Are you all on the ground? No, lower level. The floor for my show is all standing room only, and I am short. We're also driving up that evening so I'm not sure when we'll get there - feel better knowing we have a seat. Her stage is awesome though! I'm excited!

Are you all on the ground? Same as carriekins, lower level. But I still have really good seats! :) it'll be my 2nd time seeing Carrie and 2nd time seeing Easton as well.

zack97 I'm also lower level. For the same reasons as carriekins, I'm short and I don't want to stand for 3 hours. Lol... carriekins, are you going to the Boston show? I saw you mention something about Connecticut, so I'm assuming you're from the area?

I might be going next spring. Would be my first time to see Carrie. One of the few A listers I haven't seen.

Homegirl needs to announce leg #2. She's missing so many *key stops on the first leg. *key = me. I might be going next spring. Would be my first time to see Carrie. One of the few A listers I haven't seen. Worth every penny you'll spend.

Yeah, I'll be missing Carrie on the first leg since she's not coming anywhere near me. Though, from twitter it seems it was a bit of a gong show buying tickets during the presale yesterday, what with the new VIP packages taking up 99% of the good seats, so hopefully by leg #2 they have all that worked out. I'm short, but I love GA and tend to have good luck getting near the front of the stage with GA tickets, so I'll probably take my chances and buy a regular GA ticket. I'm just not sure my arena is worth shelling out an extra $100 for early entry, since most people here don't tend to get to the show until halfway through the opening act anyway.

Normally I'd be okay with floor seats, but with the "in the round" setup, I feel as though being on the ground may be a disadvantage. From the balconies, you can see Carrie the entire time, but from the floor you may only have a good view of Carrie when she's directly in front of you. The shape of the stage is such that Carrie will sometimes be right in front of your face, or almost completely out of sight. So my suggestion would be a balcony seat (towards the front, obviously). But if you enjoy being on the floor, then I'm sure you'll be just fine there; I just don't think up-close floor seats for this setup are as good as they usually are because the stage is oddly shaped and takes up almost the entire floor.

Yeah, I'm kind of glad I won't be seeing her until the second leg, so I can get an idea of what the best seats are from people who attended shows on the first leg. I love being on the floor because I find the energy there so much more exciting, whereas whenever I sit in 100 or 200 level seats, I feel like I have to sit down the whole time or the people behind me will get mad, and there are some songs you just have to stand during! ;) I saw Shania recently and had pretty good 100 level seats, but my entire section sat for the whole concert except for maybe one song, and I found it made me enjoy the show a little less. Anyway, sorry mods for going off topic! In regards to "Smoke Break," I'm not surprised Carrie is performing this at the CMAs, but I kind of can't wait to move on to the next single. I don't dislike this song - it's not bad, it's just not very exciting. If I weren't already a huge fan of Carrie, this song wouldn't have made me excited to go out and buy the album. Though, I'm fairly certain "Heartbeat" is going to be the next single, in which case I'll just start looking forward to the third single now. (IMO those two songs are the weakest on the album, so it's a little disappointing they're the first two singles released - assuming I'm right about "Heartbeat" being second.)

I would love to see Carrie Underwood in concert again (saw her Play On Tour in 2010), but I hardly ever get to go to shows because my mom is like the only one I can go with and she never wants to spend the money or go really, lol. Ugh.

2 1 OLD DOMINION Break Up With Him 8461 7933 528 54.730 4 2 COLE SWINDELL Let Me See Ya Girl 8108 7641 467 54.485 3 3 FLORIDA-GEORGIA LINE Anything Goes 7988 7787 201 53.088 5 4 CARRIE UNDERWOOD Smoke Break 7618 7287 331 49.924 7 5 CHRIS YOUNG I'm Comin' Over 7022 6323 699 48.004
These 4 are the key players this week as far as the country charts go. It remains to be seen who will get the #1 on MB here, or over at Billboard. Old Dominion appears to be trying to hang on for a 2nd week on BB and a 1st week on MB, but Cole is surging also and will be trying to overtake OD. Regardless, the two will be done after this weekend, there's no way either can sustain another week at or above their current level.
Then there's FGL, who will likely be plummeting very soon, they've already lost audience. However, Chris Young is emerging as a wildcard as of now. He's been posting higher gains on MB since yesterday and while he is Carrie's labelmate, I would consider him a minor threat at this point. He's doing his job and is holding the rest of the top 10 down. If Carrie can get there first, there's no reason she and Chris both can't get a week in at both charts.
Monday's Billboard update shows a similar story:
Break Up With Him-48.976 Let Me See Ya Girl-47.271 Anything Goes-46.597 Smoke Break-43.240 I'm Comin' Over-41.392
Chris gained almost 5 million last week on BB, while Carrie gained only about 1.6 million. She needs to get into the 46-47 million range by the end of the week to put her in position for the #1 next weekend. I see Cole and OD getting to 50 million, if not more by the end of the week. That way, they can make the final push next week to land her the MB and BB #1 in two weeks. It's entirely possible at this point, but the issue is we don't know what Sony has planned. I pray they aren't holding Carrie back to get Chris a #1 first, but only time will tell.

Ugh. My mom is going to Carrie with me. She loves her and everytime she comes to NC she has to see her too. Same way with Taylor. But I go to shows alot if I have no one to go with. Odds are buying 1 seat I can get much closer to the stage. It's worked plenty of times. I still can't believe we got front row of the seated section to see Carrie in Greensboro!

I'd love to see a big name, but I know that it'd be like 40 zillion for just the nosebleed tickets and I don't have that kinda money.

KCYY in San Antonio has started spinning "Heartbeat." It was spun 22 times this week, accounting for over 200k of total MB audience. Now this station has played some "non-singles" before in the past (they're still spinning "Games" by Luke Bryan) but I thought it was interesting since they slashed "Smoke Break's" spins by more than double this week as well. Getting a station added and spins: JUSTIN MOORE You Look Like I Need A Drink 27 237 KEITH URBAN Break On Me 9 131 GRANGER SMITH Backroad Song 4 46 CARRIE UNDERWOOD Heartbeat 1 43 RASCAL FLATTS I Like The Sound Of That 3 42

I guess I underestimated my mom because my sister just texted me and said that she's getting us all tickets for Carrie Underwood, so nevermind I suppose the dream to see her live again is still a possibility.

Thats awesome Nick! So happy you get to see her! I'm still in shock I'm on the front row of the 100s! Best seats in the place since the floor is all GA.

Thanks guys! And it's official, I'll be seeing her in May! Woohoo! <3
I'm glad her opening act is Easton Corbin too. I like when the opener is also someone good, lol. Plus, it'll be another person to see live that I'd probably otherwise not get to see. :)

This mornings mediabase update worries me. Chris Young is now 400k behind Carrie. I'm hoping Sony applies the brakes on Chris and gun it with Carrie. Come Monday she needs to post some massive gains and out gain Chris. This is gonna be interesting!

Billboard is harder to manipulate, so I hope Sony doesn't screw over Chris just so Carrie can get a #1. It seems like Chris is naturally moving up faster than Carrie, so if his song is more popular than he should be #1. I don't want Carrie to get a manipulated #1 on Billboard.

I posted this in her album thread in the artists section, but I got tickets for March 19th in Allentown, PA. I got the pre-sale through her Fan Club, and got General Admission (floor) originally. However, I had them changed to level 100 seats after some people on here made good points about possibly not getting to see her on the floor and having to stand the entire time. The venue was nice enough to change them for me. :) :) Of course, I try to see Carrie every chance I can get, so if there's a 2nd leg maybe I'll get GA if it doesn't look too bad after I see her in March.
I also entered to win a Meet & Greet through the Fan Club. If I win, it'll be my 4th time meeting Carrie. I've also gone to other smaller events where I didn't "meet" her, but she recognized me in the crowd and one time she specifically said hi to me in front of everyone between songs. Legit almost passed out lol.

Someone please give me a reason to believe Carrie isn't going to be shafted by her own team again and that they're just positioning Chris well to go up after her. He leads her in AI now and will probably pass her on BB, right? Give me something positive lol

If the radio charts are so easily manipulated, why do people care about them?
When does Carrie co-host that countdown? Isn't that usually a sign of when a label is pushing for #1?
It would be no surprise if Carrie gets screwed over again. But, really, why does it matter? Let's see how Chris' album sells. The song is at #19 on iTunes country at the moment. Actually, "Smoke Break" is highest on iTunes of the current contenders for #1. It's the only one in the top 10.

As a Carrie fan its just a little frustrating that the top female star in the business and one of the most talented artists in the industry is sacrificed and forced to play nice by her label so much....and her hard work and success isn't recognized at awards shows.
