Nice #1! and great for Maren Morris so high! Deserved spike for Tim McGraw! Love that Josh Abbott is gaining steadily! Craig Campbell is also doing good! :) I seem not to find Aaron Watson's "Bluebonnets", though... ;) ;)

Week #31: Dated May 29, 2016
#1 Song:
As Reba's horses begin to quickly ride away in favor of her new single, "Enough", Maren Morris takes advantage of the vacated penthouse. She turns it into her church. Kip Moore slips slightly from #2, allowing both Brooke Eden and Terri Clark to pass him. Tim McGraw meanwhile leaps Jennifer Nettles as he enters the top 5. Martina makes a baby step up to #8, while her former tour-partner Trace Adkins steps into the top 10 right behind her.
Behind them, the rest of the chart is a clogged mess. So many excellent songs got leaped and were held in place, or even pushed back. Billy Currington was one such victim, who was hurt by the rapid ascension of Kelsea Ballerini and the mighty surprise leap for Alan Jackson, and also managed to fall behind Eric Church. Just outside the top 15, Dustin Lynch succumbed to all the eager beavers around him, as "Mind Reader" proved unable to stay ahead of Big & Rich, Tara Thompson, Old Dominion, and most importantly George Strait.
Carrie Underwood, seemingly immune from chart clog, waits just outside the top 20. Beneath her, newbie Cam swerves furtively around superdiva Celine Dion. Love And Theft have potentially the most impressive week of all, leaping from #29 up to #24, holding Brandy Clark, Dan + Shay, and Brothers Osborne in place. Not one to be slowed up by traffic, Trisha Yearwood zooms ahead of Jordan Rager and Jana Kramer as she enters the top 30.
Maddie & Tae pass Craig Campbell, holding Craig unfortunately in place at #32. They will battle it out for the top 30 next week. Further down the chart, Sara Evans makes short work of Kenny Chesney, and Blake Shelton begins to fall. Reba rockets ahead of Sam Hunt, Zac Brown Band, and Jake Owen, landing right on the heels of Keith Urban and pushing Sam out of the top 40. FGL pass Hillary Scott (WUT? Who'dda thunk I'd ever say that!). New debuts this week go to Chris Stapleton and Craig Morgan.
I fear my chart is going to be exceedingly clogged for a few weeks... Only one song appears ready to go recurrent next week... We'll see if everyone can continue to fight it out, or if someone unexpected will die in the melee!
Falling Off: Justin Moore - “You Look Like I Need A Drink” - Peak: 2 - Weeks On: 27 Luke Bryan - “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day” - Peak: 49 - Weeks On: 2

I seem not to find Aaron Watson's "Bluebonnets", though... ;) ;) Haha I know!! There are so many really good songs coming out right now... I'm actually starting to be afraid that one of these days I'll look at my chart and realize that I want every song on it to go #1...

Week #32: Dated June 5, 2016
#1 Song:Maren Morris holds onto the #1 for her album release week! Brooke Eden cannot hang on, however, allowing Terri Clark and Tim McGraw to round out the top 3. Meanwhile Trace Adkins sees a massive push into the top 5, leaping both Martina and Jennifer Nettles as well as the falling Kip Moore and Brooke Eden. Jo Dee Messina enters the top 10 for the first time.Outside the top 10, Eric Church passes Kelsea Ballerini and Alan Jackson, the latter of whom slips a few positions and loses his bullet. Right behind Alan comes George Strait, who leaps Old Dominion (allowing them to accomplish the rare task of landing at #16 in their 16th week on the chart, after being at #16 last week ;) ) Right beneath them, Tara Thompson and Big & Rich accomplish the exact same thing!!! How exciting is that??! Carrie Underwood gets another top 20 hit, as well as Cam.New additions to the top 25 include Brothers Osborne and Trisha Yearwood (Trisha's song only being half the age of the Bros'), holding Dan + Shay to #26 for the 3rd week in a row. Brandy Clark begins to fall, while Maddie & Tae and Craig Campbell surge into the top 30, sandwiching Jana Kramer who also scratched a little bit deeper into the top 30.
Jordan Rager/Jason Aldean fall out of the top 30, and Sara Evans almost catches them. Reba McEntire also approaches, passing both Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney as she races ahead on her massive surge of momentum. FGL and Hillary Scott enter the top 40, while Josh Turner approaches. Blake Shelton continues to fall, while Sam Hunt also throws in the towel. New to the chart this week is Cassadee Pope. Falling Off: Chris Young ft. Cassadee Pope - “Think Of You” - Peak: 1 (1 week) - Weeks On: 25New Entries: Cassadee Pope - "Summer" - Debut: 50New Certifications: Kelsea Ballerini - “Peter Pan” (Gold)Old Dominion - “Snapback” (Gold)Top 20 Favorites: 1) Reckless - Martina McBride2) Summer - Cassadee Pope3) My Church - Maren Morris4) Hometown Girl - Josh Turner5) 80s Mercedes - Maren Morris6) Church Bells - Carrie Underwood7) Sierra - Maddie & Tae8) Outskirts Of Heaven - Craig Campbell9) Peter Pan - Kelsea Ballerini10) Record Year - Eric Church11) Are You With Me - Easton Corbin12) Undone - Joe Nichols13) I’ll Be Home Soon - Craig Morgan14) Humble And Kind - Tim McGraw15) Holdin’ Her - Chris Janson16) It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To - Billy Currington17) Unlove You - Jennifer Nettles18) Make You Mine - High Valley19) Southern Boy - Jordan Rager ft. "Sweet Spot" is off to a great start. Part of me wishes I was charting it too because I really wanted to, but the album has been out over 2 years already and I've already got a long list of other things I haven't charted yet but want to... so I guess I'll just enjoy its progress vicariously through your chart, lol. Love that Cassadee Pope debuted this week, too!

Love that Cassadee Pope debuted this week, too! Haha for me, Sara is one of those artists that I secretly want to try to have charting at all times because she is just so consistently good that she deserves it ;) She is in the elite company of Martina, Reba, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, and a few others in that regard. So despite Slow Me Down's age, it is still her most recent album era, so I will kinda have to pull songs from that until we get new music! But I am okay with it because there are still several songs on that album that I wish had been released as singles :) Of course, I didn't start making my chart until like 8 months ago. So the album's age doesn't bother me as much because from my perspective I have only been charting songs from it for 8 months rather than 2+ years. So I guess my response to you is, it's YOUR chart, so do whatever you want! However, if you want Sara on your chart but don't think you should chart anything else from Slow Me Down, now you have "Infinite Love" you can add to your list of songs to chart (which I will be very shocked if you have not done that already. Lol!) ;) Personally I am conflicted, because now I want to chart "Infinite Love", but there are still more songs from Slow Me Down I want to chart, so I'm wondering what to do! Lol it's a new problem for me!

bboat11 oh yeah, "Infinite Love" is definitely going to chart for sure on my chart, haha. I hope you chart it as well though! I don't think it would hurt for that to chart along with more Slow Me Down songs. ;)

I don't think it would hurt for that to chart along with more Slow Me Down songs. ;) Haha I agree! It might be time to violate the ol' One-Song-For-Each-Artist rule ;) I'm thinking about doing that for Maddie & Tae as well, because there are still like 5 more songs I want to chart on their debut album, and I imagine there's no way they will be able to peak one-at-a-time before those girls get new music out...

Great to see H&K at the top! Nice to see "Peter Pan" crack the Top 10, and those moves for "Sweet Spot" and "Enough" into the Top 30!! Nice moves for FGL, Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, Easton Corbin, and Cassadee Pope too. <3 Your debuts this week are a mixed bag for me, but I enjoy two of them quite a bit. ;)

Week #34: Dated June 19, 2016
#1 Song:Trace Adkins claims his first #1 as he takes "Jesus And Jones" to the top in its 23rd week on the chart. Tim McGraw and Maren Morris fall out of the way, allowing Martina McBride to move up to #2 and Terri Clark to make some forward progress to land at #3. Jennifer Nettles also enters the top 5 at #4. Jo Dee Messina loses some ground to the pushy Eric Church, and Billy Currington enters the top 10.George Strait eagerly waits to secure his second career top 10 on my chart, leaping Alan Jackson to hold him at #12. Carrie Underwood continues to make stellar progress, sneakily approaching the top 10, passing Tara Thompson and Old Dominion in the process. Celine Dion once again leapfrogs Cam. Big & Rich finally make some upward progress, ending up at #17. New to the top 20 this week are Trisha Yearwood and Maddie & Tae. Meanwhile, Sara Evans and Reba/Jennifer take the top 25 by storm. "Sweet Spot" and "Enough" seem to be the 2 hot songs to watch right now, as they are both absolutely on fire!
Dan + Shay simply cannot withstand the pressure, and they crumple back to #27. Keith Urban and FGL both enter the top 30. Josh Turner waves goodbye to Zac Brown Band, Jake Owen, and Kenny Chesney as he settles in right behind FGL. Easton Corbin, Cassadee Pope, and Craig Morgan enter the top 40. Week #35: Dated June 26, 2016
#1 Song: This is an exciting week, boys and girls!!! 35 weeks into the making of my chart, and Martina McBride FINALLY has her first #1 hit!!!!! It's about damn time, and I think "Reckless" is the perfect song to do it :) Meanwhile, Terri Clark resumes her previous peak of #2. Jennifer Nettles snatches #3. Eric Church, Billy Currington, and Kelsea Ballerini all surge emphatically deeper into the top 10. Towards the bottom of the top 10, Tim McGraw and Trace Adkins both appear ready to make themselves scarce. Finally, George Strait secures his 2nd historical top 10 hit. Just outside the top 10, Carrie Underwood and Celine Dion appear to be warming up for some healthy competition. Alan Jackson once again begins to fall, after being just shy of the top 10. Maddie & Tae, Trisha Yearwood, and Sara Evans all rapidly begin to encroach on Cam and Tara Thompson. It will be interesting to see if they can remain afloat, or if they are going to get drowned by the aforementioned fast-rising ladies whose songs are only half the age... Big & Rich also begin to struggle mightily. Reba and Jennifer land right on their tale, just outside of the top 20. Old Dominion and Brothers Osborne both have a poor week, but Dan + Shay have a revival. They join Jana Kramer in the top 25. Josh Turner zooms into the top 30, passing Josh Abbott Band, FGL, and Keith Urban in the process. Kenny Chesney, after multiple weeks of stagnation, appears to give up the fight. Maren Morris enters the top 40. The only new entry to the chart is Mickey Guyton's "Hearbreak Song." Falling Off:
Maren Morris - “My Church” - Peak: 1 (2 weeks) - Weeks On: 26 New Entries:
Mickey Guyton - "Heartbreak Song" - Debut: 50 New Certifications:

Woohoo! Go Martina! That's what I like to see. I hope she gets multiple weeks up there at the top, but that she doesn't block too many of my other faves in the Top 10 from getting there in due time. ;)
Love that Sara Evans is Top 20 with "Sweet Spot"! And yay @ "Heartbreak Song" debuting! <3

And yay @ "Heartbreak Song" debuting! <3 Hahaha right??! I have literally lost sleep over the fact that I want almost every song currently in the top 20 to hit #1 sooner or later, and trying to figure out how to logistically make it work... Our old mistress Chart Clog rears her beautiful head once again ;) Of course, I would much rather have this problem than the other way around. Too much good music is vastly preferable to not finding anything enjoyable!

How did I miss this when you tagged me? A fantastic top three. I'm glad "Reckless" is getting the recognition it deserves here on your chart, since the song didn't do much of anything on Billboard or Mediabase. It's nice to see Mickey's new one entering this week. The more I hear that song, the more I love it. I wasn't too big on it at first, but now it's a total earworm.

Week #36: Dated July 3, 2016
#1 Song: Martina McBride clenches another week in the penthouse with the fabulous "Reckless", turning her first #1 single into her first multi-week #1. Terri Clark continues to hold onto the #2 position, at least for now. Unfortunately, Jennifer Nettles succumbs to the chart clog, throwing in the towel after being at #3 last week and allowing Eric Church and Billy Currington to pass her. Kelsea Ballerini is forced to stay at #6, but George Strait dives deep into the top 10 thanks to the recurrence of Tim McGraw and the sudden drop of Jo Dee Messina. Carrie Underwood also manages to leap up 3 positions to #8. Trace Adkins' descent slows down significantly this week; after dropping from #1 to #9 last week, this week he only falls to #10. Meanwhile, Celine Dion waits at #11, looking very likely to become the first pop artist to ever hit the top 10 on my chart. Despite looking ready to collapse when she was just inside the top 20, Tara Thompson now is pretty close to making the top 10 herself. Maddie & Tae pass Cam. Alan Jackson continues to fall, and looks like he may actually go recurrent this time. Reba McEntire/Jennifer Nettles and the Brothers Osborne enter the top 20 this week. Big & Rich, on the other hand, fall out of the top 20. Finally a pair of Joshes make the top 25 this week, as Josh Turner lands at #24 and Josh Abbott Band land at #25. The top 30 welcomes Jake Owen, Hillary Scott, and Easton Corbin, all for the very first time in the history of this chart. Craig Morgan, who entered the top 40 last week, managed to pass both Maren Morris and Chris Janson in the process of racing up to #35. Chris Young, Brad Paisley, and Runaway June all make the top 40 this week. Kenny Chesney lands at #40 this week while he is on his way out. Sara Evans and Todd Chrisley manage to sweep past Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice, as well as Aaron Watson. Randy Houser continues to struggle, this week losing ground and falling back a position. New debuts this week include Thompson Square, Dierks Bentley/Elle King, and Chris Lane. Falling Off:
Tim McGraw - “Humble And Kind” - Peak: 1 (1 week) - Weeks On: 21 Old Dominion - “Snapback” - Peak: 14 - Weeks On: 19 Love And Theft - “Whiskey On My Breath” - Peak: 20 - Weeks On: 14 New Entries:

Love seeing Carrie make the Top 10 and Reba make the Top 20! Exciting to see Celine Dion doing so well in a sea of country music. She's incredible though so definitely a great choice there! Also really excited about that big jump for "Infinite Love" and seeing Thompson Square get a very nice debut! It's also quite beautiful seeing the Randy Houser song flop like it did in real life, lol.

I like some non-country things too!!!" But I'll be damned if "Breakaway" isn't one of my favorite songs on the entire chart right now :) And I still like Randy enough that I was willing to chart him for a few weeks with a subpar song. But right now there is just so much good music that I need to get rid of some "meh" songs to make room for the good ones! (He says whilst debuting "Fix"... Lol!)

Great chart again this week. Glad Martina could hold the top spot for another week. I totally understand your comments on Randy and your decision to have "Song Number 7" exit your chart. I still like Randy, but I agree that there is too much good music for that particular song to get in the way of space on your chart. Bummed to see Jo Dee falling, but I'm content with her peak. It's such a bummer that the new EP will not be released anytime soon. I really wish she could sign with somebody like Thirty Tigers, because they seem to really handle operations quite well. Plus, I think the Me album allowed Jo Dee a bit more insight into the entrepreneurial side of the industry. She had to take the reigns so to speak. And, she still could but kind of be allowed a step back if she signed with someone like Thirty Tigers. It's a shame eOne let her go.

Without you tagging me I would not have known there was an entire section devoted to personal charts! I have only ever stuck to the Country section and hadn't drifted out to this part. It's nice to know that there are a lot of other people obsessed with charts like I am! I started creating my own Country Top 40 back in 1998 and it eventually morphed from opinion poll to a formula to 100% decided by the votes of any fan who comes my direction.
As for your chart, I really like how you have designed it. I like the colors used, the pictures, etc. It is very "easy on the eyes!"
