Well that’s a surprise for sure! I just happened to listen to that song last weekend (while I was finally diving into his box set vinyl!) and when this came on I forgot just how much I adore this song.

Of all the songs from George they play down here in Texas this just isn’t one of them. I would love to compile a list of the top ten songs or so that I hear down this way, but y’all would probably be quite surprised by them haha. Just for the heck of it I’ll name off a few that are frequently played (and in no particular order):

I think my place of employment has Tanya Tucker’s Greatest Hits on repeat. I’ve heard Soon, Little Things, Two Sparrows In A Hurricane, It Won’t Be Me and Walking Shoes almost every day in the last 2 weeks. I love Tanya and two of these songs are my absolute favorite songs of hers being Little Things and Two Sparrows In A Hurricane.
