Walgreens is playing "Way Way Back" by Luke Bryan. Interesting since that one is an album cut.

Walgreens is playing "Way Way Back" by Luke Bryan. Interesting since that one is an album cut. Last Walgreens I went to was playing "Live Forever" by The Band Perry. I guess they have a thing for obscure recent country.

OMG!! Here is the quadrafecta that serenaded me today while I waited for my new savings account to get set up. Martina McBride - "When God-Fearin' Women Get The Blues" George Strait - "Where The Sidewalk Ends" Blake Shelton - "Austin" Wynonna - "Tell Me Why" It was super quiet, so I didn't pay any attention at first and I might have missed a song or two. But then all of a sudden my Martina senses started tingling... A couple seconds later I realized why So I paid attention after that. Couldn't believe I heard a George album track right after Martina! When I asked the lady helping me where the music was coming from, she said she thought it was a Sirius station. MAN it's great to be back in Spokane

I heard "North to Alaska" by Johnny Horton at the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile (from the Food Network in Pawhauksa, OK while I was there this morning. I was a pleasant surprise they also played a ton of other classic country too. They have a pretty great playlist going there.

Target: Dierks Bentley - "What Was I Thinkin'" Sara Evans - "Slow Me Down"
It was mixed into a playlist of songs from all sorts of different genres and I got so happy at both of them. I've been listening to Dierks a lot these days because of the Dierks rankdown and the song I ranked at #1 got played so of course I got excited! And Sara Evans getting played is always nice and that's saying something because I don't even like "Slow Me Down" that much compared to other Sara Evans songs I know.

Macy's: Renegade Runaway--Carrie Underwood Stuck Like Glue--Sugarland
I was so surprised to hear RR since it wasn't a single and they were mostly old pop singles playing in the store. And dang it I miss Sugarland even though SLG wasn't one of my favorites from them.

I was at this Asian grocery store today and they were playing country radio. It's so weird because I don't really think Asians listen to that much country music. Most of the music was current or went recurrent recently ("Yours If You Want It", "I Could Use a Love Song", "What Ifs", "Hooked" - Dylan Scott, "Yours" - Russell Dickerson, "Get to You" - Michael Ray etc.) but the gold/recurrents that they happened to play was "Sun Daze" and "All Summer Long" Like why did it have to be those two?

Last week when I went to the country music nightclub to see Dylan Scott and Midland, I was thrilled to hear "Suds in the Bucket" played. It was amazing to hear so many people (hundreds) singing along to that song without it being at a Sara Evans concert, lol. It was also the *only* song by a female artist that was played to my knowledge while I was there (there was like an hour or so that I was outside on the patio so it's possible another 1 or 2 got slipped in there during that time, but I wouldn't have bet on it).

I work at a Target Express store, and whoever at Corporate controls the music must be a Carrie fan because just about every day I hear Renegade Runaway, Songs Like This, Cowboy Casanova, Good Girl, and Crazy Dreams. I love it!!

For bboat11: At breakfast this morning, I heard Martina McBride's version of Silver Bells on my local A.C. station. Thought of you and it put a smile on my face.
