Not to ruin anyone's spirit or anything, but didn't the Cumulus block save a low-charting song, motor it to the Top 30, then completely drop it? I forgot which song it was, but it was from this year. #DontBeRaecist I'm not being Raecist, I actually love this song. But everyone is acting like Cumulus is going to save the day lol. This deserves to be bigger than "Call Me Maybe", but it sadly won't, and it doesn't look like Interscope is helping its case at all. |

This has to turn around. I wasn't a big fan of the video at first, but after watching it a couple times I appreciate all the sights into it, and am actually happy with it not having any sort of standard plot. What do you all think of the video? Should it be reshot if this takes off? I think it's perfectly fine. Save the money for some TV spot dates, or perhaps the funding for the follow-up single! |

carly is not hot Ac artist. yea she is in her late 20's but her materials so far have been very top 40, most likely she'll be call me maybe girl forever. she needs this to blow up on pop before Hot Ac would even consider supporting her

I'm more than thrilled with the return of this song!!! My only concern is if Interscope will start pushing this again because if other radio stations don't jump on it, it's bound to fall again.

Can we just take a moment to recognize that the "Who Knew" situation was so unprecedented, and that that sort of thing is so uncommon, that it's still our reference point and that was like 8 years ago.
Couldn't have happened to a better song, too.

I don't like referencing the 'Who Knew' situation in this case. That flopped, then another single became a #1 BEFORE it was re-released and became the big hit it is now known as. Nothing of the sort has happened here - they pulled the plug prematurely (bobbing in and out of the top 50 was annoying, yes - but pulling the adds date really hurt it too), then let it sit there for a month before Cumulus just added it on an apparent whim. The label did not re-release it, they didn't release anything else in its stead, the two scenarios are not comparable.

There's no way they didn't re-push this. The Cumulus block adding this is some good old fashioned radio-label politics going on.

No, it's actually the best update in the 41-50 range today. In fact, #36 is the next highest song with a better update, as far as spins go. Its AI, though, is very lacking. Its bullet is healthy, though. The bullet did drop by one today, but that's only because this time last week is when the good updates started happening. It apparently got a +45 last Sunday compared to this Sunday's +44. That's pretty consistent, though. Hopefully that keeps up, otherwise it's going to get stuck in this range of the chart. And in other good news, this managed a second day in the top 50 after re-enters. It's already been in the top 50 longer in its second run than in its first. |

I think this is actually its third time in the top 50.  It had an official peak of #50 about a month ago, then got kicked out the next day. It spent another day at #50 mid-week before being kicked again. Today marks only its 3rd day in the top 50 according to Kworb. Which is weird, because now that I think about it, this is its fourth day, right? Edit: Ah, it was only in on the 8/23 published chart, but out on the 8/24 chart.
