I like this one a lot. This is one of those dance songs that I could see becoming boring in a few weeks though.
It's a ballad with a dance beat... female vocals.

I haven't really liked anything he (or they) have done besides "9PM" but that was a super song IMO. I think I'm more into the instrumental club jams that have hot beats and little melody, as opposed to the cute dance songs with a sweet female vocal. Just my opinion, I think i'm in the minority with it.
This, if its brand new, should be on one of the next dance Promo Onlys I get, so I will look for it then.

I like it. I like the piano in the song. However, I liked ATB's older sound more when his songs weren't so pop-sounding.

I like this one, but it's nothing incredible.
stevienice, you might actually like his "Two Worlds" album which I own. It has 2 discs, one is called The World of Movement the other is The Relaxing World. One is more upbeat, the other more chill. It has his trademark sound throughout and only a handful of the tracks have vocals. It's pretty good IMO.
I really like the ATB mix of "You're Not Alone", you can find it on the usual download places. I also love "The Fields Of Love".

I went onto Amazon.com, did a little reading on it and now have a copy being sent out within the week! So, I'm looking forward to hearing this. I'm very familiar with the name (but not the music I don't think) of Heather Nova, and I did a search on her and found out she had done an album in the early 90s with the bassist from Killing Joke, which is really funny because I've just gotten really into about 20 yrs of KJ stuff over the last couple months! I think it's funny how things always seem to link somehow, someway, no matter how obscure or odd pairing it may seem, no matter what, something always links something to someone or something else in music. It's kinda amazing if you think about it. sorry, didnt mean to ramble on... thanks for the tip, will be looking forward to doing a little review of the discs when I get them...

Heather Nova? She's had a few hits on my chart! Apparantly she's NOT Canadian but she is to me because she sounds Canadian.

Cool stevienice... I hope you bought it 'cos it sounded good to you and not 'cos I said you might like it 'cos I get nervous about things like that LOL, don't want you hating it and blaming me ;)
I made a copy of it for a friend a few weeks ago and I saw him yesterday and he told me he loves it and hasn't stopped listening to it since I gave it to him and do I have anything else similar... so I was pleased about that. It's not the kind of album I'd listen to often but in certain moods and for certain reasons it's great. Anyway, let me know what you think.
I like coincindences in music like that as well... it's cool how it all seems to link together.

I gotta agree with that. I bought a used copy of that 2 months ago and I really love it. But I wish the single version of "Let U Go" was on there instead.

Sean, even tho u don't have the same tastes as me when it comes to mainstream music, I do respect ur opinion and passion for the artists ur into. And I am familiar with some of ATBs stuff. And I did read some reviews on Amazon.com from other buyers. But quite frankly, ur opinion is good enough for me.

Sean it just came this afternoon, and I had a concert to go to tonite (Frank Sinatra) and now I'm working on my own track, so I'm giving it a listen tomorrow.

Cool.
ATB has a new single out here, it's called "I Don't Wanna Stop". It's along the same lines as "Long Way Home" (am I sensing a pattern ATB!?)... it has a steamy video clip that's quite good!
On the subject of ATB.... if anyone gets the chance, download ATB's mix of William Orbit's "Barbers Adagio For Strings"... it's a GREAT trance track and the ATB touch is awesome. Another great remix is the Ferry Corsten remix, 2 completely different takes on a classical tune. I wish there were more songs like this made.

"I Don't Wanna Stop" came before "Long Way Home." In Germany, his own country, at least.

I don't think I've heard Long Way Home
but ATB also sang "Around the World", right?
and is that 9 PM you guys are referring to that song that she kept saying "Til I come"? That was a good song.

Yeah 9PM is the 'til I come song.
Not sure what's going on with the singles here. Actually I don't think "Long Way Home" has been released, I just heard about it ages ago from a friend so figured it came first. But the "I Don't Wanna Stop" video has just started being played here and the album just been released so it must be the same order as Europe.

thanks Sean
so "Around the World" was ATC, not ATB...lol
I remember getting them confused back when they transitioned, a few yrs back, from ATB having that hit, and then ATC coming out.
9 PM was a really good song, damn

I was very disappointed in ATB's latest material. Maybe it's just me, but after "Let U Go" came out, every ATB release since has sounded the same.

Hey Sean, sorry I haven't given a review earlier, and this is prolly gonna sound a little skewed becuz I just came home from a nite out partying and its after 5am here, and I'm kinda running on empty. But I did listen to the "world of movement" disc on thursday and yeah ur right, this is right up my alley!! The mellow 2nd disc I want to listen to with a bottle of Merlot and some smoke (i know a lot of people here don't smoke herb and I may be in the minority, but I have no problem sharing it with people, and I have to be honest, much as I love music, I have found that a little smoke and a favorite song are a truly amazing combo; my arguably all time favorite band is dire straits, and to me personally they do no wrong and i dont need enhancements, BUT, 1st time I listened to their album Love Over Gold, I was 18, free house, mom away for the week, bro in college, week and beer and that brand new album, was just an amazing combination!, but thats neither here nor there.)
One of the bars I hang out, Cranberries, is an Irish bar, and DJs there are true to there Euro-pop roots, Robbie Williams is really big with the djs, and thats def. a good thing, but, a few of these tracks are familiar with me, specifcally because I hang out at this bar, and "let u go" which is a super song and "fields of love" another great track, have been played there many times, so i was familiar with them. I also had LUG on a promo only.
I don't think I really started to perk up until "the summer" which I have heard, (i think this is another big track) but from "summer" thru "klangwelt" wow! this is awesome! this was definitely worth the 19 bucks or so with shipping from Amazon!
Personal faves, kinda hard to say, i love "loose the gravity", love the heather nova "...river" track, "fields..." and 'let u go" most definitely (who is York?) definitely "hypnotic beach", and u know something, when i saw "klangwelt" i really wanted to believe this was gonna be a great Kraftwerk ripoff, and it starts out that way, but turns into really good, but standard (not a bad thing) ATB fare. Sean, thanks for suggesting this, definitely a great purchase, chill disc will be listened to late at nite on a weeknite when i'm by myself, with the wine and smoke, i have a feeling that for me at least i will get into it more that way.
I'm trying to get a handle on his shout outs list, no one seems familiar. And that kinda faded chocolate leather chair on next to last page, i just ordered something like that for my new apt. reminds me that i gotta find out when my delivery is coming.
thanks for the tip!

Great to hear you like it! Sheesh 19 bucks is a little steep, I would've tried ebay first, but as long as you think its worth it. My fave track is "The Fields Of Love". I also have no idea who York is! I actually bought the single of it and ended up buying the album a few weeks later (d'oh!). Other tracks that I like: "See U Again", "The Summer" (this was the 1st single I believe), "Bring It Back" and others... From the 2nd disc I love "First Love", "Feel You", "Engrossing Moments" and "Sensuality". Actually the discs are not as 'different' between the 2 as I first expected but still cool. As for ATB with herbal enhancements, well whatever floats your boat! I tend to agree some music definitely goes well with some enhancements, particularly dance/trance of course. Those CD's are also good for bedroom activities background music as well

I like this song. It's like another version of 'Breathe' by Telepopmusik, except this doesn't put my to sleep.
