread or something a while ago- but she's young, she has time although I like that we get to hear directly from her what she thinks too but she's no longer an independent artist I guess, she needs to start playing the fake Hollywood game so she can have a chance with the media again.)

T.I is a great business man and actually knows what it takes to succeed in the industry. I too would be frustrated if someone you're trying to teach never gets the lesson. Glad he didn't completely toss her as she probably needs someone in her corner nowadays more than ever. Poor girl one minute blowing up the next.....lesson have humility on the way up because then maybe on the way down people will actually care enough to root for you.

Well he did go to jail for some stupid ass s**t during his career peak among other nonsense stuff that sometimes pops up associated to him so let's not give him too much credit now even if he's still around and being savvy enough leeching off artists like Iggy as I do appreciate a big portion of his music.

I assume you missed her actual first headlining tour last year that started a few days after the album dropped.
The one that got cancelled was supposed to be a transition for the new album where she'd do stuff from both eras.

She scrapped all the material she already had for that and started over tho so now there will be a complete new tour planned around Iggy's new album next year as well.

Ohh that's not what the edit in my post was for though. T.I. is a hip-hop legend, I do not want to take anything away from him.
I was simply referring to the previous post stating Iggy can probably find better artists to look up to in terms of career and business moves as he hardly has a perfect track record as well. He did have his own stupid decision-making moments and he did give it away a bit while he was on top of his game music career-wise.....

At the end of the day he was/is still making good business moves by "backing" the likes of B.o.B, Iggy, Travis Scott even and I guess you could say Thug lately to an extent with all their collabs and planned work together etc which has clearly allowed him to stay out there a bit longer as their work (when he's making a point to claim them at least, lol) has arguably overshadowed his own ever since he got out.

He def is savvy alright, I mean he could've just shrugged off at that question on Hot 97 too and not allow them to twist/run with it, but then he prob wouldn't have made all those headlines/his interview wouldn't be reaching almost 1 million in less than a couple weeks either and a lot of people that bothered to watch it cuz of that probably wouldn't know he put a project out last week either so I suppose I can't be mad at his ways.

The LEAD single is now coming this month.
So is the buzz track "Zillion", she said we'll have to wait for the roll out.
First performance already booked.
Already shot the album cover, but its a collab w another artist so its not done yet.
She played the album for Def Jam tonight, will start getting some features now.
Album in 2016 with new tour.
