All of their studio albums found representation in my top ten Ah hell. I was going to post that "Feel Good Hit of the Summer" and "Regular John" just missed out on my top 10...and I just realized that I forgot about "Better Living Through Chemistry". Urgh.

starting to tally the results to get a head start before the final deadline tonight and I'm really loving the variety here. Quite a few surprises at the top.
Outside of Beck this may have been my hardest Top 10 to tally for me, there are so many great tracks I had to leave out (Little Sister, Go With The Flow, Mexicola, Kalopsia, If Only, etc.)

Pulse Top 10s #14 - Queens of the Stone Age - Results
No big surprises for the #1 here as No One Knows gets the nod from all but three posters' selections. However, the rest of this list was really diverse, and I love that non-single I Appear Missing hit #2 overall! 21 of the 48 nominated tracks were picked by only one poster, showing the depth and quality of the band's whole discography. Every album had a bunch of tracks picked and every album but the self-titled got a song into the Top 10. The #2 slot changed hands several times throughout the week, with Little Sister and The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret also holding time in the runner-up slot. Love that I Appear Missing scored so high. Hurts that I just barely left out Kalopsia though, sinc that's the only track from that album to not make it on the list.

Wow. I expected "No One Knows" to be #1, but I NEVER would have expected "I Appear Missing" to be #2 (and appearing on the second most ballots). May be the most pleasant surprise of any of these votes.

Sadly, I've never even heard "I Appear Missing". Listening now, but it's still awesome that it made it up that high! And with Like Clockwork scoring 40% of the top ten.
Surprising that I was the only rep on "Mosquito Song". Thought that song was a little bit more well known, though maybe it could be just me living in a bubble. "River in the Road" is underrated; was an instant standout the first time I listened to Era Vulgaris. I love the transition from the last power chord of "The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret" into the drum intro to "Leg of Lamb" on the album, so naturally the latter song stands out to me personally.
I also went in alone on "I was a Teenage Hand Model" from their debut album; it's one of the easier tracks to listen to on a record full of primitive sounding songs, but I especially like is the last ~90 seconds or so which are nothing but dissonant sound effects. I'd just gotten a job at the time I was trying to get into that album, where for the first time in my life, I had to get up at 4 or 5 in the morning, and that song, as an alarm clock, woke me up every time--either from the sound effects themselves, or the actual song, in association with the sound effects to come. If anyone can sleep through that at any reasonable volume, they deserve a prize. So I made the song a sort of honorary #10 as that song played a large part in me not being on the unemployment line.
Wish I had room to include "Auto Pilot" from [R] as well, since no one else did, but I don't know what else I could have removed to give it a spot. "No One Knows" would have still been a runaway #1 without my vote, and I figured as much, but I try to avoid that sort of dishonesty.

Very diverse list all around. I had considered throwing in "Medication", but all in all I'm happy with my list. I need to hear #2.

I didn't vote because I'm not that familiar with all their albums but I would've included Mosquito Song.

Another one of the longtime ballot veterans Alice In Chains wins the vote with 10 posters supporting them. The Cure and 311 only get one vote each, but the former had less overall nomianation points so falls off the ballot. The two new artists are David Bowie with a second week of strong support, and The Cars, re-entering the ballot and making Dr. Indie very happy. The five artists that were closest to earning a slot this week but fell short are The Smashing Pumpkins, Tame Impala, INXS, Pearl Jam, and AC/DC. Here are the full standings:Alice In Chains - 10 Tool - 9 Nirvana - 7 Deftones - 6 The White Stripes - 6 blink-182 - 5 Radiohead - 5 Coldplay - 2 311 - 1 The Cure - 1Here's the link to the Alice In Chains ballot!Voting closes Sunday February 14th at Midnight EST. Thanks for voting!

Nice, another one of my favorite bands. This one was really hard for me, more so fitting all the songs I wanted than choosing the best, their #1 is one of my favorite songs of all time. It was so tough my #1 song from 2009 was left off the list.

It took me a while to get used this band's melodic to un melodic contrasting style of their music. I was never a big Grunge fan for obvious reasons. Mainly; for leaving most of my favorite bands out of work. , but "Man In A Box" became my favorite Grunge song of that era. I don't count STP, cuz they were not from Washington. To me they were just an awesome rock band who jumped on the Grunge train and rode it with ease.

Submitted mine. I didn't listen to their whole discography like I intended to, but maybe it's better that way. I had to make a few difficult cuts as it was (Would?, Grind, and Over Now all get honorable mentions).

Pulse Top 10s #15 - Alice In Chains - Results
Back for the results of the Alice In Chains vote! I had to clear up some songs appearing twice on a few members' ballots and wanted to wait for their responses before posting the final results, so here they are. Would? storms to the crown with a wide gap in points despite not being the most-nominated song. Down In A Hole earns that honor, appearing on all but three ballots. Most of the top ranks were dominated by tracks from Dirt and the highly-acclaimed Jar Of Flies EP. I hadn't really listened to the two new albums before this vote, and found some great tracks that I otherwise would have missed. Check My Brain was the highest ranking Layne Staley-less track. Glad to see Black Gives Way To Blue in the top 20 despite me having to leave it off my list. Also pleasantly surprised with the performance of Nutshell.
I see The Smashing Pumpkins are getting a fair amount of support now hopefully they can hop on the ballot
