That acoustic "Chaser" is holy. ...and that acoustic "Something in the Water" is actually holy.

Do you think the person will really listen to what you have to say? No, but it can't hurt to try. Sure it can. If what they are looking for is to rile people up and to get attention, then you writing accomplished that and will only affirm to them that posting stuff like that gets him/her what they want.

Looks like HB will be #1 on the Country Airplay chart next week! When Keith Urban jumped her, I got worried haha. But she's still gaining and Keith is dropping. Her last #1 on the Billboard chart was Blown Away, which is kinda crazy when you think about it. I jinxed it :(

Welp, looks like homegirl made a quick buck. 28 seconds in. Haha! Yeah I bet she's tight on cash as of late. ; ) I wonder if she and Andy Samburg made friends after they were both on Tonight Show a few months back, resulting in him asking her to make a short cameo.

Welp, looks like homegirl made a quick buck. 28 seconds in. Yeah, I saw some people commenting on this on Facebook who were upset that Carrie claims to be a Christian and is in a vulgar movie.

Happy Heartbeat is #1 but ready for the new single. Still think it's between Choctaw and DL. Choctaw would be a better song for some live performances (Idol, ACMs) but DL I think would be a smash digitally. Either way she can't go wrong.

I definitely want "Dirty Laundry" as a single, but I'm not sure if I want it or "Church Bells" next. The first two singles have already been a little different from her past work, and I'm not sure they have really paid off. Yeah, "Heartbeat" is going to be her first Billboard Airplay #1 since "Blown Away", but it's sales along with "Smoke Break"'s sales have been nothing great, and I think the album sales could be higher as well. Not to mention that the live performances have been a little less than exciting.
"Church Bells" is more in line with her past work, while still being a great song. I think radio will latch onto it with no problem and it will resonate better with casual fans. "Dirty Laundry" is still a definite hit in my book, but I just think it should be released after "Church Bells". "Choctaw County Affair" is very polarizing to me. There are times when I like it, and times that I don't.
I have 2 friends who were never really huge Carrie fans, but they fell in love with the Storyteller album, and are coming with me to see her in concert next week. They both hate "Choctaw County Affair" and to a lesser extent, "Church Bells", but keep in mind they aren't your casual country listeners, so take that for what you will. One of them told me last night that "Like I'll Never Love You Again" is their favorite song on the album, and I think my other friend said "Chaser" is her favorite. They also love "Dirty Laundry", "Relapse", and "Clock Don't Stop".
So yeah, I think "Dirty Laundry" will be huge, but for country fans, I still think "Church Bells" should still be released.

"Church Bells" can sit. "Dirty Laundry" and 'Choctaw' are the most logical choices for Country radio at this point. If she wants a risky crossover hit, "Relapse" is the pick.

I don't think they could go wrong with any combination of "Church Bells", "Dirty Laundry", "Choctaw" and "Relapse". Where I think "Relapse" would be Carrie's biggest hit in a long time, I don't see it getting released. I would be okay with "Church Bells" not getting a release as it reminds me a lot of "Blown Away" and "TBC" and that was an album ago and they both saw releases. I think my ideal release pattern would go: "Dirty Laundry", "Relapse", "Choctaw". Is "Chaser" getting any AirPlay in the countries that it was released?

Carrie is totally nailing the phrasing on "Chaser" now, the most recent performance in Dublin is the best yet:
Now if only she'd sing "Relapse" live sometime ...

Either DL, CB, or CCA next is fine for me.
But Carrie and her team loves to surprise her fans. They might release Clocks Dont Stop next as its on the tour setlist. Lol.

I'm here for Dirty Laundry as a single. Chaser and Relapse should follow in either order.

DL would make for one of her coolest and edgiest singles ever. I'm thrilled about this.
