Disclosure will be joining Annie Mac on her BBC Radio 1 show to present the Hottest Record this Tuesday according to the description of the radio programme posted on that day. That said, there's still no information if this will be their lead single or it will be another cut from their sophomore album / a standalone release like "Bang That", which was premiered on her BBC Radio 1's Friday Night show as the Special Delivery early this month.

Confirmed by Disclosure that the track will be called "Holding On" and it will be premiered tomorrow on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show.

I really like it! Not a huge departure from Settle but love the deep groove on this one.
I assume there'll be a different single for the US though? Because this isn't hooky enough for American radio.

I like it too, and I also wouldn't be surprised if we get a different US single (Gregory Porter is also bigger in the UK than in the US, as far as I know, perhaps in part due to his connections with Jamie Cullum). (p.s. allow that - Gregory Porter is a jazz vocalist; he won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album last year. If you know of Jamie Cullum, Laura Mvula, or Ben L'Oncle Soul, he's worked with all of them.)

I also like the track and I agree that this may be only an overseas release and the US will get another one. Also, although it's not a departure from Settle, I'm not complaining at all because the album was one of my favourites from 2013 and I keep listening to it quite oftenly. Probably Jimmy Napes too. During the interview with Annie Mac today (around the 6:38 min. mark), Howard mentioned that he, Gregory Porter and Jimmy Napes wrote the track, which was originally a slow tempo one and then, after it was recorded, Guy and him remixed it.

Eh, I find this disappointing, easily my least favorite single from them. It's not that I was expecting a big departure from Settle, but they pretty much took the exact same elements that composed that and made a track that's of a lesser quality than most of it.

Yea this could be better, but its still pretty good...it has the a similar beat to their remix of Good Kisser which I absolutely love. I like that Disclosure continues to work with non-mainstream artists...given how big they've become they could have done a track with a pop artist that would blow up

With more listens I like it increasingly more as a song but less and less as a single/hype track. It sounds like a very solid album track but doesn't knock the way a song that introduces an era should. Maybe it's their plan to come with something that has minimal hit potential to avoid stressful expectations, but I mean they definitely could deliver a smash so why not try?

The production isn't anything fresh or new from them, but it's palatable in the sense that it fits into what we have already heard from them. I think the true highlight of this are Gregory's vocals. I admit never heard of him until now, but what a fucking voice and the primary reason I'll be revisiting this quite a bit I'm sure.

I forgot this is even out. I added it to my current playlist but that intro drags on for so long that I skip the song before it even really starts.
