Calvin Harris' tonight performance ended at Coachella and there weren't any new songs on his DJ set, but he brought Big Sean, Rihanna and John Newman to sing "Open Wide", "We Found Love" and "Blame", respectively. Oh! And Big Sean also sang "I Don't F*ck With You" after his collaboration with Calvin.

No. I didn't create Calvin's threads for Motion and this one in 2013. They were made a year later and early this year, respectively, as you could see in the second post of each thread. :)

I had some posts in the Games board which I edited and I asked Kurt to move them to the Motion thread. In case you remember, the first post was the same that thread had before and it's like the general information about Calvin, as well as the other threads for each era, so I preferred to ask him again to move that only one here, while the another remains as the main reference regarding the album.

I don't know if something is coming soon (*) or not, but Calvin's pics from his social media has changed today with the one below.



Coincidentally, the pic above is the same Taylor had on her jacket at Coachella, while the same logo is used on a cap he posted on Snapchat in his studio. Looks like it's going to be new merch, although this could mean anything else as well.

Despite there are some reports that Calvin and Taylor are hinting a possible collaboration at Coachella tomorrow because of the lightning bolt logo, it's confirmed that it's new merch from him, which it's being sold at this festival.



Oh! And he keeps teasing that new music from him is coming soon when he retweeted (then, deleted) a tweet early this morning and began to fave some replies with this topic. I'm wondering what 'soon' really means to him though.

During this week, it was revealed a new list of the top 50 wealthiest pop stars in the UK and Calvin has more than tripled his wealth since landing on the list in 2014 with a fortune of £30 million, where he's currently in the 27th position this year.

There's not any mention regarding new songs on his DJ set (kind of expected, I guess), but he brought Big Sean and John Newman again, as well as Theo Hutchcraft from Hurts, to sing "Open Wide", "Blame" and "Under Control", respectively. And Big Sean sang "I Don't F*ck With You" too.

Anyway, regarding the title, I still think it's called either "Lightning" or "Lightning Bolt" because of the high voltage sign emoji. Even, he has changed the pictures of all of his social media with this one, so it should mean something, I guess.

The new single is called "This Is What You Came For" and it features Rihanna on vocals as previously mentioned. The track was premiered on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show last Friday, where Calvin was interviewed by him at his home in Los Angeles and he discussed the song, among his upcoming collaborations with John Newman, Dizzee Rascal and Ellie Goulding.

Calvin was involved in a car accident yesterday and he suffered a laceration on his face according to some reports, making him to cancel his Omnia gig, as well as his headlining slot at the Hangout Music Fest today.

Apparently a new song leaked from Calvin that is called "Walking on the Sun" and features vocals from Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. I'm not sure if this is legit or not, but some blogs are claiming it is. It's pitched, so it doesn't totally sound like Ryan, but it is passable. The production is pretty similar to Calvin too.
