All I'm saying is I hope DWHAP was submitted as well. it was, but not for Rap Song. it's in Rap Performance. I'm surprised they moved SFG all the way to Pop Solo, I think it would fit better in Melodic Rap. I love her music and she is really the greatest female rapper of all time but her insecurity and childishness is a major turn off. I don't get it no one will ever top her in the game stop acting a fool.
Latto is equally disappointing. I'm a huge latto fan but she should have just taken the high road.

They just nominate however the hell they want, but I get her frustration.

As for the Grammy mess... there is a point somewhere in there. However, it's worth noting that Doja/SZA just won a Grammy in a Pop category for "Kiss Me More." While SFG does have a heavier rap component than KMM did, there's clearly a precedent for shipping Dr. Luke pop-rap confections to the Pop categories (and even for them winning, although SFG was honestly unlikely to do that in either genre). In recent years, we've also seen a Pop win for "Old Town Road" and nominations for "Fancy" and "See You Again." Is SFG less of a "Pop" song than those because Nicki doesn't flat-out sing the hook (as she's done on her more overtly hip hop songs)? I don't know that there's a definitive answer, but if there's one person who cares entirely too much, it's one Nicki Minaj. |

How is someone revered as a legend, queen, and best female rapper ever always tits deep in messy s**t week after week? I want to root for her, but her arrogance detracts from what should be fun feel good music.
What was the point in starting any of this if you don't even care about winning and want to see a street record win? The fuq? I get the point she's making, but as usual she goes about it flippantly and the message is lost.
Ultimately, she's not the first and she wont be the last to be screwed by the Grammys. It's always been an industry game, and she should know that by now.

She’s a Sagittarius for one, I do believe she has some sort of mental illness that hasn’t been discussed, and she’s also highly full herself (which could be part of the previous reason). Come at me, I don’t care. I speak from experience because I’m a Sagittarius and know tons of wild ones, and also suffer from mental illnesses. She’s quick to fly off the handle, get mean, and all that. So does Nicki have a point, yes? But the mess she’s always involved dilutes it.
I’m sorry, I think Nicki is great, and she has the numbers to prove she’s the queen of hip hop, but she has never excited me with her work like say, Missy has. There’s so much Nicki out there, I can’t keep up. She’s an awesome rapper, know doubt, but damn, focus on your ART and screw the rest. It doesn’t matter. 🤷🏼♂️

The idea of Nicki Minaj not having any more hits is downrighr impossible. If you drop 100 features a year at least one is bound to go top 40-ish.

Isn't DWHAP? In contetion for rap categories? She should have played the game on both genres and gotten a couple nods.
