If both Drake songs debuted in the top 10, would that make him the first artist in a while to have two songs debut there on the same week? You know this is actually a good question - I honestly don't know if this has been done before. |

1. Work 2. 7 Years 3. NO 4. Pillowtalk 5. I Took A Pill 6. Work From Home 7. Me Myself and I 8. My House 9. Pop Style 10. Love Yourself (breaks record... Barely....) 11. One Dance 12. Stressed Out #9 and #11 debuts for Drake are a bit ridiculous for these. I'd say Pop Style gets top 20 and One Dance gets top 30. |

Love Yourself is showing an even more severe non-dying attitude on radio  I'd like its tales and streaming to tank tbh, but as far as radio goes I'd like to see it get 13+ weeks at #1, something I think no song has done since "No One" more than 8 years ago. And it doesn't look like anything will dethrone it within the next 5 weeks (I don't think DNCE or Eazy will dethrone him) so I'm rooting for it on radio! |

I don't understand why he chose to release 2 singles simultaneously. If he did it then why wouldn't other singers do the same (like, release Hello and When We Were Young at the same time and let them break the record lol)?

I'm not good with radio adds and what gets released where and when. All I know is that I heard that ITN was a pop single and "Acquainted" was an urban single. And that both were getting released at the same time. |

No shade but y'all are falling into that dicta territory that had a few people feeling some kind of way, and it's not all the friendly-conversation variety that would be more defensible. (edit: I don't actually care one way or the other. Just giving you a heads up because clearly not everyone feels the same way and I don't want you guys to end up annoying half of the people in this thread) One for pop and one for urban? (I say this without having heard the songs yet) Maybe? Pop Style is definitely not pop-friendly lol, it's pretty much in that Jumpman, Summer Sixteen, etc. lane. I'm surprised to see that it's the song at #1 on iTunes right now, because One Dance is definitely the one with more multiformat potential. OD samples Do You Mind by Crazy Cousins and Kyla, but slows it down and emphasizes the soca undertones more than the house elements. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people mistakenly call it trop-house or reggae though because it has that light summery feel to it. |
