I don´t want many features on this album though, I want her to really come thru and further prove that she doesn´t need features to have hits. Best Rap Female confirmed. I think it will be good as well but I wouldn’t be surprised if Nicki has a similar pull to Beyoncé in terms of agreeing to perform, with the guarantee that she’ll win. Also, Cardi may not even be present at the show due to her pregnancy so that gives BET even more incentive to give it to Nick (even though Card had the better year). Anyway, a Future feature is cute I guess but all this hype is starting to almost make me nervous- especially now that the teasing and stuff is going to continue for another 2 months because of the delay, which is going to raise the public’s expectations to an all-time high. I kinda echo your sentiment about wanting less features, mainly because I think that’s also partly why she doesn’t seem to get the respect she craves and always talks about. A bop is a bop to me, but I know Nicki is wanting more. |

Yeah, I get nervous when artists hype up their projects. She did the same with The Pinkprint so I want to trust her judgement. I really hope this isn’t a feature heavy album though. And if it isn’t a feature on a level of a Jay or Kendrick...keep it. No Quavo’s or Uzi’s on the album plz.
S/N - Do you think we’ll still end up getting a Nicki and Future mixtape/album? There were plans for it just before this album and they still appear to be close.

I don't understand why she makes an announcement for an actual announcement that ends up being pushed back only for it to be underwhelming after it's formally announced. Why does she do that? If she could somehow be off the internet for a couple of months one would at least expect her to zip it until everything is set is stone. That Nekci Menij scene where she keeps tweeting "7 Days til my announcement of an announcement" is too effing real right now. Art isn't supposed to mirror life that well |
