Production-wise, it's amazing, but for all that is good in this world, could she please just dump UI? From the album, she'll likely do "Choctaw County Affair" and will obviously do "Smoke Break", and with any luck, "Dirty Laundry" and "Relapse". But yeah, she's not doing this album nearly enough justice with making both "Chaser" and "Mexico" interludes.
Edit: lol, and just like that, next in the setlist: "Dirty Laundry". Edit: aaaaaaand next, 'Choctaw', lol, and she played harmonica on it! Also, :eyes: @ the audience singing along. Maybe it actually could smash if they released it?

Since she's doing 2 ST songs in one segment, I'm holding out hope for "Relapse"! "Smoke Break" is definite, but I have to imagine the rest of the concert will contain more than just one ST song... *fingers crossed*.

Okay. She delegated "Relapse" to an outfit change interlude, too. Pissed. ETA: She's covering "I Will Always Love You". Doesn't make up for the treatment towards "Relapse" and "Chaser", but w/e. Intro'd WINKIAW (?!) with comments that Isaiah took his very first steps today.

At the rate that setlist is going, why is it called the "Storyteller" tour if there are next to no songs from Storyteller in it? The one setback to having 20-something #1s... lol. She's done three ST songs and she's probably about halfway through the show. She'll probably do five or six total when all is said and done; which is typical for her concerts. She did 9 songs from Blown Away on its tour (according to wikipedia). And I understand you have to do the hits because that's why people are buying tickets to see her: to hear the hits. But at the same time, you can still balance a set that's filled with the hits and with cuts from the album the tour is supposed to be supporting. Anywho, it looks like a really cool show & I hope to go to a show if there's a second leg.

Two covers and no "Relapse" or "Chaser"? Okay, Carrie, w/e. OMG "Clock Don't Stop"? Instead of "Chaser" or "Relapse". What??? I love Carrie to death but what in the world is she thinking? "Clock Don't Stop" over "Chaser", "Relapse", and even "Mexico"? I'm truly flabbergasted right now. Literally cannot wrap my mind around this. Easily the album's least-liked song gets picked over three fan favorites? :o :'(

This fourth act is truly bizarre, lol. I hope it evolves a bit as the tour progresses.

Can we PLEASE retire AAG?! Goodness... let another single see the love! (looking at you JAD, SS, DFTRM).
Not gonna lie though... i'm so happy Clock Don't Stop made the cut :) I bet the drums are epic.

I really hope she changes up the set list for the second leg of the tour. "Clock Don't Stop" is included, but "Chaser" and "Relapse" aren't? Wtf, Carrie.
Also, can we please retire "Undo It" and "Cowboy Casanova"? I know "Undo It" is Carrie's favorite song of all time to do live, though, so it'll be in every set list for all eternity. I could forgive that if she'd include "Relapse" and "Chaser," even as a medley!

The encore better be fucking epic to make up for the travesty that is Act 4.

It would be a pretty great set-list, if "Clock Don't Stop" & "What I Never Knew..." were swapped out for "Relapse" & "Chaser."

Yeah, this is easily her most disappointing setlist. She sounded great and the stage/production is awesome, but I just have way too many issues with the setlist.
First, the "Last Name"/"Somethin' Bad" mashup was just odd. Second, relegating "Chaser" and "Relapse" to interludes is just mind boggling. Third, singing "Clock Don't Stop" over the aforementioned songs just seems absolutely insane. Fourth, having two random-ass covers with WINKIAW in the middle and CDS at the end of the act just seemed completely disconnected and made zero sense. Fifth, the lame and predictable encore of "Smoke Break" and "Something in the Water"... Sixth, omission of "See You Again". Seventh, inclusion of "Undo It" and "Cowboy Casanova"...
The show has its moments, and the "Blown Away Tour" was truly a tough act to follow, but this setlist simply blows. She covers all the bases in terms of hit singles and such, and to the average fan this setlist is probably pretty awesome, but it's just mehh for me.

I mean, I get that some people here might disagree but is there a more broad reason these are poor choices? Encores are at least traditionally predictable. That's sort of the point.

And, I guess Carrie's encore of "I Know You Won't" and "Blown Away" during the last tour was just so epic that it's hard to live up to that. I LOVE "Something in the Water", but it seems oddly placed to me.

Yeah, I'm completely shocked "Clock Don't Stop" was included. It always felt like a filler song on the album, and has never been a fan favourite. "Relapse" on the other hand... Fans have been screaming about their love for that one since day one.
Personally, I would have switched "Last Name" for "Mexico," and mashed that up with "Somethin' Bad." And swapped out "Cowboy Casanova" for a "Relapse/Chaser" mashup.
I have a feeling the "Fishin' in the Dark" cover won't always be included. I wonder if maybe they will do a different cover song each night in that slot?
In terms of the stage/set design, this is probably her best tour yet. But the set list could use some major tweaking.

She's got time to fix the screw-ups. This makes me happy that she hasn't announced any convenient dates for me, because she'll likely have worked out the kinks before she announces & performs for the second leg. Flip the entire fourth act, dump UI and CDS, and rework "Relapse" and "Chaser" in there. I'm actually glad she did WINKIAW because I didn't think we'd ever get a live performance of it because of how personal she's always said it is to her, so the lack of hope for it made for a pleasant surprise. I don't think she'll ditch it, because the photo montage is audience candy. Also sad she cut the See You Again/See You Again mashup... That definitely felt like a "festival-only" thing that she did in her setlist during the in-between shows of her album tours. Also, Jacksonville radio station confirmed that it was a sold out show tonight, which is great considering that this tour includes a center-staged show, which opens up maaaaany more seats in the arena.

I think I was also expecting something a little more low key. Maybe it's just me, but the name of the tour had me thinking this would be a more acoustic/low key/personal concert. Instead, this seems to be her rocky-est and least personal show yet. I was hoping for more creative and acoustic type performances; "Don't Forget To Remember Me", "See You Again", etc. The show is entirely up-tempos with a few exceptions, and the setlist just doesn't flow quite like her previous ones have. Hopefully they tweak a few things along the way. And if there's a second leg, I hope they consider switching some songs out for a few others. Is is possible that Carrie just doesn't know "Relapse" and "Chaser" are fan favorites? I mean, maybe "Clock Don't Stop" is a personal favorite of hers... which is cool, but I mean, come on!? Oh well. I'm done complaining, finally, just a little bummed with the setlist, but still excited to see her next month! Hopefully some changes will have been made by then!

I'm glad it's not lowkey, considering the level of production we're getting this time around. If she were to try and do a bunch of personal ones, we wouldn't be treated to such a visual spectacle, which is something the BA Tour unarguably lacked.

If she were to try and do a bunch of personal ones, we wouldn't be treated to such a visual spectacle, which is something the BA Tour unarguably lacked. Well, that's kind of what I meant. Carrie talked about the tour a while back saying something about not trying to top the "Blown Away Tour", and I think she mentioned something about not going for the whole spectacle-thing. I don't know her exact words, but it was something like that. So with that in my mind, I was expecting more or less something low key in terms of production; which would open the doors to more acoustic/personal performances. I see I was way off in my thinking, but I was kind of expecting and looking forward to that different kind of tour. So I think part of my "disappointment" comes from expecting something that just didn't happen. I still think the show was great, I mean... it's Carrie. I just had in my mind something a little too specific based on things she said a while back.

Okay...a few things:
-I wasn't actually expecting "Chaser" or "Relapse" to make the set list...butttt I was wishfully thinking for a mashup between the two. If not, she should've performed one of those and had "Like I'll Never Love You Again" as the interlude while she's doing a wardrobe change. -I actually think "Undo It" is a fun one live, so I don't mind it. -"All-American Girl" has got to go. Please bring back "So Small". -"See You Again" mashup should've made the set list. -I didn't hear it yet, but "Somethin' Bad" seemed kind of random. Couldn't she have done "Mexico" with "Last Name" instead?
I'm also a little surprised that "I Told You So" and "I Know You Won't" were both left off.

Hey I like "Clock Don't Stop". It's probably the least "story" of the Storyteller songs but I love her vocals and the melody in the chorus is so catchy. After reading that one interview where Carrrie expressed concern "bare feet" could be too sexy in "Heartbeat" I had zero expectation that "Relapse" or LINLYA would be performed live. "Chaser" though.... Sigh.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in the setlist, but it's honestly about what I expected. The thing about having so many number one hits and being in the industry for as long as Carrie has been is, at this point people are going to see her expecting to hear mostly all of these big hits that they're familiar with. Yes, I understand that it's the Storyteller tour, but you also need to understand that a good majority of people going to see Carrie at this point in her career aren't necessarily going to see her because of Storyteller; they're also going to see her because she's Carrie Underwood. That being said, I almost think there's...too much Storyteller in it actually. However, I also think she should be utilizing more medleys/mashups at this point in her career than she is. The changes I would make to the set list: 1. I would eliminate CDS and put either Chaser or Relapse in there, or perhaps a mashup of the two. 2. I don't like Smoke Break being in the encore. I would prefer the encore to be SITW and BHC, with BA taking BHC's spot as the closer. 3. I would only stick to 1 cover per night, one or the other. Not both. 4. I would eliminate the LN/SB mashup, UI and CC. I would then put a medley of LN/CC/UI in its place, and put the medley where CC is in the setlist. 5. I would add the SYA mashup. 6. I would probably add a second medley of SS/JAD/ITYS, just to give them some love as well. 7. I feel like "Remind Me" should probably be in the set list somewhere as well (certainly deserves a spot over "Somethin Bad"), but eh. 8. On a personal note, get rid of CCA. Ugh. Not here for that song. At. All. {Spoiler}- -"Renegade Runaway" -"Smoke Break" -"Good Girl" -"LN/CC/UI" Medley -"Church Bells" [Outfit change, "Mexico" interlude] -"See You Again" mashup -"Heartbeat" (audience app interaction) -"Jesus, Take the Wheel" -"Wasted" [Outfit change, "TGYTIA" interlude] -"SS/JAD/ITYS" medley -"Two Black Cadillacs" -"Dirty Laundry"
-"Choctaw County Affair" (ugh do you absolutely have to Carrie) [Outfit change, 'Choctaw' outro and "LINLYA" interlude] -Cover: "I Will Always Love You", Dolly Parton -"What I Never Knew I Always Wanted" (with background montage of unseen Isaiah & Mike pictures) -"Little Toy Guns" -"Remind Me" -"Chaser/Relapse" mashup -"All-American Girl" -"Blown Away" [Outfit change, encore] -"Something in the Water" "Before He Cheats" Also, the set list is reaffirming my theory that the singles will go: 1) SB 2) HB 3) RR 4) WINKIAW, aka the order they were released to iTunes in.

I think the setlist is pretty solid. I would make a few changes; ones many of you have mentioned. I'll also echo what some have said about fusing more hits into medleys to cover more repertoire ground. But as she has done with past tours, I'm sure the setlist will be tweaked and re-worked with time.
The stage and production - from the videos I've seen - look incredible to say the least. This show is much bigger than I anticipated. I liked the Play On Tour more than the Blown Away Tour regardless of preferring the later album. But this stage and production looks like it really gets Carrie close to everyone and looks so cool at the same time. It also gives this tour a very different feel from past ones, which I think is needed at this point.
Wish I could go to a show even more now! She's such a force.

I think the setlist is solid. Except for Clocks Dont Stop. Lol CDS is the song i play the least form storyteller after SB. Should've been replaced with Chaser or Like I'll Never Love You Again.
Im shocked she sang WINKIAW!!! I thought she said she would never sing it live. This is my fav song from Storyteller. This means that it has a potential to be a single, and hopefully the final single to close the era.
I havent seen the video of the tour but from what i saw on instragram, there's rain on stage during SITW?
Edit : its the laser lighting. Lol. Kinda cool

I hope, if anything, this setlist means the singles won't follow the order of the pre-releases. I hope to god "Dirty Laundry" is a single. Please, God! Seeing WINKIAW does kind of point to the theory that the singles have all already been chosen, which drives me nuts. Hoping they go more than four singles deep to allow some combo of DL/CB/CCA to be released.

"Two Black Cadillacs" also needs to get taken off the set list. That one isn't really anything specia livel. And "Smoke Break" being in the encore is really lame.

SITW is a perfect song to close the show. Anyway, some clips from the tour www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6lDhxkLjGsThe stage is crazy. Its very very creative. Its keep on moving around so the whole audience get to see every side of the stage. The lighting is amazing. The energy is so high. I understand why she brings all her uptempo to the setlist.
