I remember hearing Scotty McCreery's "See You Tonight" multiple times in a single week at a supermarket in South Africa. I was surprised to hear country songs playing at stores outside of the US.

Perkins had two stints here in Western New York. Their first stay was way longer than the second. It is funny you mention Denny's because they took over the Perkins locations. Then Perkins came back a second time (only opened three restaurants) and they closed again like two-three years ago. I think the closest Perkins to me is east of Rochester. |

Today I heard "Something's Gotta Give" by LeAnn Rimes and "How Am I Doin'" by Dierks Bentley in the grocery store. This is the same store that once played "No Love Songs" by Chris Cagle.

He never said that "Shake It Off" was country and I doubt that he didn't know that already. I would've thought it was mildly entertaining as well to hear the two songs back-to-back. |
