BTW - and for what it's worth - 'Lukas Graham' is actually the name of a band who recorded 7 Years. Much like Sade, Daughtry, and Bon Jovi... the band is named after the lead singer - but with both first and last name in this case.

I stand corrected.
However, tagging them as a "one hit wonder" while the first song is climbing the charts is a little premature

At least Zac Brown, J.Geils, & Dave Matthews made it easy for listeners by putting "Band" after the names of the lead singers.

I stand corrected. However, tagging them as a "one hit wonder" while the first song is climbing the charts is a little premature It's also inaccurate because the US isn't even their main market. They've had a very successful, lengthy career in Scandinavia already.

^ I specifically said US, and it was an early prediction of mine just for fun... and it is being responded to as if I said it as a fact - being deemed inaccurate and premature.

I predict the following peaks: #3 for I Took A Pill In Ibiza #4 for Something In The Way You Move Woah, those are some big predictions. I don't see how ITAPII can reach #3 and I don't see how SITWYM can even make top 10, but ok.

I can see a much bigger public appeal for SITWYM than for On My Mind :) but that's just my opinion, feel free to disagree of course

I Took A Pill In Ibiza is was 33-24 on the last chart. It has a lot of momentum right now. If the video is released soon enough it should be guaranteed top ten. Mike Posner may not be a OHW after all. I've been REALLY getting into the song lately... Mike Posner already wasn't a one-hit wonder. "Please Don't Go" was a top 20 hit and made the 2011 year end chart, so no, this would just be his first major hit since those two songs.

Lukas Graham has songs that are FAR better than 7 Years, which honestly is a bit crap, IMO. Happy Home is awesome.

Ignorant! To dismiss the unique culture of an entire region just because the population is smaller than your own.

The 5 Scandinavian countries have a combined population of 26 million. That's 26x the population of Rhode Island, and slightly higher than the population of Australia.

You're correct. I'm wrong. They went multi platinum in Sweden. That's like at least 80,000 albums sold! Huge.

The lyrics of the song is beautiful, but his vocal performance is probably the most grating one I've heard since Magic!'s Rude (which is honestly one of the worst songs of 2014)

He's had WAY worse performances than See You Again. This is the guy who performed Marvin Gaye, my personal #1 worst hit song of the year.

I think my taste is weird, because I love Rude, Lukas Graham, Charlie Puth and See You Again.

Though personally for Marvin Gaye, I just think it's really mediocre and boring, not worse than One Call Away. OCA I just find really irritating (particularly the line "Superman got nothing on me" makes me cringe).
