October and one week in December are where all the 4th quarter r&b albums go to die so I can't get too worked up about that.

I'm surprised they're still going with the Joyride title since the track it was named after got snatched from her, and I'm not really expecting anything pre-Superlove to make the cut (or at least nothing that we've heard).

I was jamming to that yesterday. Smash that could have been, but seeing how it got pretty much ignored by the label...wouldn't be surprised to see it get left off, but hopefully it at least makes it as a deluxe track or something.

She confirmed that Party Favors will be on the album which I'm very meh about. It's grown on me but Ride of Your Life really deserves that album placement. There are two more Tricky and The-Dream tracks as well.

Hmm. This makes me wonder if all the urban stuff still made the cut then, and the poppish stuff that was bound to go nowhere b/c RCA wasn't going to back her at CHR for real got scrapped.

I like Party Favors. It didn't get as much replay value as "Ride of Your Life"; however, I wouldn't mind it on the album.

Ride of Your Life is the only new song from her that I actually like. Superlove is cute, but nothing special & imo it's not the song that could esablish her. She needs Aquarious/Mixtapes quality w/ better menagement & PR team. RCA should get their s*** together and really support this girl.

RCA is just trash with its R&B division. It sucks to say she was doomed from the start signing with them.

Things haven’t exactly gone smoothly for Tinashe this era. The rising star’s sophomore LP has been delayed for almost a year (there’s still no official release date) and the singles have failed to connect. “Player” suffered from an unnecessary Chris Brown feature and “Superlove” just seemed a little lightweight in comparison to breakthrough hits “2 On” and “All Hands On Deck.” Fingers crossed it’s a case of third time lucky when she releases a new single called “Company” on Friday (September 16). The album pre-order is also rumored to start that day, so everything could be coming together finally.

“When I think about Joyride, I think it really takes you on a journey,” Tee told DJ Toro in June. “I always love not being able to be in one particular box, so I would definitely not say that it’s either ‘2 On’ nor is it ballads. It’s somewhere in between. There is a ballad and there is, like, some club songs. But, you know, there’s everything. There’s something for every type of moods.” The hitmaker also revealed that she’s working with heavyweight producers like Ritz Reynolds, Boi-1da, The-Dream and Timbaland. “We done a lot of amazing stuff,” she added.

"Company" sounds like the strongest Urban record of her career but I don't see it doing much for HER, she has no street appeal.

I really don't hear consistency with the output of music we've heard from her during the "Joyride" era and it's kind of upsetting because Aquarius was so good.
