Do none of these media outlets realize Carrie has pretty much always had shoulder-length hair, she just usually wears extensions? Hopefully she keeps it natural for a while - I think the shorter hair looks great on her.

Fun little tidbit. She's played the Opry 52 times.

Hahaha, that collage really conveys the level of commitment to Carrie fandom.
EDIT: Okay, does anyone have a video of her Opry debut? I seem to remember that not being broadcasted, so it may be a long-shot.

So, does anyone have a "wish list" for Carrie's set list for the upcoming tour?
I know the following songs will be included, because of obvious reasons (them being recent hits and also her biggest previous hits. Including the 2 singles from the Greatest Hits set that she hasn't performed on tour before):
1. Jesus, Take the Wheel 2. Before He Cheats 3. Blown Away 4. Something in the Water 5. Little Toy Guns 6. Smoke Break 7. Heartbeat
If it were up to me, I'd leave out "Smoke Break" and "Heartbeat" but I think it's clear that they'll be on the set list. In addition to those, I really want to see the following songs performed as well (in no particular order):
7. Wasted 8. Don't Forget to Remember Me (acoustic) 9. So Small 10. Last Name 11. I Know You Won't 12. Cowboy Casanova 13. Undo It 14. See You Again mashup (w/Wiz Khalifa's) 15. Good Girl 16. Renegade Runaway 17. Dirty Laundry 18. Church Bells 19. Choctaw County Affair 20. Chaser/Relapse mashup 21. Mexico
I didn't include "Two Black Cadillacs" because I'm not a huge fan of that one live, and I'd much rather see an "oldie" like "So Small" or "Don't Forget to Remember" take its place on the set list this time around. :) I also left off "All-American Girl" and "I Told You So".
Also, I am taking 2 friends with me this time who absolutely LOVE "Chaser" and "Relapse", and they will be so disappointed if she doesn't perform those.

Hopefully she drops "I Know You Won't" this time. It's not exactly a career highlight nor was it even a single. There are several songs that should be included before that one.

1. JTTW 2. BHC 3. AAG 4. LN 5. CC 6. UI 7. GG 8. BA 9. TBC 10. SYA Mashup 11. SITW
These 11 songs will be in the setlist with the possible exception of CC, but I'm fairly certain that will make it. If you honestly think AAG should get cut... I think all 4 BA singles are a shoe-in as is SITW. LTG I could maybe see her cutting out but that one's fairly likely. Both SB and HB will also be included.
12. SB 13. HB 14. A cover of some sort
Then 6-8 tracks from Storyteller. Likely candidates: RR, DL, CB, CCA, either Chaser OR Relapse (not both), Mexico.
I would imagine she's probably gonna throw in an oldie. I would like to see her do something like what Kelly Clarkson did on her PxP tour, where she does a "throwback" to a random song off a previous album every night. (A different song every night.)
Add me to the list who could do without IKYW for the 10,000th time.

IKYW may not have been a smash single, but it's one of her best vocals live. And I find it more enjoyable live than "I Told You So". "All-American Girl" is just a snooze fest, so I'm hoping she excludes that, although I doubt she will.
We haven't heard "Don't Forget to Remember Me", "So Small", and "Just a Dream" on tour in quite some time, so it would nice for one of those to make an appearance, especially SS.

My heart stopped at "All-American Girl is just a snooze fest". That's one of her best songs ever. :'( We obviously have very different tastes in Carrie's music. But, I think that's what makes Carrie so great; her music is diverse enough to appeal to lots of different people and tastes. :)

Personally, I'd love to hear her sing "Some Hearts" on tour. I haven't seen Carrie in concert since she was on the American Idol tour in 2005 (hardly a show, even), so I've essentially missed everything. There are a list of tracks I'd love to hear live, but probably never will.

She did SH every night during the PO Tour in 2010. I'm sure it'll come up at some point again.
She can replace "I Told You So" or "Temporary Home" with "Wine After Whiskey" on this next tour as an apology for paying it complete dust during the Blown Away Tour.

"Temporary Home" is one of the only songs of hers that I really can't handle. I'm just so bored every time I hear it. Then again, I can barely listen to Play On as a collective effort because it lacks the majority of things about Carrie that I love as a listener. I'd be down to hear "I Told You So" live, though, because she does it so beautifully.
Moreover, if she were to perform "You Won't Find This," "The More Boys I Meet," and even "That's Where It Is," I'd be pretty content. I would swap out every single from the PO era for those tracks, save potentially for "Cowboy Casanova," which is far more listenable than the rest.

I've always been a fan of Relapse, but now I totally get why y'all see it as a single! I'm totally on board for it being released after Heartbeat, Choctow County Affair, and Church Bells!

Although this will probably be the first Carrie tour I'll have to miss since her "Some Hearts" tour era, I'll need video footage of "Relapse". It has become my favorite song from the album and it needs to be a single and performed live.

Yeah "Smoke Break" literally flopped. "Heartbeat" will hopefully do better. Where is it at iTunes?

I know that 300k seems like nothing for Carrie's lead single but how does it compare to the sales of other #1s by the formats leading artists in the second half of the year?

Alright, I gotta say it: color me underwhelmed with this album and era so far. I haven't so much as listened to the album since Nov 13 (the day 1D's new album came out) and haven't felt the need to either apart from "Relapse". I hate to say it, but this is by far and away my least favorite album from Carrie so far. :/

I'm very happy for Carrie at this stage in her career! She's just released what I would argue is her best album to date, and is exceeding professionally and personally. One of the things I love about Storyteller in particular is how comfortable and mature she sounds; she's in touch with her artistry and strength as a vocalist and writer. There's a depth and joy present on this album that I would say has been missing since she released Carnival Ride. We can sit around and track sales figures until "the desert floods and the grass turns blue," but there is not a single person in this conversation who bases their support of Carrie on how many records she sells--it's because we connect with her musically and find happiness in her songs. I've been a fan since her first performance on Idol, and I haven't stayed around because of how many times she gone platinum.

I'm a bit late with the setlist talk, but...
Jesus, Take The Wheel Before He Cheats All-American Girl Last Name I Know You Won't I Told You So Cowboy Casanova Temporary Home Undo It Good Girl Blown Away Two Black Cadilacs See You Again Smoke Break Something In The Water Little Toy Guns Heartbeat Choctaw County Affair Renegade Runaway ***Cover song
I assume she'll keep all the oldies that are good for a live show (Undo It, CC, LN), and I think TH, IKYW, I Told You So and the four BA singles will stick around for awhile. A cover for the encore is pretty much a given as well.
I wouldn't be upset at all if she ditched quite a few of these songs (we've heard them so many times, even during Opry appearances), but I'd settle for removing AAG/TH and bringing in an oldie. I'm DYING for her to bring back "So Small" or "Just A Dream."
The recent appearance of DFTRM was a great change of pace, and I enjoyed hearing that one again.
