PREDICTIONS 1. Work (=) 2. 7 Years (=) 3. NO (=) 4. PILLOWTALK (=) 5. Love Yourself (=) 6. Panda (+8) 7. I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix) (+2) 8. My House (-2) 9. Work From Home (+1) 10. Me, Myself & I (-2) 11. Stressed Out (-4) 12. Cake By The Ocean (-1) 13. Dangerous Woman (-1) 14. Pop Style (DEBUT) 15. Never Forget You (=) 16. Sorry (-3) 17. Don't Let Me Down (+8) 18. Jumpman (+14) 19. 2 Phones (-1) 20. Hands To Myself (-3) 21. One Call Away (-5) 22. One Dance (DBEUT) 23. Oui (-2) 24. Middle (-2) 25. Roses (-5) 26. Hello (-7) I feel pretty good about my prediction on Pop Style. As for One Dance, I just used itisravi's 14-15k pts prediction and imagined where those points would fit in. I think it could place behind One Call Away and ahead of Oui. If I get the 2 Drake predictions correct, I'm really good at this stuff (and I don't even calculate points. I just look at how big the gains and losses are and try to figure out if one song's gains are big enough to pass another song's losses. Example: Middle's gains and Roses' losses should end up getting pretty close for the #24 position) Where Do You Think it's Close by Nick Jonas?

MTS, you did it again...
Anyway, I wonder if, now that Work is getting its radio cannibalized by two singles if it'll finally reverse the margins next week. 7 Years should close the streaming gap a bit, is still ahead in sales, and now the radio could be extremely close by Sunday.

STOP DOUBLE POSTING
Happy seeing Work at #1 again, though this is looking like it's likely the last week.

I really am starting to think Panda is on the verge of being #1! I hope Lukas can sneak in 1 or 2 weeks in at #1 before then though, and a bit bummed out that Trap Queen didn't get it because I still much prefer that song to Panda. But other than that I'm okay with Panda being #1 I'm also glad that Work is finally working its way down (excuse the pun). 8 weeks at #1 is plenty for that song IMO

I get not wanting multiple posts from the same person, but sometimes I might have something new to say 3 hours later. If no one has posted in that time and I edit my post, would people even know something new was added?

If no one has posted in that time and I edit my post, would people even know something new was added? You can delete your original post and make a new post with what you had said before and what you wish to add. But I think the rule is mostly for instances of people posting something and then a few minutes later (or less) posting something again (without anyone posting before then), a point which could've been added to the original post. Hoping top 50 for Cheap Thrills, top 40 for YOUTH and top 20 for DLMD

No, but ultimately if the tracking week is still ongoing, someone else will make a post after and if people come in as a result of that, they will see the new info you added. Double posting because "I might have something new to say 3 hours later and want people to know something new was added" is an incredibly dumb reason to do so barring certain circumstances (as in, the chart coming out or a new article on the tracking week).

Two posts in three hours is much different than two posts in three minutes. You can use your best judgment to determine when you should post again rather than editing - or I can just tell you - like I did already and someone else PMed you today - that if it's three minutes, like it almost always is in the Hot 100 threads, edit your post. What Dylan :) said about deleting and reposting is also fine.

And "7 Years" may not get any weeks at #1 actually....at first I was thinking it will easily beat Work next week, but now I think it will be very very close..... like under 1% gap.... could go either way..... And the week after that, #1 will again be very very close... But this time between "7 Years" and "Panda". 2 very interesting weeks ahead!!

Sales/9 + Airplay/10000 + Streams/1200 Sales/9 + Airplay/10000 + Streams/1100 I've been assuming the first one so far, but there hasn't been anything to rule the second one either. If the first one is correct, "7 Years" will have a slight advantage, if the second one is right, Work will have a slight advantage. As I don't like either of the songs, I don't care which one gets it. but I will be rooting for Panda next week. :)

Ugh this thread is constantly going to shit every week.

It'll be a lot closer next week than people think, but I'm thinking 7 Years will snatch the top spot.

If Panda hits #1 without a music video, will it be the first to do so since H**lem S**ke??? I think the video will come out the week before it hits #1. And, "Work" was before HS

Does editing a post make it jump to the top like a new post does? I get not wanting multiple posts from the same person, but sometimes I might have something new to say 3 hours later. If no one has posted in that time and I edit my post, would people even know something new was added? No, but ultimately if the tracking week is still ongoing, someone else will make a post after and if people come in as a result of that, they will see the new info you added. Double posting because "I might have something new to say 3 hours later and want people to know something new was added" is an incredibly dumb reason to do so barring certain circumstances (as in, the chart coming out or a new article on the tracking week). First of all, I take exception with you calling someone's reasoning "dumb." You can disagree with someone's logic, but at least be respectful. Secondly, the posting rules applies to more than the Hot 100 thread, so you shouldn't use only this as an example. There are times, for instance, when I am in an artist thread and reply to someone. Then some new piece of news or something may come out a few hours later (or even a day later) yet no one else has posted in the thread. That has happened to me somewhat regularly. Simply editing my post instead of making a new one might mean that people miss some new piece of information was released.
