It'd be a bad look for Nicki to not show though, considering the album will be out. I'm sure she will come ONLY if she can open or close the show. I don’t necessarily agree that it would “look bad”, especially when it’s not a contested competition this year for Best Female. Irregardless, I’m almost positive she will perform since the album will be out On a different note, what is the song Nicki shared on her Instagram story last night? It’s not a new song, is it? I’m seriously a little confused as to why we haven’t heard anythIng about a new song/single tomorrow, given she’s been so secret about what she’s performing on SNL |

But knowing how Nicki operates, it made more sense to perform the most recent song she was a part of since nobody cares about "Barbie Tingz." She can, in the very least, brag about the chart performance of the Carti song after promoting it on a major platform. I do agree that it would have made for a cuter moment to see her recreate the video moment of her in the colorful dress with the dancer next to her though. But considering how she barely rapped "Chun Li," she def would have lacked on "Barbie Tingz" which requires way more from her. Idk, the performance for Chun Li was hot overall🤷🏽♂️. She's always performed like that ? Don't know why she chose Poke It Out for the 2nd, but that song is a bop, and she looked good. Didn't she say something happened where she had to switch things up? The technicalities that changed was she didn't drop the album cover or tour dates. That messy performances were supposed to be what they were. And NO. She has not always performed like that. This is one of my issues with Nicki--and an issue that MANY have with her--when she was on her come up, she acted like she wanted it. She rapped like it was her last shot. She performed with ENERGY. She got to her QUEEN position without having any real competition or female rap alternatives to challenge her spot. So during that time, she didn't have to GIVE as much. A trash feature was fine, because it was NICKI. A bad performance was fine, because it's NICKI. But a shift has recently happened where an active focus on other female rappers is taking place. Where Nicki went wrong is coming back from that break she took, and still phoning it in like she has been for YEARS when she should have been coming for NECKS to remind people why she is the queen. This subpar s**t isn't gonna cut it anymore when you have a pregnant Cardi B doing yoga on stage while rapping EVERY line without taking a breath. You don't become queen, and then relax; you keep showing us WHY you are the queen. |

Is Laurie Ann still working with her? Cause I know that defintley wasn't her workings. She most likely wouldn't have wanted her to focus on dancing more than rapping the song, and that's what is seemed like.
