Is it a sample video? Like first look? Just something to help streaming after the Grammys? And a full fledged update video later on?? That's what I assumed it was going to be from the tweet, but it's the full thing. I'm not sure why they'd release a full video that's not the actual video as a teaser for the actual video... |

Best Country Solo is being awarded on the broadcast tonight. The same source has her listed as the 3rd performance of the night, as well. ETA: "Humble And Kind" winning Country Song makes me think Carrie stands a strong chance at Solo. |

Pls universe, make this collab happen. Uhh.... no pls. Yeah... I'm all for Carrie doing cross-genre collabs, but Rihanna is not high on the list of artists I'd like to see her with. I'd love to hear her on an EDM song (Zedd, Calvin Harris, etc.) and when it comes to pop diva duets, I'm still holding out hope for a Kelly/Carrie duet one day. |

Anyway, decent performance of "The Fighter," but that song is very production-driven, which means it's a tough sell on a show like the Grammys. It's not a 'moment' type of song. It's always good to see Carrie get a high profile performance, but that track isn't one that lets her shine on a live stage.

Honestly, the live performance made me a fan of the song. It's just fun, and they provided a really energetic and happy 3 minutes to the program. It was great seeing her there last night.
Honestly, I don't think we've ever seen her as happy as she is now, and especially last night. From the carpet to the performance, and all the way to interacting with the likes of Rihanna, Ed, and Beyonce in the crowd, it just seemed like she's enjoying the hell out of her life, and deservedly so. Don't care that she lost; she'll win more. But homegirl has as many GRAMMYs as all the country artists that were nominated against her combined. I'm glad Maren got it; she deserved it, too.

That would be the best outcome, although I don't quite agree with Miranda keep getting awarded Album of the Year for every single one of her albums, as if by default. The Album field is weak this year though, so yeah, there is a high chance Miranda is taking it home. Carrie's biggest threat for EOTY is definitely Keith. |
